Both involve a feudal environment giving off a pretty classic samurai film atmosphere. Both also show a lot of graphical violence/gore.

If you liked Shakugan no Shana add

...then you might like Toaru Majutsu no Index add

Both are set in a world that is quite normal on the first look (one is a bit more futuristic though) but involve supernatural occurrences, like magicians or people with abnormal powers. The atmosphere is quite similar, though the plot of Shakugan no Shana is a lot darker/heavier at the start of the show.

...then you might like Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora add

Both are short but pretty forward going romance drama animes. While Hanbun has a very realistic setting with a girl that suffers from an illness, Triya goes more in the sci-fi genre giving us some military aspects and a bit comedy too with a mysterious girl that has mental and physical unstableness. Also a bit more trivial but both female lead characters have a very similar hair color.

Same kind of harem comedy with a lot of ecchi and fanservice in it but absolutely nothing that can be considered story that took more then 5 minute to think of. Both also havea pink haired female lead character. So if you can enjoy one of them you'll probably also like the other.

Both are about a girl that wants to establish an drama/acting club at her school because there isn't one anymore or never existed one. While Tsuyokiss choose a tsundere to take the lead role, Clannad takes a light hearted and silent heroine who depends much more on her friends instead of her own strong will.

Similar art with both dealing with the relationship of more than one person. While in True Tears it is mostly focused on one male main character and his relationships and putting the other a bit in the background, are in kimikiss two male leads.

Both are about a boy who has to learn the behavior of a girl cause he, in the one goes to a all-girls school (and runs around as a girl) and in the other completely became a girl. They both have also some humor in them, through Kashimashi is a bit more serious.
