this isn't going to be a formal review but I just wanted to give my thoughts on Ouran.
I first started watching this about a year ago and just about forced myself to watch the first seven episodes. The first one was good, but I thought it was overrated and didn't really live up to my expectations. This led me to drop it about a week later and pick up another show. As more episodes came out about the backstories of the people in the host club I became more and more interested in the show. If the whole series was just as good as the final episodes were, no doubt would this show be ranked a 9 or 10 for me. I have seen very few shows that have driven me to want to finish it by reading the manga, but for Ouran this is not the case.
If anybody is reading this I HIGHLY recommend you watch this show. It really is beautiful and even if you can't get into it by the first 12 or so episodes, I urge you to finish it!
