My bad, I accidentally sent you my unfinished answer lol.
Anyway, I was just saying it seemed easier to follow it with your order than to go from one series to another over and over so thanks for the answer !
As for light novels, I've never read any but I'll check Monogatari's LN if the anime clicks with me.
And yeah, I'm not sure if they were trying to be helpful and thought a chronological experience would be better but it definitely confused me and seemed a bit overwhelming to handle multiple shows at once for a singular plotline (or many, I don't know how Monogatari handles it's story or stories).
Well, once again thanks for the answer, it makes much more sense than the other one !
I can see you're a fan of the Monogatari series. I've been trying to find the correct watch order for it, but I keep getting different answers as to where to start.
Should I just watch the series in the order it's been released ? Sounds dumb, I know, but some fans told me to actually not begin with Bakemonogatari.
I have the first 14 or so volumes of the Monogatari manga, do you think that would be a good refresher before I jump back into the series? Or would going clean slate with the novels be ideal?
Good to know about Imortal, I'll try to get around to it sometime.
I recommend "Takemitsuzamurai" as a samurai manga. I enjoyed it very much, although that was quite a while ago and I feel I should reread it.
Thanks! I like to think of myself as a monogatari fan because I love everything about the anime presentation wise, but I've yet to watch everything that's out. I always feel like I need to rewatch/reread it because I definitely missed a lot of key themes and have completely forgotten (or never truly understood) many aspects of the characters. Then I just end up intimidated by the task of rewatching it and instead just watch some dog-water seasonal, lol.
Btw, I really enjoyed the "Wave, Listen to Me!" anime, but I keep putting off reading and watching the Mangaka's other works. How similar (or disimilar) is "Blade of the Imortal" to "Wave, Listen to Me"?
If you're not feeling it, just skip to chapter 125 and make a decision about continuing this series
Is quite what happened to me while reading it, can't really get throughout the first 100 chapters as I find it quite boring and with no interesting qualities
