Story:
Begins with the most generic and stupid moment when devil decides to /for the sake of spoilers lets say/ help MC because he want's to see more of MC dreams (aka wants to see MC achieve his goals/dreams). And what does MC does after that? He decides to make his goal to touch a female. Seriously?
Art:
Character art is meh. Devil art is good. Battle scenes are also drawn pretty good.
Character:
Terrible and unlikeable characters fill this manga. Let's start from MC who is a simp for any type of physical contact with female and would do anything for it. Not only that he is overly
...
edgy and lacks any positive/likeable traits. Next we have Power who is as edgy as they come. Her personality can be summarized with "What!? You want to kill me!? No, I'll kill you, idiot! Blood, blood, blood."
Enjoyment:
The only enjoyment you can get from this are the battles, which are pleasent to look at and are pretty interesting.
Overall:
Pretty overrated manga with a bunch of over the top edgy characters, poor excuse for a plot and dope fights.

Probably hyped as much as ToG and fails to delivers as much. Even tho ToG has a pretty meh plot, at least it has one, unlike GoH.
Plot:
Non-existent. Just a bunch of nice looking fights sprinkled between cheezy character interactions and try hard "comedic" moments.
Now, some may say that plot develops later on, but that's not how it works. Every story across any medium establishes plot/goal at the start and from there continues to expand upon it. That's how storytelling works. Waiting for GoD to establishes a plot is like reading half of a book and then finding out what's the plot. Or even worse,
...
imagine watching 400+ ep of One Piece and then finding out that Luffy wants to become a pirate king and then following that journey. You essentially wasted 400+ ep on some random irrelevant stuff that had no purpose.
Art:
Meh. Character designs are as much as bland as their personalities. Not to mention how most of them look like Rudolph the Reindeer.
Characters:
Bland, uninteresting and generic. They literally have no redeeming qualities. Interactions are so bad and forced it's hard to watch. Especially in recent episode (ep 4), where they were so cheezy it was painful.
Overall:
Another unoriginal show filled with generic characters and no plot carried by it's animation. Fights are nice tho, so if you're looking for something, give it a...actually, no, don't watch it either way. Fights are probably gonna be on yt after the show stops airing, so just watch those 5 min fights and skip the whole anime. Save yourself some time because this show is definitely not worth watching.

I'm so glad I suddenly stumbled upon this very entertaining piece of work while browsing through manga section on MAL.
I'll skip over the story/plot part because you can get most of it from reading the manga's synopsis and previous review.
The Green Eyes is a good example of why the 80s were the golden age of Weekly Shounen Jump. From the bizarre powers and excelent art to over the top violence, The Green Eyes has it all.
This manga is full packed with action scenes that are so captivating and intense, you'll just have to keep reading it, and before you even realize, you already read
...
the whole 21 chapters.
Art is a classic 80s art, marvelous, and has a lot of dark colors and details.
The only problem I had with this manga is that it's too short hence some parts felt kinda rushed and some characters didn't really get the time to shine/develop.
All in all, if you can get over that or if you're just looking for something fun to read with no serious plot, definitely check this one out.

Tower of God has been a hot topic for quite some time and anywhere you went you would stumble upon people recommending and praising it like it's the best written thing ever which is far from the truth. Very, very far.
ToG starts off with an introduction of Rachel who wants to climb the tower in order to see a sky, stars and whatnot. After she disappears from Bam's sight in a flash of light Bam vows that he'll follow her till death and his climb in order to meet up with her once again- begins.
This premise doesn't sound so interesting on it's own and in
...
order for it to be captivating and compelling it needs good characters. Unfortunately, Tower of God has none so the whole reading experience feels like a chore. It was painfull, slow and boring to read that I regretted the day I began reading it. I mean, I gave it more than a fair chance, but after 50 chapters seeing how nothing changes and how its still boring and uninteresting, I just had to stop reading it.
Now, there's a bunch of people saying how it gets good later on, but no one has the time or willpower to sit through dozens and dozens (or maybe even hundreds) of chapters hoping it might get good.
Bam, like every other character in this series is so uninteresting, forgettable and shallow that I couldn't care less about him. To make things even worse, author overloads you with a bunch of characters like these to the point of skipping some of their dialogue just so you could get them out of sight.
There is not a lot to talk about art because it's more than terrible. It's horrendous. It looks like some fanfic drawn by a twelve years old kid.
All in all, Tower of God is more than an overrated, generic shounen filled with terrible, one-dimensional characters, plot that moves at snail pace and horrendous art.

This was a completly pointless oneshot that served no real purpose whatsoever. You won't miss anything if you don't read it.
Death Note: Tokubetsu Yomikiri tries to play with the idea of what would happened if Death Note was discovered in this day and age. In the age of social media and security cameras on every step of the way.
We open up with Ryuk craving some apples and in order to eat some he needs to find someone who would feed him with them. This is even more stupid reason than "I was kinda bored so I dropped the Death Note into the human world".
...
At least the latter one has some payoff later on while this one has none. Well, to get back to it; Ryuk then decides that he'll need someone smart and capable. Someone like Light Yagami. Enter Tanaka Minoru, a super-duper smart kpop Kira who's a borderline Gary Stu character. The only thing keeping him from being one is that his English sucks (he got a low score on an English test). Not only that, but he's also very unlikeable and I couldn't care less about him. Now, some might say that you can't make a reader care about a character with only a oneshot, but that's not true. There's plenty of oneshots who have a very compeling story with likeable characters that you care about and the whole oneshot is even a few pages shorter than this one.
So, our boy incounters Ryuk and in the next few panels he's kinda shocked but after he's completly ok with him even tho he knows nothing about him. He's acting like he already knows who Ryuk is and has no questions. Minoru just goes with the flow and the only thing he did to kinda push against it was when he decided to sell the Death Note. This is a different approach to what we are used to, but just because it's different it doesn't mean it's good. For something that's playing with the idea of DN in today's world they should've gone with the basic approach, aka with him using the DN while having to navigate throught this modern time. Instead of that, we got to see Auction Kings and Ryuk "dropshipping" the DN to the winner of the auction. (don't even get me started with who has won)
Summary:
> Ryuk hungry
> Ryuk heard that Minoru is super smart and want's him to use the DN
> Minoru say nah, imma sell it
> *auction in the process*
> X wins and Ryuk delivers the DN to him
> after that some more stuff happens but I'm trying not to spoil too much
> *manga ends*
There's also a few Kira fanservice moments, same goes for Near who was the most useless character in this whole oneshot.
Don't be fooled by so many positive reviews written by DN fans, all of them are just biased and none of them are looking at it from an objective standpoint.

I'm surprised that people actually gave this P.O.S. anything higher than 4.
Psyren starts off pretty good but ends up terrible.
Story:
Pretty generic story where MC has to save the world. Not only does it have no originality, it was also hella rushed in second half of the manga.
Art:
...
There's not really that much to talk about art. It's a standard shounen-like art, neither bad nor good, just average.
Characters:
Surprise, surprise, MC has some OP power that makes him win every fight. Next we have a girl who's obsessed with MC (very original), bunch of edgy villains and bunch of other random characters who appear here and there. All in all, none of the characters are memorable or likeable whatsoever.
Enjoyment:
There was none. Reading Psyren felt like a chore because it's so boring it's unbearable.
Overall:
Start was solid, everything was introduced nicely, characters had to struggle to win, had to train to get stronger, pacing was nice and then everything changes and we get a bunch of new bland characters introduced who later on die and we are supposed to feel sad for them when in reality they weren't even fleshed out or made likeable; bunch of edgy minor villains who have no motives and are just attacking MC for the sake of attacing (mangaka is making conflict were there is no conflict), then we get a bunch of ass pulls and powers that make no sense and only serve so that MC and his friends could win a fight easily.
All in all, skip Psyren, it's not worth your time.

Banya: The Explosive Delivery Man is basically a package delivery manga set in fantasy world where people are constantly fighting with monsters.
Story:
I sure wish the story was as good as the art. Stars of with MC delivering a letter and somehow ends up with him "saving the world". Considering how short and fast paced it is, stakes get insreased from 1 to 100 real quick. It would've been fine if it had more chapters to build it up to that point but his way is just plain terrible.
Art:
Pretty good.
...
Character:
Mei and Kong don't even appear in that many chapters even tho they are main characters. So there is no need to really talk about them in detail. Anyway, all the characters are pretty bland with zero to no personality, and none of the sticks out. And let's not forget how MC get's a power up when plot calls for it. MC gets beated by enemies. Suddenly hidden power within him awekens. He then beats the enemies and returns to his original self. Generic. And on top of that, it's not even explained how he got that power or how it works. Literally nothing is mentioned about it.
Overall:
I sure wish the story was as good as the artstyle. If you're looking for something with a plot, skip this one. But if you're just bored and looking for something that is fun, short and can be read in one sitting, this is it.

Duo to everyone hyping this anime I decided to check it out. And, oh boy was it bad.
Story:
Basicaly revolves around the relationships between carnivores and herbivores, their desires, instincts..etc. It's a nice premise with nice worldbulding but it lacks one major thing. Decent/likeable characters.
Art
It's just atrocious. There is literally nothing more to say. Even tho it was better than average CGI used in anime, it's still bad. Very bad.
...
Character:
Now, like I said before, there is no likeable characters. We have Legoshi, aka soy boy wolf who's more than annoying with all the overthinking he does. Definiton of soy boy. Weak. Afraid of anything. Can't even speak to females. Overthinks everything. Doubt's himself and his actions. But I guess, that's popular and reletable now seeing how we live in a society full of weak men.
Next we have Louis who's a chad stereotype. He's popular, get's all the girls, edgy, everyone fails in comparison to him..Later on we get some poor attempt at his backstory to flesh out his character a little bit more which was laughable.
We also have Haru. Poor small white rabbit who sleeps with everyone in school with the excuse of "I may die at any moment so I want to experience true love"..Yeah, by sleeping with literally anyone. Her character is also a classic stereotype.
The rest are just side characters that are not even worth mentioning. All in all, every character is forgetable and none of them is likeable.
Overall:
Disappointed. Premise full of potential ruined by unlikeable characters and terrible animation. But hey, at least the soundtracks are nice.
