I found this anime to be certainly different from the ones I typically watch. Certainly reminded me of shows like One Piece, DBZ, and Hunter X Hunter in the fact that you have a MC that is OP and has some growth throughout the series.

I did find this series to have a few laughs throughout. Some of the jokes were repetitive after 60 episodes. I also found that the story and progression started strong and steady then it started to plateau and eventually was filled with quite a few filler episodes that you can skip entirely without missing anything.

The last "big" battle ... was pathetic and the final episode didn't even feel like a final one nor rewarding. Though it did tie a bit back into the whole theme and intent of Oga. Reflecting back on the last 10+ episodes of the series I feel like I skipped through 90% of each episode hunting for something interesting and not repetitive.

Overall, still worth the watch just be prepared to hunt for some interesting parts come the later episodes.

Beginning of the show started out strong (first couple episodes) and showed some promise.
The shorter episodes left a bitter taste. I didn't even know anime episodes could be this short.

Story line jumped all over the place and was full of holes not to mention continuously adding new characters out of no where.

I'd like to know how if the new game just started and Suigin was the first to get the console/game how he could be the most amateur/newb out there with no knowledge of this game compared to everyone around him...like wtf. Not to mention he started out ... OP and competent and now is just a floppy wet lame towel.

With so many flaws and holes in this anime at least it has some good potential, perhaps the creator can acknowledge the failures and improve upon them. Honestly there is no where to go but up.
