Gachagacha: The Next Revolution starts out with an interesting concept, but after that it goes almost nowhere.

The characters start out completely devoid of personality, save for the Akira whose personality only serves to convince the reader that he is utterly worthless, and in most respects he pretty much is.

The main female love interest, Yurika, falls into the deathly trap that is why-does-he-even-like-her. Yurika starts out as "The Pretty Girl" and not much else, whose sole purpose in life is to be loved by the main character. About half ... way through the manga (when people start acquiring personalities) hers remains one of the most plain.

The story in Gachagacha: The Next Revolution is, at best, mediocre, and moves about as slow as molasses. The love plots move about as much as they do in Ranma 1/2, which is to say not at all.

Gachagacha: The Next Revolution may not be THE BEST, but it is entertaining enough. If you go into this expecting a light hearted romance, that's what you come out with. If you're expecting a Gender Bender, it's certainly got that. But if you're expecting a Masterpiece, you will be disappointed.

I give Gachagacha: The Next Revolution a 3 out of 5.

In all regards this show should be terrible, it's plot is terrible, it's story is terrible, everything is terrible

But for some mind boggling reason, a negative, a negative and a negative equal POSITIVE! You just can't help laughing at the corny jokes in this anime. and even though the plot has seemingly been confused with BREASTS it does show up eventually with a real curve ball

And while the characters have almost no redeeming values and are, frankly, 1, maybe 2 dimensional, you just can't help but root them on, and they're really what drives the show.

Natsuru (the main character in this anime) is at times: ... Identifiable, Lulzy, and Rage worthy. Sometimes all at once!

If you like fan-service, you get a fair amount from Kampfer, but if you're looking for a hentai, this ain't it.

The FIGHTAN isn't quite what i was expecting, being that it's almost non-existent (so far as the latest ep) but i do like the fight scenes they do have.

The art is good. It's not bad, and you get some pretty good screen grabs if you like that (I foresee a lot of amv's coming out of this).

All in all I will most likely be watching this with eager anticipation as it airs.
