First of all, this manga is NOT for people who get second hand embarrassment easily. I had to literally run laps while reading this but I managed. Anyway, time to start the review!

Story:

The story is fairly basic to understand. A guy who has a leg fetish and also happens to be a masochist and an innocent girl who will do whatever it takes to win his love, even if it means becoming a 'queen'. The story itself is decent, not the best but not the worst. There are moments I liked and the second lead is cool so overall the story gets a 7 from ... me.

Art:

I am not too focused on art is most manga but this art style stood out to me and I really liked it so it gets a 10 from me

Character:

There is a surprising large variety of characters. You have the masochist Futaba, innocent Kimizuka, the fun second male lead whose name I cannot remember but he is surprisingly cheerful to the best friend who seems to have a personality unlike most side characters in manga's like these. So I give it an 8

Enjoyment:

This was an interesting manga to read and I feel like the only reason I enjoyed it was because I read it on a discord call with friends? So we were laughing and fan girling over scenes together so this part might not be accurate to what others think about this manga

Overall:

I mean overall, somehow, this manga get's an 8. It's something I hope to continue as so rarely do you get a strong (sort of) protagonist that will really push herself. I can't wait to see what else this series has to offer!

Seeing a title like 'Diabolik Lovers' sparked my interest so I decided to watch it as a person who had not seen it while it was still airing.
Since I really don't want to finish this anime, I'm just gonna review the first six episodes.

Story: ...What story? The first episode, maybe, had story. After that ever episode was basically the same. One of the boys would drink her blood, Yui begs them to stop and they'd just say she was just a mortal or that she is a sacrifice ect ect. Unless there is actually a story past episode six, I feel like this anime is ... pretty repetitive. So it's a 2 from me.

Art: I'm just gonna put it out there that I don't really care for Art but this anime's art style was actually quite beautiful in a way. So I'd give it a 9

Sound: The sound was decent enough. It wasn't bad or good so it gets a 6 from me.

Character: Well the boys are sadists and Yui is a masochist. That's really it character wise. So it's another 2.

Enjoyment: I am pretty sure I'd rather watch paint dry than watch more of this. The first episode was okay, I enjoyed that slightly. The next five episodes made me so uncomfortable that I had to stop every five minutes to take a few minutes break. Enjoyment get's a 1

Overall, this anime gets a 3. Really, why does this exist?

So apparently this is a lot of people favorite romance anime so as someone currently obsessed with that genre I tried watching this anime.

From a story telling perspective, everything just seems cliche except for the horrible way Sata acts. What are you supposed to get out of this anime? Lying helps you make friends? I was on the verge of tears by episode four because Erika getting embarrassed and upset pained me to watch since it happened almost every episode.

However, i feel like the artwork was pretty good along with the soundtrack.

Now, character. What the hell was up with the characters? Sata is ... clearly a sadist. That much is clear. Erika was a masochist. Everyone else? Their characters seemed to just be random stereotypes like the selfish queens or the energetic jocks.

And my enjoyment? I feel like I suffered more than enjoyed. I gave up after 4 episodes so maybe one day i'll revisit it and say 'wow, this series got better! why did i ever drop it?' but somehow i get the feeling that will never happen

I tried going into this anime with an open mind after reading all the reviews. As someone that enjoyed animes like sword art online despite all the bad reviews I was excited to watch this.

And I was thoroughly disappointing. The problem I have with this anime is that every episode if even the slightest thing happens, all of 'protectors' start acting all and only talking about how they exist to protect.

This would be fine is the protagonist wasn't annoying. She isn't annoying, right? Wrong? After episode 5, I tried hoping she would stop acting like a weak protagonist and that episode 6 would redeem her ... and the protectors. It seem my wish didn't come true in the slightest.

I think this anime would of had potential if everything wasn't so stiff....

I really hope nobody I know in real life finds out that I actually watched this anime. For the sake of this review, I'm going to try and be serious.

First of all, the story. Honestly, where was the story? I feel like everything moved too quickly...First, they meet. Spend a bit of time together and then oh god why is this adult man giving a child a blowjob!?

Story aside, the artwork is is fairly good and the opening song along with the soundtrack are the types of music you'd get stuck in your head.

Overall, if you forgot about the music then you are left with ... an illegal relationship between a college student and a twelve year old. I wish I was joking when i say i actually threw up when Tamotsu said something about age not mattering before proceeding to give pico a blowjob.
