Demon slayer is a sorry excuse of an uninspired battle shonen and a perfect example of how to not write a story.
you probably know already how the story goes so I'm gonna skip over the brief summary

Overall:
Demon slayer is a generic and uninspired battle shounen that doesn't deserve the hype it gets, the story is repetitive, the side cast is annoying (at least for me), the art looks like a coloring book, and the villains suck. Not worth your time, there are far better battle shounen that are similar.

Despite this series being popular as f*ck I Still don't get the hype around it.
Let's review it
TL: DR at the bottom
Plot: Naruto's plot started off great and simple, and just got too complicated with Kishimoto trying too hard to be unpredictable with so much stuff going on at the same time, result: Lazy and rushed with predictable twists.

Characters: Again, The first half of the series before the time-skip used its characters great but got turned to shit in Shippuden, with most of them doing nothing to the plot and just purely there for comedic relief, doesn't work for a series like naruto. ...
The villains are a copy and paste all the time "I lost my best friend/family member so I hate the whole world now".

Art: extremely generic and uninspired for the most part, with all of the characters looking the same.

Fights: Despite being a battle shonen, the fights are not that great either after part 1. with lazy powerups and no purpose for the most part.

Overall: Not worth your time unless you only want to read the first half of the series.

Berserk has got to be one of the most shocking manga I've read in a while, However. I cannot recommend it to everybody, here is why:
Intense rape and gore scenes, and very dark world-building. Now that we got that out of the way, Let's talk about the actual qualities of the series itself.
Story: 10/10
The manga follows a boy named guts from birth to adulthood, and his struggles in life.
If I say more it will be huge spoilers.
Plot: 10/10
Literally, everything that happens, matters, the development is insane.
Characters: 9/10
Possibly the weakest part of the series, especially since it focuses on one protagonist and ... polishes him compared to the side characters.
But the supporting characters are still amazing, and they get a lot of development, just not as the protagonist (Guts).
World Building: 10/10
The world is huge and it's super needed for the story & characters.
Art: 10/10
Very detailed, dark, and matches the world of the series.
Overall: 10
TL:DR:
This manga is amazing, but I cannot recommend it to everybody, especially because of its habit to show disgusting human nature.

Hajime no Ippo was great until the series decided to repeat everything, no changes, barely any plot, and became worse over time.
Story: 6/10
the story is fine, the typical shonen manga with the protagonist wanting to be "the strongest"
Plot: 3/10
I know this series is supposed to be a sports manga, but for fuck's sake, make some changes, literally almost nothing that happens, matters.
The typical formula in the manga is like this: Ippo trains > we get to see the new opponent > Ippo nearly loses but wins in the last second > the cast doing "side quests" > rinse and repeat.
It was like that for ... the first 40 volumes, and it was good for a 40 volumes manga, just not a series that has been running for over 30 years now.
Characters: 10/10
possibly the best part of the manga, the dynamics are great, I don't really have any negative points here.
Art: 10/10
The art is fantastic, Detailed, and polished, Again no negative points here.
Overall: HNI should've been gone sooner, and ran way Longer than it should have. The "story" kept repeating itself and got old too quickly.

Death note is the ultimate "beginner anime" that is also great for people who aren't new to the medium
Story: 10/10
Much more unique than the typical series on shonen jump, and it does it excellently.
Characters: 10/10
The Cast isn't huge, but it makes sense since it's a mystery/drama series.
Every character is polished, well done, and has fantastic conclusions.
Plot: 10/10
Since it's a thriller/mystery/suspense series it makes sense to have a rich and complex plot.
and it does it fantastically with the characters and their actions.
I really don't care what you say about the second half of the series
... really overhated and still better than most shonen manga out now.
Ending: 10/10
Again, I really don't care what you say about the ending, and it was the perfect one for light's character.
Art: 8/10
The character designs themselves are really good, but the costumes and clothes don't hold up that well.

Yuyu Hakusho: an exact definition of a masterpiece

Story: 9/10
The story follows a high school punk named Yusuke Urameshi after he dies trying to save a boy.
this might not sound as good, but it goes crazier than that, it goes deep down into the world of the manga.

characters: 9.5/10
one of the best main casts I've ever seen in anime and manga, The protagonist Yusuke Is extremely likable.
The deuteragonist (sort of) Hiei is another fascinating character in his own way.
The female lead Kurama is a better version of every shounen manga failed female lead
Yusuke's rival Kuwabara is a bit of an "I'm just there" in a ... lot of the series, but he still gets his fair shair of time, just not as much as the others.

Arcs: 10/10
easily the strongest side of the series, the series starts off a bit slow with the detective saga, but then quickly builds up to the best tournament arc in anime, and one of the best shounen arcs in general.
then the series slows a bit down for around 15 chapters and quickly reaches one of the series' peaks in the last two sagas.

fights: 10/10
the fight choreography is genuinely one of the best.

overall: 10/10
Yuyu Hakusho is still a series that is worth checking out today even if it seems a little dated on the outside but trust me it isn't.
the amount of manga it influenced is just insane.

Vagabond is easily one of the most critically acclaimed manga of all time, considering it doesn't have an anime adaptation, which in my opinion doesn't even need one. the manga is so fantastic by itself already.

story: 10/10
probably one of the best storytelling in manga/fiction ever in my opinion.
the way that the story revolves around Musashi and his journey, and changes through time, is fantastic.

art: 10/10
if the art doesn't convince you to read the manga, nothing will in my eyes.
the world building is just fantastic, told through the story and the art too.
every character looks polished and fantastic, probably one of the most consistent ... art styles in manga ever.

characters: 10/10
vagabond is a story that revolves around characters, every character is amazing and the dynamics between them are so good.

fights: 9/10
while vagabond has one of the best fights in anime and manga, that's not the point of the story, not at all.
the fights are fantastic with amazing paneling but if you want to read vagabond solely for the fight scenes, please don't. it is not the point of the manga

arcs: 10/10 every arc is absolutely necessary and entertaining, with fantastic character development through the time.
the most consistent manga that I have ever read.

overall: 10/10 vagabond is an absolute must-read for anyone who enjoys seinen manga and historical fiction.

as of this moment I'm writing this, there are 99 chapters out.
let me start this off with how great the artwork is. every devil/monster whatever you wanna call it looks great, and the main cast looks outstanding.
the plot is simple but effective and enjoyable.
the characters are really likable and the show isn't afraid to kill off characters, portray struggles, etc.
the fights are outstanding with great choreography and a lot of gore that makes it unique to a lot of new-gen shonen mangas out there.
this manga was so addictive I read it in one go for around 2 hours and enjoyed ... every second of it. I highly recommend it if you like bleach, Jujutsu Kaisen, demon slayer, monster #8, etc.
