I caught up with the manga and I am now here continuing onto the light novels. I have now read up to the end of volume 8. I am enjoying this quite a lot, despite the protagonist being very dense and the setting playing out as illogical nonsense.
It's cliche, simple, easy to understand (stupid). The protagonist becomes overpowered due to his Grandfather's things he left behind. The protagonist was originally a bully victim so he has a very low self-esteem, but he still tries to pull moving past revenge and getting on with his life. He is also now experiencing how it's like to be
...
surrounded by friends that care about him. He can travel between the modern world and the fantasy world. I hope the romance can progress a lot more as the story progresses, and the protagonist gets less dense. The story gets a lot more interesting from Volume 6 onward and things start to escalate.. as aliens and space warfare start getting mixed in.

I finished reading the web novel years ago, and read the light novel from volume 1 as they were being released. I suggest skipping the web novel and jumping right into the light novel. There are additions (and corrections to details of events) done to the light novel serialization in contrast to the web novel.
The protagonist, Rudeus. This is a story about Rudeus being a victim of severe bullying and fell down a hole of trauma, and never found the courage to get back on his feet in the real world. He got so trapped in his little space that he started to regress to
...
more carnal needs. Because he was a student that stopped going to school and grew older in his cage, he never got to learn how to interact with the outside world. The story follow Rudeus where he attempts to interact with the outside world and grows as he goes on adventures; and at the same time, he tries to overcome all kinds of trauma to rid of his regrets from his past life that continued to haunt him. He would often be this perverted high school boy, but at other times he would be yearning for intimate relationships with others (that he missed out because he was too traumatized of the outside world due to bullying). It was hard for him to open his heart to others, even to his own family. I love seeing how Rudeus grows as a character, and how he changes over the course of the story. What I also really love about the story is how there is a long passage of time being depicted. He is reborn, and he grows from a kid, to teenage years, to early adulthood. He even gets married and has kids, yet the story still continues on for a bit longer.
The theme of the story strongly emphasize family and what it means to open up and communicate with others. Rudeus was not able to understand the significance of family and being intimate with others ever since the beginning of high school. He was able to slowly learn after his reincarnation. This is a journey that builds Rudeus's character focusing on the theme of family.
What the story also focus on is sexual insecurities of an adolescent boy. Due to the nature of the bullying, Rudeus becomes hyper-conscious of his manhood, which is all due to the criticism and whatever was posted of his bullying on social media in his previous life. It didn't help when his carnal desires progressively got worse as he remained a shut-in and fapped to stuff like porn. But following his reincarnation, his carnal desires slowly toned down when he was able to step outside and communicate with others, enabling him to seek intimacy from others that are closer to both his mental and physical age, which he missed out on in his previous life. You will find these sexual insecurities being a large focus on the first half of the series, while family will remain as a prominent on-going theme throughout the series.
Ah, and I am a fan of the harem tag, so it was a plus to learn the story had the polygamy tag, and the lead up to it moved my heart a lot. No regrets and I pray for a blessed future for Rudeus and his family.
I highly recommend this series to fellow isekai fans, as well as common fans of high fantasy.

So I completed volume 1, and I can say that it was a really nice novel thus far. At times for the protagonist there were moments of awkwardness from seeing how his otaku mind works... but after completing the novel, I barely remember what exactly made me feel from seeing him being awkward. The relationship between the protagonist and the heroine outweighed everything I initially found hard to read through. I did not get used to it, but there are far more goodness I got out of the novel rather than pointing out the bad points and making a big deal out of it. I
...
did however get used to his paranoia of trusting '3D women', and it was really nice to see his personality slowly breaking out of its shell. Also the heroine is absolutely adorable when trying to give it her best to be the protagonist's ideal girlfriend.

This will be a temporarily review until the anime is completed, I created this so that people won't get any misunderstandings from others until the technical reviewers come by when the anime is completed. I've also decided to create this review for the sake of those viewers who played the visual novel, and for those who haven't since I'm tired of reading all these reviews made up of self-satisfaction, and (sadly) by biased and unperceptive views.
First to those who played the visual novel, please stop comparing the visual novel to the anime, they are done completely different from each other. So please don't use the
...
visual novel's high standing as an excuse that the anime will be the same. Using 'because it's a Key story' as a reason to watch is a different (and more agreeable) reason though, given that the same person wrote the same scenario as the whole of Clannad (and other various animes adapted from Key's work) is a plus and a good reason to watch this anime.
To those who are only here for the anime, please stop talking like you know everything about the anime when you have not completed the story yet (the anime is still airing). The slow pacing is not an excuse, many anime had slow pacing (not just for the first few episodes, it can even be for over half the series) yet in the near end there has been series that has shown to attain high praise, removing most, if not all, doubts for the slow beginning of those series. I do not want to see people making such assumptions that a slow burn at the beginning determines whether an anime is good or bad. The massive hype that you anime viewers are seeing, there will always be a reason why it is hyped. Just be careful if the hype fits what you were looking for, or you will be let down. Don't assume to make a point it is bad because of preconceptions of what you thought was worth your form of hype.
Generic? I will not use this as an excuse but give this anime a break, the visual novel was developed in 2007. Though it was after Clannad, it's not a surprise there will be some generic settings and character traits in this anime. Actually not everyone gets tired of these sorts of things, but those who do get tired... if you can overlook that, then go for it and watch it especially for the romance, drama and the obligatory Key magic narrative. I have no idea people are giving a damn about the repetitive use of generic setting and characters at this point of time. Just enjoy the ride and find out why everyone is excited.
JC Staff hate on adapting this Little Busters, and wanting KyoAni to pick up this adaption, here is a powerful and deep quote for you guys: "What dawned on me recently about Little Busters was that despite the premise of Riki building a baseball team via harem creation, the real focus on the show is not romance, but actually friendship, despite the Key label. And that answers many questions I had behind LB and its production. …It is this focus on friendship by the LB source material that it is well-loved by fans, and why JC Staff picked it up, and why, like you, I find it so charming and comforting." -Slashe@from a blog on lostinanime.com
...It's like what everyone always says: You will not be able to satisfy everyone since they all have different tastes and expectations. If it's not your type of anime, if you don't like Key anime, if you hate Little Busters!'s comedy, building narrative or pacing, then you don't have to yell so loudly about how bad it is. For the visual novel players, it's an anime so obviously they will leave out many things that aren't deeply or specifically relevant to the plot. If they leave out a favorite scene of yours then find an another scene that the producers did animate and is already giving you. For anime viewers, don't use your imagination on what you want to happen, or have expected this and that just because it's a popular series right off the bat (no matter how many times I need to repeat this, I'll say it over and over: the anime is still airing). ...Constantly comparing will ruin your enjoyment on what the anime is already trying to give and portray for you.
I will also include the anime's traits and argumentative downsides (negatives/cons of the anime that many people whined/complained about) to give new viewers a fairer reason to watch this anime if they're looking for one. If you love anime with a slow pace continuing to build up to a strong, emotional narrative (like CLANNAD (THE FIRST SEASON), STEINS;GATE, and possibly MADOKA MAGICA), that follows a kind of omnibus format, then this anime is fit for you. I am aware that there are people out there who:
-Hate this anime's moe-tification. (but some look forward to it and adore it because cute is supremacy)
-Hate this anime because of the (again) slow pace, because it bores you. (but some enjoy the atmosphere and (again) the slow build-up and tension giving you the mysterious feeling of anxiety to the emotional narrative)
-Hate the cast of characters' personalities. You must be one hell of a intolerant person. (but others can connect with those characters whether it's because of their personality or relatable experiences)
-Hate random panty shots. (Some don't mind nor care. Seriously, will a non-ecchi anime showing a single panty shot (or two) kill you? Do you hate sensual stuff that much?)
-Hate the character's voices and/or VAs. (The voices are completely fine, many including myself love it because it fits their personalities so stop yelling so loudly about the voices.. and stop using Komari's voice as an excuse to drop it, you must've not watched enough anime to hear VAs even worse and more grating. Komari especially is a popular character so you might be erased if you start hating on the voice for nonsensical reasons). There is actually another popular heroine or two that has the same VA as Komari's character doing quite great as well.
To conclude this review, if any of you ever go on assuming baseless facts about the plot, or questioning the narrative of the anime and it's current direction without clearly knowing the entire story, and the reasons why each character is acting the way they are when the anime is still currently airing/have yet to be completed: then you are a narrow-minded individual blindly looking for a reason to hate for your own strange satisfaction and unmet expectations (like those people who thinks an anime that contains 'hentai' in it's title would actually think they would focus on it and was let down...)
Thank you for reading this very unrefined review :)

These little 3-minute specials are a direct sequel to Amagami SS+ plus, but you can interpret it as "afterstories" to the arcs of the parent story. I enjoyed all the specials despite it being shorts because I'm a fan of the show. So that means that if you really loved any of the heroines, and want to see what happens to them further on in the story, then these lovely shorts should satisfy you. These specials will give you a conclusion that goes beyond the conclusion given in the parent story.
OR... another reason for you to watch these could be to indulge yourself in nostalgia
...
towards the heroines reappearances again.
