Loads of intense fighting between the two of these. Both take part in worlds where characters can utilize their life force for attacks and are pitted against enemies that require them to get stronger every time. One arch for HxH has a cell like character in it also.

Both sport plenty of gore and grotesque powers which results in the main characters struggling against their morality and their objective situation within the world they live in. Very thrilling with a lot of great characters.

The two series share similar art styles and story boarding. The settings of both are also very similar and create very fun and interesting backdrops for the characters to light up and interact in. If you enjoyed one of these you'll most likely find the other enjoyable as well.

Both of these shows contain enough mecha action to make any fans of the genre more than content, but mechs are not what define them. These shows carry heavy ideals and enriched characters which lead to plenty emotional connections to get you involved. The stories of each will keep you guessing to the end and finish you off wanting to relive it a few times more.

Similar in the dynamic that the characters are stuck in an online game, but the key difference is the nature of deaths in the game. Both Character must deal with their cool and calculating personalities and struggle to make this new world their homes. Both of these shows were not put down till all the episodes ran out. They are both very enjoyable in their own unique ways.
