Koe no Katachi is often praised for its emotional depth and portrayal of bullying, mental health, and redemption, it isn’t without its flaws. The pacing feels uneven, with the first half of the movie being emotionally gripping but the latter half dragging in places. Some characters, especially the supporting cast, feel underdeveloped—important conflicts and motivations are hinted at but never fully explored.
Additionally, the film’s attempt at redemption for the protagonist, Shoya Ishida, can feel a bit forced. While his growth is central to the story, some might find it frustrating how quickly other characters seem to forgive or overlook his past bullying. Nishimiya, the deaf
...
heroine, also lacks agency at times, often reduced to a passive character whose struggles revolve around Shoya’s journey rather than her own.
Visually, Kyoto Animation delivers stunning animation, but at times, the direction leans too heavily into symbolism without enough narrative weight to support it. The ending, while emotional, may leave some viewers unsatisfied due to its open-ended nature.
Overall, A Silent Voice is a beautifully animated film with an important message, but its execution may not resonate with everyone, especially those looking for a more balanced and fully developed character arc.
6/10 Fine.

Classroom Crisis
is an anime that had the potential to be something truly remarkable. With a premise that blends corporate intrigue, political drama, and futuristic sci-fi elements, it promised to be a fresh and engaging take on the often-overdone high school anime genre. Unfortunately, what we got was a convoluted mess of half-baked ideas, inconsistent pacing, and characters so underdeveloped that they might as well have been cardboard cutouts.
[The Premise]: A Promising Start
The story is set in a future where humanity has colonized Mars, and corporations wield immense power over society. The focus is on A-TEC, a high school class that doubles as
...
an elite engineering team working for the Kirishina Corporation. The arrival of Nagisa Kiryuu, a cold and calculating corporate executive, shakes things up as he attempts to dismantle A-TEC for the company's financial gain.
On paper, this sounds like a recipe for a gripping narrative. The clash between corporate greed and youthful idealism, the tension between Nagisa and the A-TEC students, and the backdrop of a futuristic Mars colony all suggest a story rich with depth and complexity. Sadly, *Classroom Crisis* squanders this potential at almost every turn.
[The Execution]: A Trainwreck of Missed Opportunities
The anime's biggest flaw is its inability to decide what kind of story it wants to tell. Is it a corporate thriller? A high school drama? A sci-fi adventure? A romantic comedy? *Classroom Crisis* tries to be all of these things at once, and the result is a narrative that feels disjointed and unfocused.
The pacing is all over the place. The first few episodes drag on with mundane school activities and awkward attempts at humor, only to suddenly shift gears into heavy-handed corporate intrigue. By the time the story starts to gain momentum, it’s already too late to salvage the viewer’s interest. The anime’s attempts at humor often fall flat, and the dramatic moments lack the emotional weight needed to make them impactful.
The corporate and political aspects of the story, which should have been the anime’s strongest points, are handled with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. The Kirishina Corporation’s internal conflicts are reduced to cartoonish levels of villainy, with characters making decisions that defy logic just to move the plot forward. The anime tries to tackle themes like corporate corruption and the ethics of technological advancement, but these ideas are explored in such a superficial way that they come across as afterthoughts rather than central themes.
[The Characters]: A Cast of Wasted Potential
The characters in *Classroom Crisis* are perhaps its most frustrating aspect. On the surface, they seem interesting, but the anime does almost nothing to develop them beyond their basic archetypes.
[Nagisa Kiryuu]:
The corporate executive with a mysterious past should have been a compelling anti-hero, but his character arc is rushed and unconvincing. His transformation from a cold-hearted businessman to a sympathetic ally feels forced and lacks the necessary buildup.
[Kaito Sera]:
The hot-headed leader of A-TEC is your typical shonen protagonist, but his personality is so one-note that it’s hard to care about his struggles.
[Mizuki Sera]:
Kaito’s sister and the team’s mechanic is reduced to little more than a love interest, which is a shame given her technical skills and potential for growth.
[Iris Shirasaki]:
The team’s pilot and resident “genius girl” is a walking cliché, with no real depth or development to speak of.
The supporting cast is even worse, with characters like Angelina and Yuuji being so underutilized that they might as well not exist. The relationships between the characters are equally underdeveloped, with romantic subplots that feel tacked on and friendships that lack any real chemistry.
[The Animation and Sound]: Mediocre at Best
The animation in *Classroom Crisis* is serviceable but unremarkable. The character designs are generic, and the futuristic settings lack the creativity and detail needed to make them stand out. The action scenes, while occasionally decent, are few and far between, and the anime’s reliance on dialogue-heavy scenes makes for a visually dull experience.
The soundtrack is forgettable, with no standout tracks to elevate the emotional or dramatic moments. The opening and ending themes are similarly uninspired, doing little to capture the viewer’s attention.
[The Verdict]: A Disappointing Misfire
Classroom Crisis is a prime example of wasted potential. It had all the ingredients for a compelling and thought-provoking story, but poor execution, inconsistent pacing, and underdeveloped characters turned it into a forgettable mess. While it’s not the worst anime out there, it’s certainly one of the most disappointing, especially given the strength of its premise.
If you’re looking for a corporate drama with depth and nuance, go watch Psycho Pass. If you want a high school anime with heart and humor, try My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU. But if you’re considering Classroom Crisis, do yourself a favor and skip it. This anime is a textbook case of how not to tell a story, and your time would be better spent elsewhere.
[Final Score]: 4/10
Classroom Crisis is a cautionary tale of what happens when ambition outstrips execution. It’s not outright terrible, but it’s so frustratingly mediocre that it’s hard to recommend to anyone.

an excellent innocent love story idc what anyone else thinks about the story or about what they read in the little synopsis the story itself is harmless it’s definitely not what most of us thought it would be lol but I’m glad I gave it a shot. In the anime world the old man almost always portrayed as this old pervy scumbag but surprisingly not in this anime which I appreciate people already were jumping on the bandwagon hate towards it and him being pervy loli-con old man would’ve made the whole community disgusted but thankfully this scenario did NOT happen but instead we ended

I really loved this manga and I loved the anime adaptation as well it’s your typical shoujo rom-com but it’s definitely worth the read especially if you’re a shoujo enthusiast like me lol. What I really love and appreciate is the character development it’s so rewarding to see/read. Now the art style kinda ugly sometimes not gonna lie lol but nonetheless it’s a good shoujo manga. There is of course some characters you will hate their guts duh it’s a shoujo manga what do we expect lol idk i kinda love these kind of characters they give the story a little push you know? And
