Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou Suru: Level Up wa Jinsei wo Kaeta
We will call it "IseLeve" in short.
IseLeve's plot is about MC who can travel from Earth to a parallel world. Traveling to a parallel world that time has completely changed his life forever.
This anime contains some RPG systems such as skills, mana, and a status bar which makes it easy to understand the mechanics if you have played games or read some fantasy manga before.

characters which I considered to be good, it cannot compensate for this anime's flaws.
1. The protagonist's past life
The main protagonist is the victim of domestic abuse, violence, and bullying. I can understand that making the main protagonist's past tragic is important for the plot which makes the audience empathize with the main protagonist, but it is still too forced, and exaggerated. You can make the character's past tragic in many ways you want, but putting too much hate into your character doesn't encourage the audience's emotions. the plot doesn't state any reasons why he has to be treated like this or why he has to be hated by many people in his life. Are you going to tell me that he has been treated like this because he has that appearance? then why?
Therefore, you don't have any reason to empathize with the protagonist's past at all because it is unreasonable from the start.
2. Background's character
The background character tells us what the protagonist looks like in normal views, as most main protagonists can influence society. How do you say to the audience if that character is beautiful or not? Just let the background characters gossip and describe their appearances and beauties. But this anime has done this for six episodes consecutively! Using the same tricks too much only makes it too annoying! It is unnecessary to do this!
3. Logic of "Doing good things"
After the event that has changed MC's life, he has become famous, as he is handsome. He is kind, innocent, and willing to help others. When he does something good, other people do something good for the MC too. Do you know why this falls to be one of the flaws of this anime? It is because it's too optimistic and unrealistic. When you do something good, you might expect others to do the same thing to you, but everything is not what you want it to be. Doing good things can also lead to bad things. If you do good things to others, people might not give you anything at all. Not even a thanks.
To conclude, this is just another escapism Isekai as always. If you are always skeptical of details, then you will understand what I want to tell you. This is just an anime where MC always gets attention from everyone like a celebrity and he always has a scene to show off in front of those girls and then they will like him! it's just a story about a bullied loser who becomes handsome OP self-insert MC!
Maybe if MC never went to the parallel world at the start, his life would be the same and nothing would change.

Mahouka, I know you all like handsome OP MC who rarely expresses his feelings, stays cool in all situations, and is extremely smart.
As a fantasy and sci-fi anime, it offers us about "what If magic becomes science", which is good. I have no problem with it if you want to do that, but the result will be like this anime, it makes me scratch my head when they are yapping about the system. I have no clue what they are talking about.
Dislikes
- Magic with a scientific explanation makes it difficult to understand the concept.
- OP self-insert MC, makes Tatsuya too shallow, awkward, and

boring. At this point, you can say that he is dense not because he wants to be (if he has a reason, it would be good. You know, sometimes people always don't act like they want to, they might have a reason behind their faces. But only if you have a reason, doesn't make it valid. if the reason isn't logical, it would be bad.), but because the plot forces him to be.
- Miyuki is...annoying.
- MC has no personality, your friends are also the same.

I have watched this anime when I was 16. Now I'm a university student, watching this anime again gives me a different experience. It is boring. Watching this anime is like my eyes have a blue filter. Everything is green, white, black and blue.

This is one of the most slow-burn romance anime ever!
We got Seiyuu with an angelic voice, so I decided to watch this anime.
Although I bought Kubo-san Manga vol.1 and watched all episodes because of its reputation, it is not as good as you expect.
We got deadpan, dense with no personality MC. He has a supernatural power that can erase his presence, to the point that even normal people cannot see him even though he stands in front of them. I know that his presence or his atmosphere is so thin, which makes him nonexistent sometimes. I mean, what in the world that would

happen? Does this have a reason or any logical arguments behind this I am willing to learn it. This gap itself makes no sense. It makes MC nonexistent and he is literally NONEXISTENT. MC is just an everyman-type character who can be replaced by anyone. What is the point of having MC if he has disappeared or not doesn't affect the whole story? He rarely expresses his emotions, feelings, and thoughts. Each time he talks, I grab my phone and play games instead because his voice and his line make me want to sleep. It keeps uninteresting. The plot wants you to be unnoticed, so MC has to be like that? There is no contrast at all!
-This anime is typically "a loner who gets to know the prettiest girl in the school" plot.
-We have Kubo, a cute and beautiful, who is good at sports and education. She is just another "perfect and famous" girl who loves to prank MC, which is meh.
-You have a loner and the cutest heroine. It has a scene where MC can show his cool side. They have done many activities together and it seems like only the heroine is trying. Their relationship has no progress at all. Even their chemistry is forced and questionable.
-OP and ED are good.
-Character design is bland.
what seems to be good is it doesn't have a WET DREAM scene like Bokuyaba, Tonari Tenshi, or Sono Bisque which is good. If it has, I'm gonna cry and beg you to stop because it's cringe and unnecessary to show it to us.
If this anime is a food, then it would be a bland and flavorless dish that I refuse to eat again.

I know that I'm biased toward the Isekai trope, but this time I decided to give this anime a try.
then I'm disappointed. I find this anime boring, as the only thing that makes it interesting for me is the characters' voices. We have Natsuki Hanae, Sakura Ayane, Akari Kitou, Hayami Saori, Sawashiro Miyuki and more.
Music: it's ok. I don't find the music background annoying that much. OP and ED are...yeah (I skipped).
Character design: it's pretty bland. No one got a drip.
Character voice: it's great. We have a top-tier seiyuu (for me only) in this anime.
Worldbuilding: You know that many animes use concepts of "magic",
...
"mana", "status", "adventure guild", "elemental power" and "HP". This anime is no exception. I find a unique power system like "Nen" from HunterxHunter, "Chakra" from Naruto, or "Imaginary Energy" from the Honkai series interesting. then why is it interesting? because it represents a different system, different power, and different mechanics that don't stick on things I have mentioned which mostly came from video games. It is not wrong to use those concepts, but for me, using your system or your concept is more creative. I'm bored of seeing many isekai or fantasy anime use this kind of concept. This point reduces this anime's score.
To conclude, this is just another typical dense and op isekai protagonist. Mc side is always stronger than enemies and so on. If you want to watch this anime, you can watch Tensura instead because although it has "magic", "mana" and "elemental stuff", it is more fun and interesting to keep up with.
