Let me begin by stating I've only recently been turned into DanMachi but am overall quickly becoming a fan. To make a very long review shorter, let me go ahead and states that this movie, which appears to take place between season 1 and season 2, is completely skippable and honestly I highly recommend you just don't waste your time. It may only be 1.5 hours in length, but it feels like an eternity.
There is almost no real plot, and most the movie is spent getting up to a monster who seems to have zero actual motive, it just serves as a plot point.

An original spin on an otherwise played out isakai harem anime. It does poke fun at being the reverse of the norm and subverting expectations by showing what would happen if a portal were to open to our world instead of someone else's for once, as well as poking fun at the normal seas of daily modern life that we enjoy so thoroughly. Each character is slightly different from the last as they are introduced throughout the series, however near the end all begin to act more or less the same, and some characters only appear on a very select number of times.

What is truly disappointing about this show is I really had high expectations for it. The premise seemed very interesting and the kind of original as well, and even seem to have some decent production value behind it.
Now that I have actually watched it, I am sad to say I was slowly disappointed. Not to sit here and complain all day I will sum it up by saying pretty much every character in the show is completely irredeemable and extremely annoying.
