The concept is good, the execution was horrible. (some spoilers ahead) .
The anime starts on a good note, as any apocalyptical anime/movie should start and the first 3 episodes, in general, are ok, but the main topic of the story gets lost after they join a cult, a famous YouTuber (?) enters the story, the kid that follows the family for no-reason (no background) never talks until the last scenes, the end up doing pot in some random place that for some strange reason has yet to be hit by the earthquakes?** (not sure how is this even possible), and some kid that speaks

The story in itself is very good the characters portray the sentiments between the lords of the lands, samurais and the common folk, in times of war and scarcity. This theme mixed with the folklore from the land gave birth to a unique story known as Dororo.
The art and story were unique, and it takes us down many different paths and to answer questions such as, what is humanity? should one person die to save the rest? can ones sacrifice be enough? and it make us see that love can take many different forms. ultimately, the anime is profound and one finds itself allying ...

This is a story that makes you think about the politics of society and how we live. The audience appreciate a two different points of view, and makes us wonder about how we live and how we let live. This story questions the morals and standards of society, who is right, who is wrong, why can't there be a middle ground for all of this.
I though this was a good story, I like it because like I said above, it questions our grounds as a society, not just for an specific society but us humans - our values and beliefs. Another aspect I enjoy about ...

I think this anime was not as good as it could have been. It shows great potential in the beginning, given some of the characters background, I think they could have elaborated more on them, (specially the fairy world) and give the story something more solid.
There are several reasons why I kinda dislike the story, one of the major one is that the main character seem to be out of it all the time, yes, at some point it was necessary and rather funny, but in general she seem to lack any motivation to figure out what was happening to her. Noragami is by far one of the best anime out there. The style, the story, the sound, the characters, they all very well portray. In my opinion, I really enjoy this anime, because it provides everything I am looking for in one, the laughs, the companionship, the message behind the story line, and it all comes in a rather unique style.
I really felt connected in some way with the characters and the story, it kept me progressively interested in the life of Yato and his past, everything was compelling: the battle scenes, the music, the storyline, the characters. I am a quick to ... |
