Ore Monogatari!!

Both Densha Otoko and Ore Monogatari start off with the main protagonist rescuing a woman on a train, but while Takeo is a huge man, "Densha" is a nerdy otaku. However despite their dissimilar backgrounds, both guys are really "pure" in their intentions and bashful when it comes to dealing with the opposite sex and both seek out the advice of friends on how to manage and improve their relationship - the twist being that in "Densha Otoko", the man "Densha" recieves his advice from a popular 2chan message board (the story is actually based off a number of threads that really appeared on 2chan). These two stories have a similar setup, two male leads that are shy and bashful romance novices, two female leads that are sweet and adorable and a similar light and fluffy romance tone that is just happy to read. If you enjoyed these aspects of Ore Monogatari then you'll probably enjoy Densha Otoko as well.
