* MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD *
A word of advice before entering this series, this show will give you trust issues, you will start suspecting everyone and will never make friends again. And with that in mind let's start this review.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni gou(referred to as gou) is your average harem with one dude in a school with 4 of his female friends. 1 tsundere, 1 girl overly obsessed with cute things(questionable definition of cute) and two lol... I mean young girls. How could thins show ever be interesting in the mountain of the harem that comes out every season, right?
WRONG
This show is anything but
...
cute, well there are some cute moments and all, but the main themes are never lost, which is of suspicion and fear of everyone. gou is a remake, or a better word would be reimagination, or a sequel(basically it does not follow the same story or outcomes) of the original Higurashi series which has 2 seasons and the 3rd season of 5 episodes, back in the 2010s. This show can be watched by new viewers, but I think it is more fun to watch it after watching the original series as some events occur earlier then the original and the ending are completely different from the original series.
STORY-9(spoilers)
Gou is a show which takes place in the small town of Hinamizawa, which is a mysterious town in which every year on the cotton drifting festival, 1 person dies and 1 disappears, the protagonist Maebara Keiichi moves to hinamizawa from the town due to undisclosed reasons, where he meets 4 girls and becomes friends with them. All seems fun and happy, till the cotton drifting festival, where the shit goes down. And it goes down like hell, with various unprecedented situations occurring one after the other with no apparent reason. I really like the story of Higurashi which is not too much of horror(I am not very good with horror), but more phycological and suspenseful, so you should definitely give it a try.
ART-8
I find the art to be better than that of the original series, not sure if this is my personal opinion cause I like newer animations. the character designs are done so well that they can adapt both for the cuteness of the characters as well as the scary faces and expressions.
SOUND-8
The sound seems better and more diverse as compared to the original series, with perfect timing for the serious scenes and the fun scenes and a good cut for when they get serious. The series is much scarier with the changing sounds and silence.
CHARACTERS-9
There is no point in talking about the characters since that would ruin the fun, so rather just expect unique character traits.
ENJOYMENT-9
I am really enjoying Gou and can't wait to see how this series changes and grows from the original series.
OVERALL-9
Whether you are a newbie or an old viewer of Higurashi, you should expect some good scares and chills up your spine, cause this is a show that will make you look out your window to see that no one is spying on you.

Believe me, I have seen a lot of isekai and most of those shows have the same exact theme with some slight change which is negligible, but even so knowing how generic and bland it all was, I wouldn't get completely bored. So, obviously I didn't have much of a different expectation of the isekai that were coming out this fall. Well, 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru(100man for short) is different.
There isn't any significance mentioning the plot since it is almost the same as other isekai other than that they can return to earth. The main appeal of this show is
...
that the protagonist isn't a wussy soft hearted baby. Instead, this guy thinks of this world as a game and doesn't care two shits if they get killed or kidnapped or whatever. I am glad to see an anime of this type cause I was bored of all those simple and pure dudes getting isekaied. And it doesn't seem like he had a weird trauma or such, but rather it's his nature to be edgy and uncaring. At one point, he did something genuinely nice and then the next day, he's back to being edgy. All the other characters seem to be traumatized or bullied. Nothing new there.
Well, all we can do now is wait to see how this show shapes itself and how the MC will behave throughout and I am having fun watching this show.

* CONTAINS SPOILERS IN PARA 2*
Dungeon ni deai wo motomeru no wa machigatteiru darou ka(Danmachi for short) is NOT a show about a chad OP protagonist going into dungeons and saving helpless girls and them adding them to his harem. No, it is rather about a nice, naïve and pure boy named Bell Cranel who was more or less helpless in the start and slowly and steadily grew both in strength and mentally. Well ,if you are reading this review, you have probably watched the first 2 seasons and know all this, so let's get into this season.
(spoilers)
The story starts right off the bat in
...
this season with a wyvern(a type of monster) named Wiene who possesses intelligence which was thought impossible until then. Instead of killing it, bell takes it home since he is a nice and pure little boy. This is where the problem starts: monsters have killed many humans and vice versa which has created a strong hate between and humans and monsters and no one is ready to accept a monster in society which is shown in ep 2. So, how will Bell and the Hestia family protect and help Wiene be accepted by society.
This season seems to be continuation of last seasons 'who to save and help', but taking it one level up. Last season where it was a prostitute who were shown despised by heroes, but weren't exactly criminals. But, now it is monsters who have shed the blood of thousands of people, are they really worth saving? I have watched 4 episodes and I can say that this season is distinctly different from the other 2 in the way that, this season has a much more serious and heavy undertone. The show still has its gags but the impending fear and responsibility is shown.
their isn't much to say about the art. It's the same as always and I must say that I like the art style of Danmachi in it's bright and beautiful world.
The OST is nice and it sticks to you as you listen to it more, not so sure about the ED(didn't really listen to it)
OVERALL
i am really excited on how this arc will develop and how they will overcome this problem and so far I am really enjoying it.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS THE SECOND SEASON OF MAHOUKA KOUKOUSEI NO RETTOUSEI, SO ONLY IF YOU HAVE MANAGED TO SURVIVE THE FIRST SEASON AND WANT TO SUFFER SOME MORE, WATCH THIS SEASON( I am suffering a lot)
sigh....... I for the love of god can't got interested in this goddamn show and it's not like I am very conservative with my anime preferences, I enjoyed and highly rated many unpopular anime. I have tried so hard, and had so much hope for when I first started watching it, but all that hope was drained out by ep 5. This time I had come back with some
...
new hope( didn't have much of it tho), I thought that the season 2 must have some really interesting stuff if they are going to adapt it, right?
WRONG
By the end of ep 2, I was done with this show, so you might be wondering why am I still watching it. It's my challenge for the fall, to watch this whole show and I plan to finish it( i think).
The story is about some American coming to investigate the 'incident that occurred in Japan, and coincidently there also seems to be a crime syndicate that has suddenly gone active. Nothing catching my interest here.
I hate the art of Mahouka(it could be a big reason why I hate the show too), none of the characters have any life in them and lack a lot of facial emotions.
The characters are boring af, with no unique personality or habit that seems amusing or has any interesting features. I couldn't give 2 shits about Onii sama or any of the other over powered people.
I am not planning to recommend this show to anyone and for the safety of my own sanity hope that this show would get better in the future episodes.

* SPOILERS IN SPECIFIC PARAS *
After the shitty rom-com anime that came out in Summer this year, I am glad to find some good quality wholesome stuff. It's been a really long time since something this fun came out and I am all for it.
STORY-7(spoilers)
This show is about a really smart kid named Nasa who gets bullied a lot for his name. I am sure we have all been there at least once. So, since this guy has been studying his whole goddamn life, he never had a girlfriend. And on one fated evening, he meets a really cute girl and instantly decides that
...
he wants to go out with her and then loses all his senses and starts crossing the road. A truck come along and he basically would be dead if this girl didn't save him. Now, this guy after being saved asks the girl if she will go out with him and she answers that she will....... if he marries her first. He readily agrees and passes out and when he wakes up at the hospital she isn't there. He then doesn't meet her for 2 years, when suddenly one day she shows up. I had a good laugh when I watched this transpire on ep 1.
ART AND ANIMATION-8
The art style is nice and fits in well with the way the story is shaped to be very cutesy, So, obviously there is not much sexualization of characters and nothing else being noteworthy in the animation.
SOUND-9
Holy flippin moly, this show has one really good OST. Even if you don't watch the anime I highly recommend you to watch the OST ( It's not a slow love song, but a rap). The voice acting has been done well to fit the role of the characters.
CHARATERS-8
To cleanse your mind of the scum of society and the world which is Kazuya, this season we have been blessed with this great MC who is smart, understanding and doesn't have his mind in the fricking gutter and doesn't fap all day. He is so chad that he asks the girl he asks a girl out while he is bleeding a fountain from his head and is running on 100% adrenaline and the girl even accepts(somewhat). This guy doesn't have any weird thoughts and is over the moon when he holds hands. So, yeah if you are still recovering from Kanojo Okarishimasu, this is the show for you.
ENJOYMENT-9
I am really enjoying this anime and for the 23 mins that I watch it I have a smile on my face, no complaints here.
OVERALL-8
You should definitely give this anime a try with an open mind and not be too constricted by common understanding and beliefs. This is anime, where we have fun with unimaginable circumstances and fun moments.

How long has it been.....
I have waited 4 years, 4 FLIPPIN' years, for this show to get a sequel, and now finally in the spring of 2020, no scratch that, due to some unforeseen circumstances *ahem* this show has been postponed to summer 2020. Well, this show is finally out and after watching 8 ep I can wholeheartedly say that this was sooooooo worth the wait.
this season, we straight up jump into the meat of the matter with Rem being ummmmm, forgotten(again) due to one of the Sin Archbishops, lye representing gluttony and Subaru and Emilia delving deep into the Sanctuary to retrieve the viillagers
...
and Roswaal.
What's new this season is that we seem to be moving towards our main plot of this show: Subaru's powers. We meet Echidna and Subaru has an amusing conversation with her, we learn more about Subaru's past and what kind of an otaku he was.
" I know hell
I've seen it many times
I am the only one who needs to know hell "
This quote here encapsulates Subaru's motivation and desire to reach that happy ending with everyone and not have anyone else suffer. In season 1, we see Subaru understand his power and use it to help people around him, but that was a time when he was a real dumbass, who would do things explicitly stated not to and not care about cconsequences. But this season is trying to show that Subaru has developed and learned from his past mistakes and grown, if even a little, as a person.
Well, I didn't have much to say, but if you liked season 1, then you will like this even more and if you didn't watch this show yet, then what the hell are you doing, go watch this show right now cause this is one of the greatest isekai fantasies there is.

Honestly, I wasn't really planning to write a review for Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Kan (or Oregairu 3 for short) since any review that comes out after the 2nd ep gets buried in the abundant supply of mixed review for the show, but after watching 9 episodes I must say that I have very strong belief that this is not the greatest season.
I was a big fan of oregairu after watching the 1st season, it had light comedy with the impeding strong story and drama of the characters which was further explored in the second season and this season aims
...
to put a satisfying end to this long story. My main problem with this season is that the prom arc is not as interesting or entertaining as all the other arcs, I mean I get that the show is trying to set a melancholic setting as a strong and tough decision needs to be made, but I feel like I am losing the connection I had with Hachiman. Other than that the show seems to be finishing the main stuff and saving the last episodes to put the final touches on this complicated relationship and end this show ranging 3 seasons. If you are here without watching the other seasons first, then what the hell are you doing. This show is a must watch, and I reccomend you to definitely watch this show.

Do you love yourself them heist movies, the brains and ideas behind all the planning, the gush of adrenaline when they pull off the final plan, and the satisfaction of pulling it off like you are part of the team. Well, then Great Pretender is just for you, it's got all the above and back stories on our main characters in short(5-6 episode) stories of different heists.
The story telling in this show is great with good time lapses of the present with the characters' pasts. the art style may not be to everyone's liking, but it is definitely unique and very bright and picturesque.
...
Wit studios was not high when it chose this collaboration with Netflix instead of doing the 4th season of AoT. the sound and the OST sync in well with the heist setting and it is not too serious to make you bored.
It is a good package and I definitely suggest you to watch this

All the reviews I have read for this show tells that this is the same isekai formula getting reprinted and shown, and I don't think that they are necessarily wrong. there isn't anything unique about the plot or a very gripping story line.
But I don't think people get that this is supposed to be a parody of a overpowered af hero who gets reincarnated and beats the shit out of everyone easily. If taken in that sense it is a light comedy meh level fight anime, but that is not necessarily bad.
The show has a good art style and the sounds blend in well with
...
the animations and a well made OST that you would listen to.
Is this the anime of the year????? No, not by a long shot.
is it worth watching for the fun and laughs. yes, it is.

I am writing this review after watching 8 ep of Kanojo, Okarishimasu and don't expect much change to happen in this series for the remaining episodes. If any noteworthy changes have occurred, I will edit this review.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm......... This show is your very average rom-com anime with a average story. if you are looking for a heartwarming story with great meaning, this is NOT for you.
But, if you want a laugh and some mindless comedy, then go ahead and watch this. The animation and sounds are fine and the girls are somewhat cute(with no one but mizuhara possibly best girl) but there is zero character in
...
our main protaganist. This man be blander than bread and the most mopey weepy asshole ever.
Despite all these obvious flaws I found this series to be a fun watch and will definitely not watch second season(hope I didn't jinx it).
