(no spoiler review) if this show teaches you anything, it`s that dropped money is bad luck

a lot of other reviews for his show I found were either super high or super low and I can kind of see why. It`s one of those shows you kind of have to "turn your brain off" to get enjoyment out of. The entire show is extremely chaotic and wild, throughout the entire show it never seems to show any clear direction of where the ending might be headed. But I would say the ending that it gave was satisfying enough. The plot was interesting enough of a ... train wreck for me to want to know what happens next. I found myself reaching for the next episode button after every episode, and I ended up binging the show in two days.

One of the weak points of the show were it`s characters. The executioners in particular I found to be pretty weak characters as none of them really were shown to have any real motives. However, I did appreciate the character development that the main character got. I just wish some of the other mains got some character development...

TLDR: I am really enjoying the show thus far and I`m waiting for Netflix to release the second half

I haven`t seen the full show yet but I don`t feel like I need to in order to know that the show is amazing. Is it one of my new all time favorites or a new classic? mmmm probably not, but it is entertaining.

I found this show right as it came to netflix and I just gave it a go. At the first watch I would have never guessed that this was done by studio WIT, the same people that did AOT, seraph of the end, ... and kanaberi. This show has a completely different vibe than anything else that WIT has produced thus far (maybe it has something to do with its connection to netflix idk).

The story and characters have life to them, they have their own motivations and backstories which drives the actions in the story. And unlike other anime, the backstories of the characters aren`t just dumped in an exposition plot, they are shown as opposed to being spelt out.

The sound track is great, it features jazzy tracks that really help with the show`s atmosphere. I find that unless an anime has a jaw-droppingly amazing soundtrack it tends to go unnoticed. But when I was watching this show there were a few songs that really stood out.

I was a huge fan of the original series back when it was airing, and despite the plot amour and everything it still was one of my favorite series. Unfortunately after the first series the quality went downhill. The plot amour is at stupid ridiculous levels in this anime. I swear someone dies every episode just to come back to life (this applies to the villains as well). It really takes meaning away from the fights and the sacrifices.
If you are a fan of the series you will still find great enjoyment in watching it but its definitely not the same as the first ... series. Also the author is a huge pervert and it really shows. Sometimes I think I`m actually watching a henti rather than a shounen (the innuendos are everywhere).

I watched this anime when it first came out a couple of seasons ago and as someone who enjoys the occasional reverse harem anime this one is pretty bad. There wasn`t much appealing about it, it`s probably for the best if you just skip this one.

The characters were dry as heck and the main harem wasn`t interesting whatsoever in my opinion, at least from what I remember about it from watching it a couple months ago. Also the plot is pretty lack luster ... and dry. There are better anime and reverse anme out there to watch so just keep this one on your to watch list, or better yet just remove it and forget about it. Trust me, you lives will benefit from never wasting your time on this anime.
