Firstly, there is this weird feeling of unease whenever some dark element shows up, totally unphased with the actual mood of the episode. Secondly, how slowly the world building is proceeding (not that I'm complaining) however the plot in Shinsekai yori is more heavy whereas Kemono Friends focuses more on cute girls cosplaying animals.

...then you might like JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze add

Although they do not have many themes in common, one can remind you of the other thanks to the italian setting or in the atmosphere and the vibes that you get while reading it. It's very subtle but the feels are the same.
