I had a little of prejudice towards this anime. After watching so many Isekais, I was kinda dispirited. I decided to give it a try after the commotion it created, about false accusation of rape. It happens in the first episode, but the first episode has 40+ minutes. If it were 2 episodes of 24 minutes, there would be a real chance that I could have dropped Shield Hero in the first episode. It was a really good decision of the staff to make the first episode a special of 40+ minutes. By doing this they managed to comprise the core of the narrative in
...
the first episode, and by doing so, making the viewers bite the bait to watch how it will develop. About the commotion it created, false rape accusation is not something new. From the beginning of western civilization (which condemns rape), there were many cases that woman in position of power used the demoralizing effect that rape accusation has to destroy the life of enemies. The most famous case is in the Bible, when Joseph rejected the sexual assaults from the wife of his boss Potiphar. She, frustrated and enraged, teared her clothes and accused Joseph of trying to rape her, leading him to jail. Shield hero makes use of this classical narrative to enrich its plot, making it grounded in reality. There a limited variety of human situations, and the classical stories, from the bible, to Greek Theater, to Shakespeare, etc, approach all of these. Shield Hero innovates not by creating new plot elements, but by mixing those classical elements in a very modern and popular trend in japan, that is Isekai. This attempt starts really well, and for about 20 episodes it works perfectly fine in holding the viewer's interest. There are also elements that connect the plot to the real drama of escapism in modern society, mainly in japan. For example, the way that the main character Naofumi looses his joy in living after being set up in a scheme made by the princess, and after some time he regains it by interacting with a demihuman girl (very cute, btw, Raphtalia) reinforces the idea that foment groups like mgtow, hikikomori and otaku, that real women are bad, and only unreal (such as 2d) women are loyal, lovely and ultimately good. This platonic line of thought, exalting what is imaginary and despising the reality, is deeply rooted in anime, prevents most of anime from being real art. Being it a isekai, I should not expect something different than this. This escapism is the core of isekai genre.
As the plot unfolds, Naofumi has to face the hardships of being considered a rapist, being secluded by society. To endure such a miserable life, he develops a shell of villainy and emotionless behavior. This is a coping mechanism that many of us can adopt in face of bad situations that hurts ourselves. Facing the dilemma of existing good and evil, but only evil seems to being appearing to us, we negate the existence of good, as it just a illusion. We act as we have no emotions, because if we had them, we would be sad, and being sad is unpleasant. If there is no good, evilness is just the normal. There is no reason to fell disgusted by it. We just have to accept it, waiting until the portion of evil due for us is delivered and the day of death arrives. This is the main cause of the nihilistic behavior of Naofumi. The author gets it right by not doing it a object of desire to the viewers. That kind of character defect is constantly placed as the "badboy" archetype, such as Sasuke, of the show Naruto. Trying to imitate this kind of character is actually to impoverish your soul by sticking to a cheap gnosis. What is well valued in the plot is the development that Naofumi has in leaving this gnosis and reacquiring his joy.
As for the context in which Naofumi is, he is one of the 4 cardinal heroes that have to save the world. As he is secluded by the rest of them, he trains by his own and gets much stronger then the rest of them. The others are portrayed as useless, arrogant and weak warriors. Even the Sword Hero, that has some qualities, is relegated to a position of caricature. This makes the "Shield Hero always saves the day" kind of feeling that impoverishes the plot. The Sword hero, at least, should start after sometime being useful, and a true companion for Naofumi. Maybe that happens in the second season (hoping there is going to be a second season).
Another problem of the plot, and that's the main reason why I gave it a 9, is that the whole situation of injustice that the protagonist suffers is solved some episodes before the last one, ep. 25. So it means that the story keeps developing after that fact, even more in the original source, the Light Novel. The atmosphere of seeking for justice and cleaning his name was the core of the narrative and most people started watching and got caught by this element. After this situation is solved, Shield Hero seems to become just one more cliché isekai, like many others. I realize this is not a fault from the staff of the anime, unless they wanted do create a original ending, terminating all hopes for a second season. That being said, this story would be better if, instead of having his name cleaned in the same Kingdom of Melromarc that betrayed him, the author should have kept the parallelism with the story of Joseph. Joseph were betrayed by his siblings, sold to slave traders and carried to Egypt. There, after the false rape accusation, he became governor of Egypt, a different country than his. And them his brothers come to Egypt asking for help and he can finally confront them. Inspired by that, I would prefer that Naofumi, instead of solving his situation in the Kingdom of Melromarc, he could go to another country, possibly being betrayed there again, but then solving all the problems and becoming very important and powerful, as for example in the Kingdom of Siltvelt, a country of demihumans that worships the Shield Hero. After some time, the Kingdom of Melromarc, that has just useless heroes, would need the help of Naofumi, and then all the lies would fall apart and Naofumi would clean his name there too. This could be in the context of the last wave, fusing the last and epic battle with the climax of the plot, that is justice being made. For me this would be the ideal plot. But it may be asking too much from a isekai.
Another thing that annoyed me is the ending that princess Malty had. She should have been sold as a slave, have a arm ripped out, or something like this. She suffered very little.
About the art, in general it was consistent and pleasant. It's not a super production, such as the first season of One Punch Man (that I consider a 9) or Violet Evergarden (that I consider a 10), but there is no deformation in animation, the battle scenes are fluid and the characters have good quality in facial expressions and style. The soundtrack lacks variety and good timing. The director doesn't seem to know when to play a song that carries thriller, or rage. Most of the time the soundtrack is blanket, not appealing at all. there were times the direction got it right, as in the battle that happens from episode 19 to 21. Epic music was played, conveying to the viewer the action.
This little flaw in terms of sound didn't had a great impact in how I enjoyed this show. In general, it is one of the best Isekais ever made. I have never been so attached to the characters of a isekai anime as I have in this anime. The plot is made in a way that you feel avenged after every situation that the protagonist triumphs. I recommend this anime for everyone.

Story: the story is divided in 4 arcs, but the main theme remains in all of them: a romantic relationship development between a female teacher and a male student, involving a lot of acidental erotic situations. And this anime excels in creating those sexual incidents. There wasn't even a single episode that I haven't applauded when seeing a completely new way of creating a sexual situation out of nothing. I thought that To Love-ru was the master in this matter, but I was wrong. Adding to this, the stories that lead to the romantic development of the couples are actually very cute and humorous. Watching
...
it really makes you happy. The pacing of the plot is good, not too rushed, given that the episodes are only 12 minutes long, the staff made a good job. Each arc is unique in its own terms, giving to the viewer different choices of taste. Most people will feel empathized with at least one situation, and cheer for their favorite couple.
Art: The main focus of this series in terms of art is the female body. In this matter, this anime is great. The fluffiness of their bodies makes you believe that 2d girls are real. It makes you wish that every anime had cute teachers like these.
Sound: The soundtrack is remarkable. When I remember a moment of the anime when a student is surprised by finding his teacher in a unusual situation, the soundtrack automatically starts playing in my mind. It is so well done and matches perfectly to the situations.
Character: Each male protagonist has personality, not being too indecisive or naive. When the time arrives, they act as true males. As for the females, they all are perfect in their own way. The one I most liked is the teacher of the first arc, but I also liked the third one, even though i didn't like the 3rd arc itself, since I'm not a fan os shotacon. But in general they are all lovely and unique.
Enjoyment: As I've said before, I applauded every episode, and laughed a lot. The comic situations constantly overcomes your expectations.
Overall: This one of the best short ecchi animes ever produced. It is a must watch for any appreciator of ecchi anime.

Story:
The story seems very cliché, as we have seen in many animes girls from another planet/dimension/age fall from heaven to make the life of a virgin protagonist a little brighter. Then it naturally develops to a harem as another girls start to appear. This show's exactly it, exploring major fetishes, such as lolicon, milf and trap. The geniality of this show is to use it as a symbol of corruption of the traditional man. As nobunaga-sensei is actually the reincarnation of the old Daimyo Nobunaga, he represents the traditional man. But in this modern world where masculinity is repressed all his qualities are underutilized and
...
he becomes a 30 year old virgin. The appearance of girls from another age represents his earnests desires of finding a traditional, but unreal, woman. But every girl that happens to be in his harem has a situation that makes it impossible for him to have his way with them, such as age, or being his student. The only possible legal match, that is his colleague teacher, seems to hate him. His situation develops in a way that leads to him only having sexual contact with another man, that is a trap. His development with the trap surpasses all the development that he has with another girls. This tries to play with the myth of homosexuality being a high social relation common to great man in the past, such as Alexander the great. The goal to this is to make rejected man, that are each time more excluded from love as the male competition grows by the lack of wars and male deaths, starts to engage in gay relationships.
art: the art is ok, mainly in terms of titties.
sound: very generic. fine
characters: the main loli is cute.
enjoyment: guilty pleasure kind of enjoyment
overall I would only recommend it to people that want to fry their brains.

When I started watching Hitoribocchi at Marumaru Seikatsu I thought I would not like this anime very much. That is because this “slice of life” anime genre with cute little girls reminded me of K-ON (although I know there are conceptual differences between them, since K-on is music-themed), an anime I have a little problematic relationship. Luckily, I was wrong and what has been given to me was an enriching experience in terms of entertainment and spiritual and philosophical understanding. Firstly, talking about the environment in which the story unfolds, the anime focus on the interaction of girls living their daily routine. This premise usually
...
bothers me, since it excludes men, making it a poor clipping of the reality’s structure. However, by watching this anime I was able to understand a little more about the process of narrative construction and about human nature too. The male gender is associated with conflict and violence. This is a mere consequence of testosterone. Stories that have many male characters usually involve fights for dominance, fights over love relationships, etc. Even in Harem animes, when there is a male protagonist and many female characters, the male character is the epicenter of all the woes of the plot, the center of contention of the girls, the object of desire. To create a slice of life anime, in which the viewer feels constantly comfortable and free of worries, actually removing the presence of men is a good choice. Throughout the anime, even in times of tension and trouble, I still felt confident that everything would work out and be okay. Speaking of the premise of the story, the focus is the struggles that Hitori-san faces to overcome her social phobia, to leave loneliness and to make friends. The comic situations are shown are clearly exaggerated, as it should be in any comedy, but anyone with at least some degree of shyness or social anxiety can feel identified in the situations that the main character lives. The challenge of making friends in a new place, that you do not know anyone, is easily relatable. As Hitori-san's self-development story unfolds, she is able to make friends, and each of them has some sort of social problem too (as one of them is a delinquent, the other is clumsy, another is a foreigner, etc.). All of those characters who interact with Hitori-san watch her struggles and feel inspires by it, also having their own development too. This is not done in a cliché way, with flashbacks, excessive crying and exaggerated dramas, but in a subtle and silenced way that only the attentive spectator can perceive. Another banquet that this anime offers to the experienced viewer, who has a good collection of imaginative figures inside his mind, is the approach concerning the past of the characters. After all, people with social problems have those problems for a reason that are often either sad or tragic. It would not be different in this anime. However, throughout the plot, the past of the characters rarely is the focus, only being approached tangentially. From the few elements that are shown, the good viewer can see how sad it is, or it could be, the lives of the characters. The beauty of the plot of this anime is that the characters refuse to live looking to the past, and always live the present trying to get the best out of all the situations that they live concretely in reality. The fact that the past is ignored by the characters has given a new meaning to the saying "Ignorance is a blessing." Many have this saying as a message that it is better not to know unpleasant things, so that one can have a happy life. This interpretation takes into account only passive ignorance. This anime brings us a teaching about the value of active ignorance, which means choosing to ignore. Life becomes much more beautiful and meaningful when instead of remembering problems of the past and taking any elements of it that we could use as a justification for victimizing ourselves, we ignore it and we choose to live the present, taking the best of each situation to grow. This decision of the characters is what makes this animation a slice of life, not a cheap drama. The theme of the past only appears with more emphasis when it is Hitori-san's. A traumatic situation of her past is constantly remembered, not mainly as a source of sadness, but as a motivation to overcome challenges. We should ignore the things that have already passed that bind us to the past, but we must remember the ones that move us into the future. Hitoribocchi in Marumaru Seikatsu is an anime that teaches us to have a new perspective on life, also bringing with it a subtle wisdom that impresses the hearts that are open to enjoy fully the experience. It shows that we all can make in our daily chaos little moments of slice of life. All we have to do is to seize the day, carpe diem.
Adding to this spiritual experience, there is a generic, tranquil soundtrack, as expected from this anime genre. The art and design are consistent, showing beautiful characters, that although simple in design, are very expressive and done with good style. The backgrounds are also very well done, and the effects of illumination are a spotlight of this series in a technical matter. This show also delivers good laughs, due to a good comic timing. Considering everything that has been said, watching this anime is a highly recommended experience for anyone who likes anime.

Story: The plot has a good proposition about approaching the lives of people excluded from society who find in electronic games an outlet for their frustrations and together they interact to become better and better adapted human beings to the society that previously seemed extremely hostile to them. There was a great margin for the development of the characters, but this expectation did not materialize, either because of bad script choices, or because the original material was very large and this development would occur later. I think it should be the role of the director to be able to pick up elements of the story's
...
most advanced points in order to give a worthy conclusion to a short anime like that. So watching this anime is frustrating in many ways, with so many episodes being spent for literally no development.
Art: the design is OK. the choice of mouth design really annoyed me. I've never seen a mouth with only the lower lip. Really strange. The animation was not very smooth.
Sound: very generic.
character: probably the best item of the work is the conception of the characters. So watching Netoge becomes even more frustrating, since the development of these characters is very small. 12 episodes may not seem like much, but I've seen lots of animes doing a lot better than that with the same amount. My biggest frustration is with the development of the couple Rusian and Ako. The staff could have given an original ending in which she begins to better understand the difference between reality and games, and understands that Nishimura and Rusian are different persona, and that she wishes to be with Nishimura. This could occur in the episode that {irrelevante spoiler alert - Nishimura has his character hacked, and Ako starts to question herself what would it be of her relationship with Nishimura, now that Rusian is gone}. But the director missed the opportunity to do an original development starting from that point. A satisfying ending would be Ako and Nishimura beginning to date like real people in the real world, with a kiss to give it a good ending. But the element of romance seems to have been cast aside in terms of the development of the plot, and has become only a comic element for the show. And this was unforgivable.
Enjoyment: At the beginning I enjoyed it. From episode 8 onwards it was just disappointment and frustration. The staff has chosen as a climax point a in game event, vaguely related to a real life event, that is the cultural festival. The climax point should be a real life event. It would give much more meaning to it.
Overall I don't recommend this anime to anyone, unless it is a person desperate for a anime to watch, and have watched every anime I have watched that i think it's better than this one. This is a classic exemple of anime that it would be better if it had not followed the original material (LN)

Overlord is a anime that breaks established standards of isekai anime in any ways. First of all, the main character Momonga is placed as a villain of the plot. Not that he is actually evil, but his character in this world is evil, so he has to adapt to act as such. Also, the character itself starts to change the persona of the player, and that symbiotic relation is very interesting. For exemple, he wants to do good things, but because he is evil, he can't do it exactly well behaved, but instead has to find evil and egoistic purposes to substantiate his actions. The
...
background of the main character is also very unique. Left alone by his old companions that have abandoned the game, solitude and loneliness are recurring themes throughout the work. Those emotions are the main fuel to the development of the plot, as he yearns to find his old friends, even if there is little to no chance to actually finding them. For this goal, he tries to make the name of their old guild (Ainz Ooal Gown) know all over the world. The execution of this plan involves drawing a lot of attention in either a good or bad way. This of course ought to bring challenges for the protagonist. those challenges are the main substance of this first season, as he struggles to make his name known. Considering how overpowered the protagonist is compared to all know characters of this new world he goes, we as viewers expect very epic battles, probably involving whole nations against the protagonist, but for this first arc of the anime, it's necessary to make the viewer know more about the world building and the side characters, to create more empathy for the cast. It's like a foundation of a building that doesn't draw attention of people, but is necessary for what comes after, the building itself. But this foundation arc is not uninteresting at all, and the interaction between the protagonist and the side characters dwelling in his fortress Nazarick is the main reason for that, as it is a element that makes this anime very original. These characters were originally npcs created by Momonga and his companions players. Now that they are actual thinking beings, they treat Momonga as a godly kind. for them, he is a superior being, as the original creator gods, and the last one of its kind, as the other players, members of this pantheon, have disbanded. That makes all those characters to live in a semi-gnostic situation, as they can't say "god has abandoned us" but they can say "every god has abandoned us, except for one, that may like the others come to abandon us", with is a terrible edge to live on. Even if there is a lot of comedy situations throughout the anime, the themes of solitude and gnosticism gives to it a dark atmosphere that helps the viewer to immerse in the plot. That being said, the categories are:
Story: The story to this point (end of season I) involves little arcs of side quests needed to create the initial development of the plot. Those little arcs are well done, and brings to the viewer a good realism in which in life we can not go for our main goal during every second of our life, but instead many times we have to drift a little from the main course to solve other things, and than go back to the main course. All these experiences in apparently secondary challenges are important elements to arrive to your goals. Overlord teach us that. So i give it a 8, because it is well done, but the viewer can't yet catch a glimpse of the final goal.
Art: I miss so much the old times of studio Madhouse. They were really good. Even the use of CGI is kinda good, even though I hate it. 99% percent of anime CGI looks like it's rendered at 5fps, but in this anime it looks like 15fps. Not perfect, but great. If it wasn't for this, I would give it a 9. But a 8 it is.
Sound: The sound track helps a lot in creating this dark theme around Overlord, without making it to melancholic, as it is a comedy too. The team has found a good balance of seriousness and lightness. But it's not like I would have this soundtrack to hear in my cellphone, as it is not that memorable. So I give it a 8
Character: for everything I said before, like how the interactions between the creator and it's creatures are a main element of the series, I give it a 9. It's not a 10 because I can't see a full personality in the characters but only cutouts. But good cutouts.
Enjoyment: As it can be read above, this series has everything to make the viewer very amused. So it is a 9
Overall, I give it a 8 because I considere a 8 every anime that I highly recommend to anyone I know that has some experience in the anime universe. It may not be interesting for some one that has not ever watched a anime, but the beauty of this anime is how it contrasts in relation to other animes, mainly in the isekai genre. It is guaranteed a unique experience that brings a more mature and deeper view of being in a isekai world.

Story: The core elements of the story, being mainly the social interactions between members of the seitokai, are the usual recipe to slice of life/comedy anime, as people that watched seitokai yakuindomo would know very much. Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai follows that pattern and purpose, but excels in the execution. It does so by adding romance and mind games in a rather clever way that makes the viewer cheer and support the main characters on their goals of surrendering the other one. The background story of the characters is also very well made and make us empathize with them. Each one has their struggles and
...
sufferings. The only thing I criticize about the story is also one of the motivations it won a 10 for enjoyment for me, and it is that "capitularized", "short-story divided" way that the story is told to the viewer. Separating it in individual small funny situations kind of forecloses the development of the story and also the personal maturation of the characters. It is made that way so you can watch a single episode alone and laugh at it, and appreciate it. I understand. But it's kind of frustrating that the Shirogane Miyuki from 9th episode is almost not different from the Shirogane Miyuki from the 1st episode. I realize that 12 episodes may be too less to show some decent development, but comparing the first season of OreImo ( a show I really like ), the show made me laugh but also shown deep maturing of the characters, a substancial development. I missed a little bit of it.
Art: The art is sensational. A person that have watched many animes can see that staff has put some good effort in it. For a short comedy anime like this, it shows that the staff itself has felt in love with the anime, and was having fun producing it. They put a lot of attention to the minimal details, not only concerning to art, but sound and direction too. The diference in design and style from the mainstream 2010s anime art is very noticeable. the shape of the face, the illumination on the eyes... everything feels original and exclusive. The smoothness of the animation, how the frames flow.. even though it isn't a action anime, the animators didn't spared frames.
Sound: From the opening theme to the ending theme, going through the whole soundtrack, there is not a single time that the viewer will not feel immersed in the flow of storytelling. Talking about storytelling, the storyteller has a deep importance in the whole experience of watching this anime. without him, it wouldn't be as funny and as interesting. The use of this narrating tool helps placing us on a third person spectator viewpoint, giving some distancing from the situation, allowing us to laugh of their misery without emotionally getting too involved in a way we would not laugh as much.
Character: the characters are perfect: a diligent poor guy, a rich naive former-emotionless woman, a child minded retarded girl and a antisocial (probably channer) otaku. Each one has it's own background, except from chika. She just existis to make shirogane and shinomiya plans go wrong. The joker factor. That is really important in the context of mind games and very well calculated schemes, because her stupidity brings the random factor back to the game. The show itself admits that whole of unpredictability that she has.
Enjoyment: It made me laugh a lot. that's the only thing that's needed to say.
overall: I recommend it for everyone. There are many cases when the anime is not very good, so you have to think about a group of people that may like it. But that's not the case of Kaguya-sama. Everyone can watch it and appreciate it.

Story: The story is very interesting in it's way of going against some clichés very common in this genre of anime. When people read the anime is about a guy involved in a love triangle with his two step-sisters, people think about anime like kiss x sis, or some harem ecchi generic anime, in which the guy is indecisive, always being attacked by other girls trying to seduce him, and he flirts with everyone and all the girls seems to be ok with it, and so on. This anime is totally different, trying to bring a more realistic approach to this popular concept. The guy
...
looses his virginity in a very trashy way (1st episode), and then he finds out that her beloved one is not as pure as he thought (i'm being generous here), and then a situation that should be paradise (having 2 hot step-sisters living with you) becomes a rather troublesome situation, almost provoking divorce of their parents... It is by all means a modern tragedy, as it is now. Of course it is needed to know the end to assure that, but no way it is a comedy. The story ends in a quite open way, of course caused by the lack of episodes available to complete the story, also because the original material (manga) is still on going. But I have to congratulate the director of this anime for finishing it in a good way, even though i'm personally a hater of open ending, but the way he did is better than creating a crazy situation to end it completely there, as Ao no Exorcist made the anime community suffer. In general, it is a good story, that's not GREAT but it stands out among modern cliché anime.
Art: The art in Domestic na Kanojo is good. The style of drawing is the usual we see in post 2010 anime, but it is well made, mainly in terms of light incidence and brightness. The animation is also good, very fluid frames. The scenario is rich in details, in comparison to normal anime (not compared to Violet Evergarden or masterpieces like this). So if you are a exigent viewer in terms of art, this anime is approved and you won't get annoyed watching it.
Sound: Soundtrack in any part didn't catch out my attention. It means it is not bad, because it didn't annoyed me, but also means that it isn't very good, as it didn't leave me a deep impression. For me it is the part in the production that have less received effort.
characters: the main character is a normie guy like in any other highschool anime, but he is better than the usual set. He is decided in what he wants to do and in with who he wants to be with. He goes through a interesting path of personal maturation that is worth pointing it out. About the two sisters, the older one has some value as she has genuine human actions e motivations, not being idealized or exaggerated. The youngest is just an usual "blue haired emotionless kudere" that we all know since ever (or 90s, thank you gainax for evangelion).
Enjoyment: I enjoyed this anime quite a lot, because it approaches a context that I'm used to watch in animes I like in a different way, being more mature and realistic. I wouldn't classify it as a seinen experience, but in the middle way between shounen and seinen. It may be a good enrichment of imaginary capacity for youngsters in theirs late 10's.
Overall, I recommend it to everyone that has watched a lot of animes with love triangle, and goofy protags... and has being sick of it, and desperately needs to escape from wishful thinking dimensional prison. There it is your first door: Domestic na Kanojo. Many others lays ahead, but you gotta start somewhere, and why not this one?

Introduction to the analysis and review:
"guilty pleasure" simply is not enough to describe the feeling of watching this peace of cr*p. I felt i worth less as a human being during each episode I watched. The cliché story, the pathetic animation and character design, the ridiculous way the situations developed.. everything felt as the staff was mocking at the spectator. And yet, I could not stop watching. This may be a show for masochists. I'm sure of it. so let's talk about the individual elements:
Story: It is a cheap copy of Eromanga Sensei, the diference is that the main character is a failure, instead of
...
a well succeeded writer, and that the imouto is a real imouto, not a step sister, and she is a good writer, instead of being a good drawer. Exception to it, it's completely equal in idea, but much worse in execution: petite little sister that is shy and have obvious feeling toward the old brother, but only he doesn't realize, they together cooperate to write a light novel, and a lot of other girls that we know that will not end with the protagonist show up more and more in each episode, adding no relevant development at all... the only purpose is to create the feeling of lovecom and love triangle (or quartet, or quintet.. idk), and to have the tag "harem" in it. So don't expect nothing memorable from it.
Art: Do I really have to talk about it? well, i chose to write this, no one forced me to.. so.. It is the worse anime art and animation i have ever seen (no CGI included). I thought it was impossible to be worse than Pierrot's worst naruto episodes, but Studio NAZ has surpassed it. congratulations. And I thought that Hajimete no Gal was the worst that studio could do. I was wrong. deeply wrong. sorry. Just to describe this gore: there is an episode the animators forgot to change the position of the mouth after the head moved, and so the mouth stayed in the air, floating!!! the character designs were ridiculous, completely deformed, disproportional. the expressions were really dead, the only emotion i could feel from it was my own embarrassment for watching it, and even enjoying it.
sound: nothing that caught up my attention. some good seyuu.
character: almost every character is insipid. You can't feel empathy por none of them. the main character that we should feel attraction for, the anime doesn't give any fair reason for us to do so: the imouto. She is meant to be cute. and that is it. it could work if the art made she beautiful, but that's other matter. The main point is that she doesn't have any development as a human being. When we talk about inseki animes, the comparison to Oreimo is unavoidable, and the difference in "how we start to empathize with the character" is overwhelming. Kirino struggles in many things in life and relies on her brother to overcome those situations and grow. During this process the brother and also the spectator falls in love with her. In this anime neither the spectator or the brother falls in love with the imouto. it shows how shallow is the development. The only character worth mentioning is Ahegao Double Peace sensei. She has more plot than any other character, and legitimately makes you laugh. I wish I could say "she saves the serie" but it's not enough.
Enjoyment: That's the hard part. Because everything in this anime should be enough for me to drop it in the first episode. Exception to the "inseki" part. So it went on... and i felt really bad watching it. I felt my neurons were dying, and i was becoming more stupid, and that I was in a no return path. And it may be true. But I don't repent watching it. If not by the anime itself, but as a matter of self knowledge. By watching it I could remember how degenerated i'm as a human being, and that fact is always worth reminding.
Overall I just recommend this anime to the chosen ones that have went down the path of siscon animes and watched every single anime of this genre and thinks that can't go lower. Watch it and you will see you can. good luck

Story:
The story of this anime is fantastic in which it comes to address such an important and modern theme into a relaxed and interesting way. The anime deals with the castration of the modern man who needs to submit to humiliation before women, to obtain crumbs of affection and satisfaction. The work seeks to generate in the viewer a reflection on its condition, placing us in the whole of the protagonist in all covered situations, and does so based on the Gauss distribution curve, having in episodes 3 and 4, the central episodes, the peak, the apex of the discussion. In episode 3 the protagonist,
...
who is the spectator himself, is confronted by Christian morality, and before a representative of God, he, or we, present his, or our, sinful condition of lust. The nun, however, does not fulfill her role of having mercy, but humiliate us. This comes to demonstrate the distortion of the religious role in the lives of men who feel increasingly helpless and excluded from the Christian community. Women take on a prominent role and judge men in a cruel way. In episode 4, in contrast to the third, it shows the protagonist as a member of the Shinto clergy. This difference occurs precisely because of the villainous role that sexuality has in the Western Christian imaginary, whereas in the Orient, sexuality is viewed with greater normality, so a member of the clergy can possess these desires. In a way, the condition of the eastern man is better than that of Western man in modern society, and this anime manages to capture that. Episodes 5 and 6 correspond to the slope of the discussion. Not in terms of quality, but almost in a hypnotic effect of deepening the trance. While in episodes 1 and 2 the protagonist had a certain prominent position, in episodes 5 and 6 the protagonist is first a patient completely plastered on a hospital stretcher, and an impotent student submissive to his most primitive sexual impulses of puberty. In these conditions, the protagonists need to use their expertise in certain trivial recreational tasks to seek the achievement of their small romantic gains, which in anime has the symbolic value of "show the panties." This part shows the under utilization of masculine talents, limited to playful operations to solve games, that should be destined for the promotion of social stability, warlike superiority and the search for sanctity and technology. Men are metaphorically castrated, causing them to seek excellence in trivial things that fail to make it possible to conquer a partner, as in the past the result of duels, inventions, and so on would do it. Episode 1 shows the exception of naturally privileged men, but who are doomed to don't know what to do with all their arsenal of possibilities. Then the episode 2 approaches the subject of the illusion that the men put in themselves, of which they are in the path of conquering the feminine prestige. The viewing point of a fan club leader of an idol shows a role of excellence and leadership, but in a melancholy way, because the man is in a role of the Number 1 slave. He may be the best, but he is still a slave waiting for bread crumbs to fall from the table of their owners so he can it them.
All this themes could be shown in a melancholy or uninteresting way, but this work brings to us the possibility of achieving the acceptance of our condition, and self-knowledge through an amusing experience. When we understand that these crumbs do not satisfy us (and this is symbolized by the short time of each episode, which brings to the idea that they are small moments of happiness that soon go away), men can from that experience rise from their state of slavery and obtain redemption.
Art:
The art in this anime is absolutely astonishingly. The design of the characters, the ambient, the surroundings, the way that the first person viewpoint works... everything is just the way it should be. Every piece of fabric that rolls up and streches shows the meticulous work of the animators to create such a tension and anxiety sensation. The mixture of shininess and darkness that are interspersed throughout the situations of the anime on the looks of eyes of the women transmit to the viewer a unique feeling of disgust and nausea. All of the proposition of this anime should be in vain if the art would not complement it with mastery.
Sound:
Throughout the anime there isn't a single time that the viewer feels that the soundtrack is out of tune compared to the situation that is visually shown. The songs fit perfectly every time, giving a feeling of lightness and laziness of small everyday situations, having a role of attempting to hide the real tensions that are hidden in the soul.
Characters:
Every female character have been intensely developed to show the unique elements of human nature, and the human tendency of idealization. I have never watched an anime that can transmit the feelings of the characters through their facial expressions as that anime has done. It is overwhelming. Their is no escape of those feelings being transmitted. you got to accept them and digest them.
Enjoyment:
This anime plays with our inner desires and perversions, baiting us to see it more, almost in a masochist way, giving us for each bite, a whole more reality check of our despicable state.
Overall:
This is an anime made from men to men. It may be useful for some women so that they can see and understand a little of modern male suffering, though it is rather difficult to believe that most of them would be capable of this degree of empathy.
Because of the short time it takes to watch it, because of the wisdom it transmits, and for its overall quality, it is a "must watch" anime for every men.
