TL;DR
If all the attractive women in our world were boke, I would probably die single. But our young hero made the sacrifice I wouldn't. He became... a tsukkomi.
Story: 6
Fujimura-mates has a story, but that really isn't the focus of the manga. For the most part the story is just used to transition one joke to another. The amount of story it does have is actually pretty good. It is the weakest part of the manga however. So if you are looking for manzai characters in a strong story look elsewhere. If you are looking for a manzai comedy that actually has a sort decent plot,
...
this manga is perfect for you.
Art: 5
The art is average. The girls are cute, and there really isn't much to complain about on the art style. But there weren't any moments that make you stop and think "Oh this looks cool". For a comedy of this sort, art isn't the primary focus anyways.
Character: 8
To be honest, most of the characters grew annoying when they were all together. However I am not a fan of manzai style comedy and this manga still made the characters generally likable. The characters are really what sells the manga and they did a good job keeping me entertained. If you are not a fan of manzai but still want to read this, I recommend reading it in bursts rather than all at once, because the characters remain likable that way. If you are a fan you should have no problems.
Enjoyment: 5
As mentioned earlier I am not a fan of manzai, but I still had a great time with this manga. The boke when in a group annoyed me and just made me feel bad for the MC. But when they are in smaller groups or by themselves I enjoyed myself immensely. At times the humour drifts away from manzai, and I caught myself laughing. Although I gave it a 5, which is usually an average on my scale, it is anything but average. It just had equal shares of highs and lows.
Overall: 7
I can highly recommend this to anyone who likes the tsukkomi and boke relationship. If you don't I would still recommend reading the first few chapters and seeing how you handle it.

TL;DR
While watching this I had such a strong feeling of deja vu I had to make sure I hadn't already seen it 3 times. In the end it was because of bad writing. While watching this I had such a strong feeling of deja vu I had to make sure I hadn't already seen it 3 times. In the end it was because of bad writing.
Story: 5
Raise your hands if you have heard this one before. An OP protagonist who is looked down upon joins a class in a battle school where people have mystic powers and fight giant CG monsters. But this time he
...
is the teacher. Isn't that a twist! There was one interesting point to the plot where people who die with this power are forgotten. It could have been a really cool addition to the rest of the cliche story. Instead they use it as a small plot point in one of the girls story. Then it might as well have died itself, with how they forgot about it.
Art: 5
Part of me wants to rate this part a 4. All I look for in these shows are cool looking fight scenes. This show doesn't even deliver that. But it is still a 5 because the art is thoroughly average. The CG is bad, but that is to be expected.
Sound: 4
I hate the backing soundtrack, and the OP and closing are easy to skip. The rest is pretty normal. The seiyu sound just like you expect them to.
Character: 5
All the characters are one dimensional. They are likable due to the familiarity cliches bring me. But they do nothing themselves to make me like them. To someone who hasn't watched much anime I am sure they would find a few of the characters endearing.
Enjoyment: 1
I did not enjoy this anime in the slightest. On an objective level, this show is not as bad as many of the other reviews make it sound. It is average, a copy of other shows that really are not that much better than it. Many of the reviews I have read rate it low because it is exactly like others of this genre. But that just makes it average, not bad. Like I said previously, when I watch these shows all I want are cool fight scenes and easy romance. This show does neither.
Overall:5
There is no net gain or loss from this show. It is the same show you have seen plenty of times. Neither bad nor good. The more anime you watch, the more these types of shows will make you angry, but if you are at a stage in life where you are fine with mediocrity you can watch this and won't be disappointed.

TL;DR
If a Key novel and Twilight had a child, it would be Fortune Arterial. However, this child takes more after Twilight. How unfortunate. Skip this one.
Story: 4
Starting out as a cheap rip-off of Key novels, the story seemed average at best. However, the more episodes I watched the more I hated myself for watching it. The overall plot is pretty stable, if mediocre. The dialogue is what really ruins the rest of the story. To be fair I watched it subbed, so the translator may be at fault. The general plot of the story is that the MC causes problems that he then fixes without
...
really doing anything. Such is the fate of anime adapted harem VN.
Art: 4
To be perfectly honest the art itself is ok, if a bit average. The shot composition is awful. It wasn't noticeable at first, but the longer I watched the more something was bothered me about the art. The director really owes an apology to the artists for that.
Sound: 3
The opening and closing are legitimately annoying. The overall soundtrack has a total of two good songs that they use at any dramatic moment. The seiyu tried their best, but as mentioned before the dialogue is awful.
Character: 4
There isn't a single interesting character in the show and they all have cookie-cutter problems. You have seen or will see these types of problems and characters in other shows. In those show they will be most likely handled better. Normally average characters and such would be rated a 5 by me, but as mentioned multiple times the dialogue sucks.
Enjoyment: 3
I have watched this show twice now. The first because it was related to a a much better show. That time when I watched it my mind went numb. When I watched it the second time as a refresher for the review I grew increasingly irritated. Neither time could I call the feeling enjoyment.
Overall: 4
After such a negative review, it may seem odd to only rate this show a 4. I don't mind cliches if they are executed well. They are not executed well in this show. It is below average, with problems in every area of its making. But those problems are able to be ignored on an initial run through. Some people are just hungry for vampire romance. And sometimes people need a break for good anime. So this show wasn't broken enough to completely throw out. Just to ignore until there is nothing left.

TL;DR
In a teenage love story, of course they are living together. At least the execution is good. On the bright side, you will forget about this story once you are done, so you can enjoy it a second time.
Story: 6
A young man moves out to live on his own for the summer, and ends up living with a cute girl. The only thing not cliche about the set up is the fact they basically share a room separated by frosted glass. The story is nothing new, going through the typical misunderstandings and falling in love. However, where this story excels is execution, which is what
...
really matters.
Art: 6
The art is slightly above average. It is nothing to write home about, but it fits the narrative and has a few panels that do make you appreciate the art.
Characters: 8
While there is one annoying character, the meat and bones of the manga is with the two main characters. They are fun characters, even if they aren't really that deep. Most of the supporting cast are fun to watch as well. The gap between their characters and the "actors" who play them was interesting as well.
Enjoyment: 7
A cliche story is not necessarily a bad one. As long as the execution of the story is done well and the characters are fun even the most cliche story can be enjoyable.
On a personal level, I had a tons of fun reading this one.
Overall:7
Senakgurashi is a fun, snack-size manga to read when you aren't in the mood for anything amazing. It is something to read, have a good time with, put down, then rarely think about again.

TL;DR
This manga isn't really for the romance, so if you are looking for cute moments look elsewhere. Otherwise you should read this.
For such a short story, it really has a lot to say. Because it is shorter, my ratings will be adjusted to match the amount of space they had to convey everything.
Story:9
I don't want to spoil anything (even in the first chapter) so it will be difficult to accurately talk about the plot. However, I can say that the writing is phenomenal and the structure and timing of the plot is really well done. The overall message is accurately portrayed, and asks questions that
...
apply to real life.
Art:7
Originally I was going to rate it a 6, because it looks pretty average. But a few moments really stood out and the art style was ideal for this kind of story. It is typical shoujo style, so if that really annoys you, consider this your warning.
Characters:8
I really love Silver as a character. The MC is very well done as well. Everyone else is pretty one dimensional, but there is only so much you can do with a short amount of time. The characters are portrayed somewhat realistically. It is also a lot of fun watching the two MCs grow.
Enjoyment:8
It is nice to see romances that aren't "copy paste". This one was really well done. The art was its weakest point, but didn't stop you from enjoying it.
Overall:8
A solid manga that was probably lucky to be cut short. If it had more to the story it would have been far less great. It asks questions that are becoming more applicable as technology progresses.

TL;DR
If you like sports or romances skip it. If you like sports and romances, read it.
Romantic sports mangas are hard to find. Generally it is either a sports manga with a very mild romantic sub-plot, or a romance manga with sports as a backdrop. One of the only other mangas I have read that actually tried to combine both was Suzuka, so there will be some comparisions between the two.
Story:7
The story has a good flow to it and progresses well. When the MC improves, a few times the author uses the same explanations as to why he did, so it feels like a cop-out. However,
...
overall almost every characters improvements feel natural. This manga is the first I have ever read to blend the romance almost seamlessly. The author of Suzuka, in comparison, seemed to write two seperate mangas and tried to fit them together. In the second half of Smash! the author does create unnecessary drama when everything is going too smoothly for the romance. They also change focus onto the supporting characters when the MC resolves his romance. The ending had a few things (which are spoilers) happen, which cheapen the end, but it is a solid conclusion nonetheless.
Art:6
The art is nothing to write home for, but it is pretty good. The panel layout is nice. The action does have its intense moments and nothing stood out as poorly drawn. Almost all the characters are distinct from each other without needing an "identifier".
Character:8
I really loved some characters, and I didn't dislike any of them. However there were quite a few out of character moments from multiple characters. At some points people will say that certain characters changed, but it really doesn't read or feel that way. Also, some characters seemed created to be forgotten, even in the "main" cast.
Enjoyment:7
It doesn't have the intensity of haikyuu!, or the action of kuroko no basuke. The romance doesn't have the drama of kimi no irumachi, nor the constant cuteness of horimiya. But by combining the two it is able to constantly catch your attention, making you want to know what is coming next.
Overall:7
There will always be better things out there, but I would recommend this one without hesitation. For everything it does wrong, it does three right. I never felt like I wanted to stop reading, and a few times I couldn't wait to read what was coming next.

TL;DR: Read the first chapter. If you like it keep reading, if you don't then stop there, because it is just more of the same.
On a personal level and a critical level, I did not enjoy shino-chan wa jibun no namae ga Ienai. However, I do understand why some people might. It's different than most people read and sometimes that is enough.
Story:4
The story has a syncopated rhythm to it, which could have been effective if the events had any actual impact (besides the ending, which was impactful, but not well written). The story spun its wheels for a while, making it hard
...
to be invested in the plot.
Art:6
The art is pretty average for the most parts. The intense drawings at certain sections were off-putting and strange, although it actually helped in this case.
Character:2
The characters are irrational and unrelatable. Because they tend to be irrational, nothing is out of character for them. It is possible that they were meant to be irrational because they are young teenagers, but either way it was detrimental to the story. There wasn't a single likable character, and I couldn't relate to them either, so there was no point to them.
Enjoyment:4
I accidentally laughed at a few points, and a few spots were adorable, but for the most part it wasn't a good time. After reading it, I wasn't upset at having my time wasted, but I won't feel like re-reading it, and if time went backwards I would have just skipped it. However those are my personal feelings on the story. From a critical point of view it is worth a bit more.
Overall:4
In a way, this story reminds me of Hatsukoi Shinjuu. They both deal with odd subjects and deals with them in unique ways. Even though I didn't enjoy either of them on a personal level, I understand why others might find something in them.

Absolute duo is a show I really couldn't care much about. It wasn't bad by any means, but if all it's good ideas are done better somewhere else, is that much better?
Story:3
The story is a copy paste of the formula we have seen in many action/ecchi settings, although the very beginning gave me hope it might be more. To be honest, I don't have high hopes for the stories of these types of shows (although a few have actually been really good), but even for that absolute duo feels uninspired. Similar to a story written by someone who loves the genre, but has no ideas
...
themselves.
Art:6
The animation is ok. Nothing bad about it, but nothing stood out. Besides in this genre only two things matter in the art. Ecchi and fight scenes. The ecchi shots have been done before and better. There is nothing really interesting about it. The fight scenes are pretty, but poorly choreographed.
Sound:5
The OP and ED were much the same style as anything that came before this show. The voice acting wasn't bad for the most part. You can't fault the seiyu for poorly written dialogue.
Character:5
I was really torn by this, because there are two characters I really liked, one of whom is almost original. But then the watered down, bland, rip-offs of other characters really put out any affection I had for the other two.
Enjoyment:4
As I stated earlier, the show isn't bad. However, when nothing is really good about it, you tend to pick up on the little annoyances. I never thought "I should stop watching this." but I did think "why am I watching this?" If you don't think about it, or just love the genre, it may be a lot of fun. But for me it was just mind-numbing.
Overall:5
The show is exactly like this review: repetitive, unoriginal, boring, and long winded without saying anything.
