...then you might like Gosick add

Imagine Zero no Tsukaima without comedy and magic, placed somewhere in time (for example, 10 years after WWI), seasoned with some mystery... Now it's no longer Zero, it's Gosick. They are so similar, yet different. In both series, there is a couple between a native girl and a foreign boy (japanese). They start to develop feelings for each other, and need to overcome challenges togheter, one of which being the girl's family. Both main girls are special, one has a secret magic power which is very powerful, and the other is the most intelligent person alive. The boys are pretty much the same, following their lover's orders, and rescuing them if necessary. Gosick is a more serious approach of a similar theme, and it's undoubtedly a very good series.
