Kimi to boku is a very under rated anime, the music and the art create a unique atmosphere.
It is very nice to see, it may be a bit slow for some people but this reflects the realism you want to convey, the day-to-day life of a group of friends.
All the characters are very well developed, because all the history is about they, how they change over the years (or not), how they fall in love, the difficulties involved in growing and how they surpass them.
Definitely an anime that will make you laugh, nostalgia, sadness, empathy.
