The 3D graphics are garbage.
Vash and wolfwood look like generic discount e-boys that every other god damn generic anime uses.
They got rid of Milly, the bastards.
The story is bad.
Easy skip.
If you want to watch something good watch the original series. So much better. Even though it's from the 90s it looks so much nicer and cleaner, better story and better characters.
Apparently I need to do a super in-depth review of why this show it's shit to be able to publish this. It's shit because it tried to remake an awesome original and instead of improving upon it they took a bunch of steps back. They
...
should have given this anime to like MAPPA instead of orange and let orange stick to their romance stuff and mainly average shows.

It's pure garbage.
It tries to copy Neverland, but fails miserably in every aspect.
Most of this shit makes no sense and is full of plot holes and shit just happens for no reason. Also everyone is just acting like they are complete and utter idiots (could use harsher words but trying to keep it PG).
The art is bad as well, average at best. Characters are idiots. There is no enjoyment to be taken out of this manga, unless you are a loser or a masochist.
Do yourself a favor. Don't go near this. Don't even think about touching this garbage with a 50ft pole.

If one wishes to obtain something, something of equal value must be given, that is the law of equivalent exchange, the basis of all alchemy, the law that governs the world of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
Brotherhood follows the adventures of brothers Edward and Alphonse elric , who have commited taboo and tried to transmutate their mother back from the dead. As a result alphonse is left without his body and stuck to a metal armor and ed with a metal arm and a leg thus the nickname fullmetal. Thus the two brothers embark on a quest to find the famous philosopher's Stone that is said
...
to allow alchemists to ignore the law of equivalent exchange and help them get their bodies back. I will not go into more details because it will spoil the wonderfull story of the anime. Anyway let's get started.
As opposed to it's 2003 counterpart Brotherhood does not have filler episodes or sidestories, the manga being almost finished at the time the anime started. There were a few ovas and specials that came out towards the animes end or after it had finished but I am not counting those. But I have to say they managed to strike a perfect balance. Since it had all the source material it needed the anime does not feel stale,I think it goes on at a great pace and it manages to strike a perfect balance between fights, serious moments, light hearted ones . But if you are a big fan of the 2003 anime you might find this a bit too fast as some of the characters lack the development they had in the first series and you might not feel as attached to them as you were back then. Though personally I loved the pacing, as I never got bored and I got entangled in a wonderfull story that just kept dragging me in.
The art has greatly improved over its predecessor and even now it's way above your usual animes. The facial expressions are great and the battles, oh man they are going to give you a boner, even if you're a girl. Trust me. Though some people might be set off a bit by the fact that the animation style seems to change from battle to battle, but I think that increases it's quality as very rarely you will have the same two characters battling each-other thus each battle seems unique and fresh. I especially enjoy the ones that involve Wrath as man he is a beast.
The sound is great. I have watched the anime in jappanese thus that is the sound version I shall review.Romi Park and Rie Kugimiya reprise their roles as Edward and Alphonnes and deliver a top quallity performance yet again, but the rest of the cast is not going to let you down either as you can feel they actually enjoy voice acting these characters and that they give their all in their performance. Also I swear to god all the openings and endings are epic. I have all those songs on my playlist at the moment since god they are awesome and fit the show perfectly.
I also like the fact they Brotherhood doesn't do something a lot of anime do and by that I mean they do not spoil what will happen in the anime with the intro or outro because they are all custom made and not just scenes picked up from the anime to show off.
Now the greatest strength of the anime are its characters. The original series mostly explored just the two protagonists Edward and Al, but brotherhood manages to show off almost any character they introduce, their motives and their dreams. For example Roy Mustang and his dream to become the next Fuhrer to protect all his comrades or scar's dream first of revenge and later of change. As I said earlier some might characters might feel a bit rushed because of the fast pace of the anime (I'm looking at you hughes and nina) but I assure you it does not draw back from the story one bit as they still somehow fullfill their role.
The anime lacks a bit in the replay value, as you wil already know all the big reveals which will probably detract a little from the overall enjoyment for some, but I watched it multiple times (around once every one and a half years) and I found it refreshing most of the time.
Also if you want to watch the 2003 series you should do it before you watch Brotherhood for one simple reason. The 2003 anime is also a very solid addition to one's library but Brotherhood is the superior version in all areas and you might not enjoy the 2003 version as much if you watch it after brotherhood. Though if you watch the new series after the 2003 one you will definetly still enjoy it as much, if not even more, as opposed to watching it first.
Overall this will always be one of the most enjoyable animes I have ever watched, excelling in all areas with a very compelling story line, complex characters, astonishing art and epic soundtracks. I wholeheartedly recommend you go watch it right now, it is a classic and a must see for any anime enthusiast out there.

So I just finished watching this movie earlier today and I decided that I should write a review for it so let's start.
Note : I am a really big fan of animes in feudal japan regarding the fight for power ( like this one and Sengoku Basara) that have cool battles and stuff so this review might be a bit biased.
Story 8 / 10
So the takes place in feudal japan where we have the ongoing battle for power between the big houses. The story starts after the deaths of Shingen Takeda and Oda Nobunaga and focuses around the struggles of the Sanada
...
brothers : Yukimura and Nobuyuki. The story is based on the video game Samurai Warriors 4 and it's pretty linear and standard and tries to follow the historic events . I always like this type of story thus I rated it 8/10 but if I wasn't biased it would probably be around 6/10.
Art 7 / 10
The art isn't anything out of the ordinary or too extravagant but it is good. The animation is fluid and it really fits this genre of anime. I definetly enjoyed it. All the main and most of the secondary characters have a unique design (like in the games) but I also liked that most foot soldiers weren't just copy paste of the same one, they each had a little bit of something distinctive (a beard , a moustache , a bit of white hair , a scar , a wrinkle , etc).
Sound 8/10
The music is really cool . They use that inspiring battle music and war music and I love that. As far as it concerns the characters , for most of them the voice fits perfectly. Exceptions would be Nobunaga (omg so wrong...sooo wrong) and Kunoichi ( her voice just annoys me) but they barely appear / talk (at most 3 minutes both of them together) so it's not that bad. You will be able to ignore it.
Character 9/10
Here you got your stereotipycal Sanada Yukimura !! which I love. He is one of my favourite characters whenever he appears. Nobuyuki is also quite cool. The struggles of the 2 brothers are portrayed quite nicely , as they try to survive and keep their name and honor intact in a world thrown into chaos. The rest of the characters are just secondary or barely appear thus they don't really strike a big impact. But as I said I am a sucker for this type of anime/ characters so 9/10 in my book, if I were not biased maybe a 7/10.
Enjoynment 9 / 10
I really enjoyed the movie. It was very easy to watch and man that final battle was really cool (made the whole first 2 thirds of the movie worth watching through) . I really mean it was awesome. Because it tried not to become too super-powered sayains (like Sengoku Basara does) for the whole battle. It should the ingenuity of Nobuyuki and the armies clashing. Ofcourse we also have sanada wrecking shit up Basara style which is always cool. But as I said I love the fact that they did not overuse that.
If you are not a fan of this type of anime this is most likely a 6 / 10 for you.
Overall 8/10
Overall this was a good anime , that stays true to its genre with decent characters and audio, good graphics and an awesome final battle.
(if you are not a fan of this genre this anime would probably be around 6/10 for you)

Damn I gotta say this anime surprised me.
So today I decided to take a break from hajime no ippo and my rewatch of eyeshield 21 and watch a short anime that would be you know easy to watch and enjoyable. And one of the best animes for that in my oppinion are slice of life / school / comedy animes. So while searching for a comedy anime I randomly came across Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji...and I gotta say I really enjoyed it more than I expected to as it was very easy to watch. But enough small talk let's jump into the review.
Art
...
9 / 10
I really enjoy this type of art and you could see the anime was made at a high quality. The characters were drawn as mostly generic / secondary characters but each one had a unique feature and you could easely tell them apart. The animation was fluid and smooth and really pleasant to the eye and damn Erika is sooo cute and Kyouya's eyes are epic.
Sound 7/10
The sound is quite generic. I do like the intro but the soundtrack of the anime is nothing out of the ordinary. The voices for the characters are alright. Not too fancy but they are not bad either. I honestly really like Erika's voice because I think it furthers the idea that she is a cute fun girl not a "hot" one.
Character 7/10
The characters are decent. They are nothing special though. You have this really funny (but also a very big and bad liar) protagonist girl (Erika) that is also a very sweet and nice person and you also got Kyouya who is kinda-of a sweet douchebag that turns into a somewhat nice guy by the end of the anime. The other characters are there but they are nothing too important since they episodic and just used to further the development of the 2 main characters Erika and Kyouya.
Story 6/10
Ok before I rant a bit here is an explanation why the story is a bit lower for me. I felt the anime could have ended midway at 2 certain events (they kinda follow each other quite fast but I will refrain from talking about them since it might spoil the anime, though they are not hard to guess).
The rest of the episodes felt a bit like useless fillers but they were enjoyable nontheless.(I know they wanted to show the characters actually grow and stuff still the anime would have been as enjoyable without them in my oppinion).
The story is pretty generic MC1 falls for MC2 while MC2 is a tsundere type char (even though Kyouya is not that tsundere you get the point). The anime follows all the required steps in the story and has a solid one. If it was a bit shorter (let's say 10 episodes) the anime would probably have been 1 7/10 or maybe even 8/10.
Enjoyment 8 / 10
For some reason though I really enjoyed the anime. It was light-hearthed , somewhat funny and very easy to watch thus I went through it in one cold afternoon .
Overall 8/10
Overall the anime had charming MCs and their interactions were entertaining, it was light-hearthed , somewhat funny and very easy to watch and the art is really good. I would recommend it to people who want an easy viewing while taking a break from more serious / longer animes.

Steins;Gate is definetly one of the best animes I have ever seen.
The story 10/10
It is brilliant! The first episode might make you wanna drop it since it's a bit weird but if you pay attention it makes sense in a way.(you'll get what I mean at the end of the series). They leave a small clue in like the first 10 episodes that will be picked up later and that's how they draw you win. Pretty much when the first big event happen (you will know what I am talking about when you watch the series), you will be hooked because that moment in the series
...
just defines it as...awesome. You will be like "wha...did that just happen...wait wha???"
Also this is one , if not the only, anime that manages to tell a really good time travel story that you could actually think it's plausible! So SF fans be sure to check it out, you won't regret it.
Characters 10/10
The cast is quite varied and very engaging. You have the mad scientis Okabe Rintarou who invents a time travelling microwave, with the help of the awesome (honestly she must be one of my favourite characters ) Makise Kurisu and the "hacker" Mashida Itaru. The rest of the cast is also quite good though you will hate one of them eventually (not for being a bad written character, just for being bad).
Art 10/10
The art is unique and everything is drawn really good. Really enjoyed it.
Sound 10/10
The voice acting is top notch and very good. The actors manage to emanate the characters feeling through their voice and that's always a good thing!!!
Enjoyment 10/10
Watched in 2 days (had school or it would have been 1 day for sure:)).
Overall 10/10
Overall Steins;Gate provides the viewer with a believable and engaging time travelling story, with well written characters, with very good art and voice acting and it's a must watch for any anime fan out there!!

So this is my first review thus bear with me:)
Alright so let's start with the review!!!
Story & Characters 9/10
The story of this anime is very good and solid and for me it left just one loose end, but it doesn't take from the general enjoyment. The ending though I gotta say it's very good, it even made me shed a tear (previously I think I only shed a tear at One Piece Merry, anime wise), which is quite rare and should say something about it. The character progression for the MC is good, but most characters are enjoyable too(even if they were perverts :-p) except
...
Tsurumi which I found to be a bit annoying. The premise of the story is that there was an accident and Meiko Honma died when the cast was young. Now several years later she appears as a "summer hallucination" in Jinta Yadomi's room , a no-life slacker. From there one you will see a great character progression in Jinta and the rest of the cast over the course of these 11 episodes.
Art 9/10
The art is really good, fluent and good to the eye.
Sound 9/10
The sound is good. It's nothing too fancy but I think it fits the anime just right.
Enjoyment 9/10
Well I gotta say I really enjoyed this anime and the feeling of it. It delivered something fresh I guess, at least in my repertoire and I watched it all in one siting (even though I had a final the next day T.T).
Overall 9/10
This is easely a great anime with very few, if no drawbacks that I would recommend to anyone who wants an anime with a very good story.
Other thoughts & Rant :
-------------------SPOILER ALERT-----------------SPOILER ALERT---------------
One thing I do not like is that we don't know for sure what happened with Menma. I mean yes I know she fell and kinda is implied that she drowned but how did she fell, why did she drown...Yes I know I am picky but oh well. It's not a deal breaker though and it does not take away from the overall enjoyment of the anime!
-------------------SPOILER END-----------------SPOILER END---------------------
