- Both anime are by the same studio - Art styles are similar - Main characters have a dream they want to achieve, and they also want to leave their home town for something bigger - I'd describe both anime as more of a josei anime (so the story is a bit more mature), even though Nana is tagged as shoujo in MAL - The romance seems more realistic than most romance anime Just give them both a go, and you'll see the similar vibe they have. They're both great.
