...then you might like Isekai Shokudou add

Both are cooking anime with a focus on describing food. Whilst Shokugeki is a more shonen style food competition, Isekai Shokudou is a more laid back anime with each episode following a new customer with no real meta-plot but continuity between episodes.

...then you might like Hundred add

Both battle, school, harem anime with very powerful male lead. Very similar even down to female character hiding their gender.

If you liked Aldnoah.Zero add

...then you might like Heavy Object add

Both shows involve regular army soldiers going up against bigger and better opponents and succeeding using intelligence and quick thinking. Both also have a bit of a geo-political vibe to them.

If you liked FLCL add

...then you might like Kill la Kill add

The anime have very similar fast paced zaney action and over the top comedy. The art style and use of colours can also be thought to be similar. Definitely both are worth a watch.

If you liked Shinseiki Evangelion add

...then you might like Freezing add

Both have beings from another dimension bent on destruction that only a select group of students can defeat. The main characters also have deep seated flaws which must be overcome for them to reach their full potential. Also unlike other anime, things don't always run smoothly in both of these very good anime.

...then you might like Ga-Rei: Zero add

Both have large secret government organisations as the protagonists trying to defend the world against strange beings. Both are tragic as many things go wrong and each look at the main characters inner flaws and subsequent conquering (Yomi’s inner resentment of Kagura and shinji’s cowerdice). Both of these are extremely well made stories with a great mix of action and plot.

Both are futuristic psychological thrillers in which the watcher delves into the mindset of the main character and those around him. They both also tackle issues such as morality and God. Both are a good watch and take time to fully appreciate.

Both Anime have the same feel to the main characters who both have troubled and mysterious pasts. Combine this with good music and great actions scenes and you have two great shows.
