"Jiranaide, Miss Nagatoro" was a bolt from the blue. I'm relatively grown-up and I'm not usually into this genre but I immediately got an interest in the main characters and the controversial topics of this work.
Well, seems that only after a few pages the author moved on a really lovely teenagers love-story made of flirting and teasing giving me the same vibes of other great works such as VideoGirl Ai.
The characters progression is great and feels natural to the reader, especially "Senpai" which little by little grow up his self-confidence and with Nagatoro.
Nagatoro is...she has basically everything to be a meme queen thanks to
...
her explosive personality and her extremely positive attitude towards Naoto. She is extremely annoying but in a funny and cute way only to show her love for her senpai to see, undirectly telling him all the time "Stay with me" .
When Naoto show his guts her weaknesses are greatly exposed to enhance her cuteness, as you should expect from a girl of her age.
In a few words, just go through the first pages of this work and you can find one of the most adorable characters you can ever find on this genre.
The countour of secondary characters is well written with Nagatoro's friends (or "gang") which enjoys teasing her encouraging her love and also accepting Senpai in their "cool" group since the beginning.
So, from a controversial manga which seemed to be about bullying turns out to be the most adorable work of the genre I've read in many years.
Let's wait for the next chapters now, meanwhile: Great great job, Nanashi!
