Jokes aside, im gonna try and do a serious review of a not so serious anime, can i even call it anime? ;-)

This is just my opinion and nothing else, if you disagree with me, that's alright. Everyone should have their own opinion on this and should be allowed to talk about it, so with that said, enjoy this review! :)


Story: 7/10

I dont know what i should tell you, the story exists, but its really nothing important for this anime, the world building is good in my opinion. I have seen better storys of anime and yet I've seen much more worse ... than this, you basically have this group of guys ducking some chicks and wandering around to duck em all. I still got my enjoyment out of it.


Art: 8/10

I know this sounds weird but i really like the art style of the anime and i ceartenly wont say that its not great in some „scenes”, but they just made it much more colorful in these „scenes”, which I personally dont dislike. I also like the landscapes in the anime, even if you dont see that many because it takes place in one spot most of the time.


Sound: 8/10

Ok, now if you've seen enough hentai, you know what I'll talk about. The voice acters did a very good job in my opinion, i mean try and voice act what they did, trust me you dont want to try this, they almost voiced a hentai. The op of the anime is basically a japanese version of YMCA and the ed i cant really explain but i like it both, so i think it deserves a 8/10.


Characters: 6/10

The main character is basically the brother of rance, he just has not much of a character to begin with, he has some opinions on „some” things but doesnt really show much personality or background story, the same goes for the other characters aswell, but to be honest, the anime really needs this kind of characters so i still gave it a 6/10.


Enjoyment: 9/10

If someone would ask me to tell them how much i enjoyed this anime i would probably say: "I actually really enjoyed it." And if it wouldnt be for the memes about the anime, it would have only been an 8. What really made this anime good to me was the theme it had, you dont often see an anime joking about sex, most ecchi animes are having a serios story and just have some boobs flying across the screen, and that didnt happen in this anime, they actually joke around it and actually showed some sex scenes without the intercourse, ehich i really didnt see in any anime before, its probably the fact that they actually give funny comments about each species of that you didnt even think about.


Overall: 8/10

Look, if you have some weird fetish or not, it all gets covered in this anime, everyone can enjoy it if you want to, if you start watching the anime with prejudice, you're not going to enjoy it, just start watching with an open mind and be ready for anything.

Many People say that Tenki no Ko (Weathering with you) is just a copy with the same story from Kimi no Na Wa (Your Name), but I disagree. I have Watched Both Movies and can say that These Movies are definitly not the same. In the following i will tell you why i think so.


Story: 8/10

I really liked the Story and think its Pretty good, but I believe that it could have had more to offer or explain certain things. The Story is similiar to Kimi no Na Wa (Your Name) ... but not the same. It has way more to offer than you think. Whoever likes a simple, heartwarming and sad Story that has a slow start and gets more and more heavier over the time, can definitly enjoy this movie to the fullest.


Art: 10/10

I know that some of you will disagree with me on this, but i think Tenki no Ko (Weathering with you) has some of the greatest Art out there. I really loved the Artstyle and Animation, it was astonishing and so much better than i had expected.


Sound/Music: 10/10

Lets talk About the sounds first. It felt really satisfying, as an example Hearing the raindrops hit the Ground, aswell as the voice acting (watched it in German, because thats my first language). I dont know if the voice acting is good in either Japanese or English, but in German it was Pretty amazing. When it Comes to the Music, it did a great Job. The Music felt really suitable for the Movie and sounds truly amazing, it really makes certain Scenes Pretty intense, sometimes really sad and underlines how important some Things are. I think the Music is in General one of the best Things i have ever witnessed in a Movie.


Characters: 9/10

Oh Boy, when it Comes to the Characters they did a great Job. You can actually feel with them and can put yourself in their spot and think like them. I only gave it a 9/10 because there are still some Characters that could have had more screentime or could have been better introduced, because they are important for the Story. Nonetheless its still an amazing Character writing and a very good Character introduction.


Enjoyment: 10/10

When it Comes to the Point of how much i Enjoyed it, i must say that i think its one of the best Anime Movies out there. Personally out of all the Anime Movies i have seen, this one is my favourite so far. I really felt with the Characters and even cried on some Scenes while watching. The Music and Sounds together with the Beautiful Art and the really heartwarming and sad Moments let me feel something i havent felt in a very Long time since i started watching anime.


Overall: 10/10

Overall i gave it a 10 because i think this is a masterpiece between all the Anime Movies. For me, this was the best Anime Movie i have ever seen and i think this wont Change in the future. I can highly recommend this to all of you, who are looking for a movie to watch.
