Since the other reviews are outdated and preliminary I feel that they don't capture the true essence behind the story. It is technically a spoiler but it is more about the overall plot of the book and not a specific moment.

As it is said in the other reviews it has comedy, charm and "fluffy stuff", but the most prominent is the sadness and hopelessness. With that in regard I would say that the story is the biggest thing this manga has to offer, the rest is just a plus. It has its cringe lines and what I would consider a slow/boring start but I think ... it is worth a read if you can handle and like sad stories.

+ MC is not afraid of killing (including humans)
+ Fan service
+ Scythe wielding MC
+ MC does not become a lap dog to the King/Lord in the first 5 chapters
+ Set and his interactions with the characters that like him
+ Satisfying retaliations

- MC has a inconsistent emotional range (this is the biggest con)
- Drawn out dialog sequences especially with the overload of information in the empire war arc
- Takes 70+ chapters to progress to the war arc only to end it in 10 chapters
... - Idk if the translation is just bad but som of the dialog does not even make sense

Overall, I would recommend reading it if you enjoy trash isekai, a lot of killing and busty female characters.

Why I don't like this anime:

* The anime keeps intruducing new characters every episode or so. There is no reason to add new characters that will only make it harder to follow.

* Ryou should have atleast gotten a slap or yelled at, but instead she just said sorry to one person and then everything was good again. Did not even thank the mc for helping the kids. (Almost made me stop watching the show)
...
* His sister did a total 180 out of nowhere and did not even say sorry. Always cold to him and thinking he hates her for no reason.

* This mc is a whimp of whimps, can't even yell at a someone. Pathetic!
