Literally the same themes, the same drama feeling, only with the difference that Idoly Pride is focused on a group and Selection Project focused on a singing/idol contest. That's like the only difference if I am honest

Holo no Graffiti

Idolls and Holo no Graffiti have the same type of animation somehow, full 3D animation, which I must say it's very fluid. Both are also short on their own way, Idolls having episodes of 8 minutes and HnG having episodes ranging 1 to 2 minutes. While Idolls have the slice of life type of comedy, with a history and such, Holo no Graffiti presents a history per episode, with complety full usage of random surrelistic comedy. Both worth a watch

Both are short animes, where surrealistic or random comedy acts happen every second of it. I must say, both of them are enjoyable experiences if you want just to chill and have small laughs.

Assault Lily: Bouquet

Assault Lily and Azur Lane have somehow a similar lore. Group of girls that fight together as the last stand of humanity against "sci-fi" monsters/enemies. The methods they use is also pretty similar - while the shipgirls at Azur Lane use typical warships guns such as planes, torpedos and other naval guns, and the Lillies at Assault Lilly use their CHARMs, the way the weapons are used are also a bit similar.

Yagate Kimi ni Naru

Despite being two different animes in terms of history, where sakura trick comes off as a comedy/slice of life anime and yagate kimi ni naru as a dramatic one, both have a similar element: discovery of oneself and her partner. In both animes, the protags are kinda discovering what is romance, what is a romantic partner, the first kiss, etc. Taking by this perspective is interesting~!

Making a text about the reasons why Steins;Gate fans should watch Madoka Magica is kinda giving spoilers to the plot line of both Madoka Magica and Steins;Gate. I will try to make this recommendation spoiler-free as possible. Both have a theme in common, regrets and time-travel And both have the happy feeling at the beginning, a thing that will make you happy that will lead you into darker places of your mind that I won't dig more cause spoilers. Also both have amazing OST's

Both have a boy teenager moving to an isolate village and both have extreme gore scenes. I kinda say that the purpose of the plot have similar traits, like solving mysteries. Both have incredible openings!

The mood and ambient that Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon gives is really similar to Blend S, a funny and cheering mood that brights up your day. We also can see the fact that Blend S and Kobaysahi-san Chi no Maid Dragon have the "waitress/maid" formula to join in the equation, that makes even better.
