Had to stop watching because I felt so uncomfortable to the point where it felt like I was breaking a law by continuing to watch. Don't get me wrong, I'm not the squeamish type in the slightest but you can throw enough taboo topics in succession at anyone and it will make them feel uneasy if they have any kind of a soul. If you want a guilty pleasure edgy anime (or not guilty, hey I'm not judging) Just go with happy sugar life. Shit was absolutely vile but at least it followed a somewhat cohesive plot. In comparison this is just unbearable. It just
...
felt too convenient when the person with the book with the names and photos of all the magical girls came into play like her entire purpose was to be plot fodder. I think it was that point (around ep 3 or so) that I started picking up on the shows faults and decided to drop it. I quite enjoyed the first episode despite my harsh words, it felt like a weird sick crossover of higurashi and madoka magica.
TLDR:
Show was made in poor taste. If you liked the shitshow that was happy sugar life youll probably get a kick out of this. For some reason it just didnt hit that way for me.

I think the main enjoyment I got from the quintessential quintuplets was the arguments of who "best girl" was I got to have from it. If you don't have those groups of friends who are really passionate and love to argue I feel like you'll enjoy this style of anime a lot less. After all, this isn't even close to my top 30 in terms of the story yet Nino's easily in my top 10 characters list. If I had to sell you on the anime I honestly couldn't. To some, the characters may fall into typical "tsundere" or "deredere" tropes and that's a completely
...
valid point. However, if you can get past that and enjoy the anime for the chaotic fustercluck it is I think you'll be able to enjoy it a lot more.

(Review Done @ 6/20 Episodes Complete)
Never in my life have I ever considered THIS hard about giving an anime a 10/10 just from the first episode alone. Even top-tier stuff like AOT took me understanding the full story to appreciate the entire piece as a whole. But "to your eternity." I just felt some sort of connection. You could truly feel what the characters were feeling... if that makes any sense. Also, on top of that, you have an amazing premise about a weird orb thing learning how to become "human." And I mean learning EVERYTHING. A newborn child would show more emotions than this
...
thing did in the first few episodes. I just think this shows truly how complex we are as a species. The fact only one episode was able to make me feel this much shows how to your eternity has the potential to be something special. I really hope I'm not jumping the gun but so far without spoiling the newest episodes I have truly not been disappointed.

(Review Done @ 20/20 Episodes Complete)
Hey guys! It's been 3 months since I first made this review. I just wanted to touch on some things in my old review and give my final thoughts on To Your Eternity. First off- What the actual hell, man. I haven't had a Shounen anime touch me in the feels on a Clannad: After Story level. That's probably the best way I can describe it if I had to be honest (being as spoiler-free as possible). Admittedly- the only episode that made me "Cry-Cry" was episode 1 but there were moments that had me on edge at times. To make an addition to my comments on Fushi it's crazy just how much he changed throughout this season ALONE. You can barely tell he was the same person and gave the whole show a very consistent vibe of "you'll never know what happens next but you THINK you know" as a way to sort of "tease" the viewers, if you will. Overall, I loved this season so much that if season 2 is hot garbage I will be INFURIATED. Please... for the love of god... watch To Your Eternity.

My Sweet Tyrant is a 25 episode short series compromised of 3-minute 33-second short and sweet moments of what is possibly (in my opinion) one of the most BIG BRAIN plays on the Tsundere trope I've seen in a while. This anime is not an investment at all (considering the total time you could watch it in is a little less than 2 hours) and the reward you get is nothing short of amazing.

Story: (8/10)
The story isn't anything to write home about despite some of my previous praises. It's GOOD don't get me wrong, it's a simple and typical slice-of-life setting that doesn't try to do anything out of the ordinary.
Art: (8/10)
I actually found the art to be quite reminiscent of the art in bunny girl senpai. This almost gave me a sort of familiar feeling and only made the show more welcoming. As for people who haven't seen bunny girl senpai it is still a style that you will come to love I'm sure of it.
Sound: (7/10)
Considering 1/3 of the episode time is filled with openings you BET sounds going to be a big factor in this. Sorry for the itty-bitty spoiler but the first OP objectively SLAPS and you cannot tell me otherwise. However, it kinda goes downhill with the second one (hence the 7/10).
Character: (9/10)
Here's the second biggest factor in me absolutely LOVING this show. All of the characters felt like they were written with the purpose of making fun of the tsundere trope. The two main siblings being the biggest example of this, then you got the teacher and Non's father which show signs of this as well. While this may not be the BIGGEST observation and maybe plain obvious to some I just can appreciate a good parody.
Enjoyment: (10/10)
Now for the grand reveal: I know why many reviews are so negative of this anime. Quite honestly I cannot guarantee any of my points to be viewed the same by you as I see them. I very rarely like anime ironically but this may be the first. I find it genius because of an example displayed in one of the episodes. One of the characters purposely gets a 0% on her exam just so she can flirt with her "teacher-crush." This anime almost feels like that exam. It was made knowing everything that they needed to do to succeed- so they did the exact OPPOSITE and scored a "0%"

Am I looking WAY too deep into this? No kidding I am. The main point I would like to address with this review, no matter if nobody sees it or not, is to simply like what you like even if other's think it's not good. Try having a guilty pleasure of your own! It doesn't have to be this anime! honestly, I am going to enjoy coming back to watch this monthly and slowly deteriorate my smooth brain and you should do the same, it's fun! :D

"Words bubble up like soda pop." is a movie that made me pause and think multiple times throughout it. Not because it was deep, but because of how relatable it was. They didn't have to use typical anime cliches to be quirky and try to stand out. The story is simple. Two characters who live drastically different lives both share a common trait: that being insecurity. This is the focal point of the entire film. " No matter what life you live, you'll always have something you hate about yourself. But it'll be OK because someone out there might like that thing about you." I
...
feel they portrayed this point quite well and with decent adequacy. The art and sound were also some of the most unique I've seen in a while. Overall it was nothing too "DEEP" per se, but it is a film I'll be re-watching now and again for sure !!!

So I barely got home from watching this movie in theaters but I HAVE to get my thoughts out. No matter what the elitists may say there is WAY MORE to an anime than its story. MyAnimeList shows 5 categories (story, art, sound, character, enjoyment) but there can be so much more if you look hard enough. So while the movie (admittedly) doesn't have the BEST and most innovative story out there I think it MORE than excels at the other 4 categories. Let's start with the art. Imagine episode 19 but as a 1-hour 40-minute movie and I think that explains it in a
...
nutshell pretty much. Next, sound. I don't get what this refers to but if it means music god every track SLAPPED. These are songs you'll be listening to months down the line, guaranteed! Since we have quite a little cast of characters to look at (mainly Zenitsu, Inosuke, Tanjiro) I think it's safe to say they're about as enjoyable as they were in the anime and barely seemed any different. HOWEVER, you do get to see a new main character who barely had screentime in season 1 so you can feel a little refreshed! Lastly, enjoyment. We all watch movies for enjoyment... right?
Yeah, TL:DR: enjoyment EZ 10/10 if you aren't doing anything and have a couple of hours to spare you definitely won't regret it!

Series Like Talentless Nana makes me wish there was a .5 you could add for anime scores because I would rate this an 8.5/10 instead of 9/10. Here's why...
Talentless Nana is a series that doesn't go above and beyond with a top tier innovative story and at least in the manga, the art style can either be 3/10 or 10/10 depending on the chapter. This is why if you would like to consume the series I would recommend the anime adaptation: at least for now. The anime makes some of the derpy manga moments more watchable and I think they stopped at a decent point
...
to where if they never made a season 2 I would be fine with it. The problem I have with the manga is it's the type that's HORRIBLE to read at a monthly release. With the number of plot twists they throw in it is best consumed binged. It is really enjoyable but you will probably forget a lot of stuff that happened prior due to the release schedule and slowly lose interest in the characters (which are the SELLING POINT in my opinion).
TL: DR --> Watch the anime wait for the manga to finish then binge EZ 9/10 in that case.

I'm not a big manga person and in fact, this is the first manga I've actually seriously gotten into. Because I read my manga online I haven't been able to completely finish Horimiya but I've seen the majority so I definitely feel like I have a solid take on it. Horimiya is nothing special when talking about an innovative story. The slice of life genre suffers from this although it's not necessarily its fault. The selling point of Horimiya I personally noticed was the characters and how they interact. You have some very in-depth looks into each of these characters' personalities from what they portray
...
to others vs what they're actually feeling inside. I feel everyone can at least personally relate to at least ONE character in this manga and they are able to do this without going into the typical rom-com character troupes (e.g typical tsundere, childhood friend, imouto, etc). All in all, you should definitely check out this manga if you're looking for something not too deep but also very funny, cute, and entertaining.

I first watched this anime a few years back and it was one of the first "real" anime that got me into watching anime as a whole. Because of this, I do have a soft spot for love & lies. HOWEVER, that does not excuse the absolute SHITSHOW that this anime is. I wanted this to at the very least be a guilty pleasure so bad but I legit had to drop episode 8 midway through because of the absolute cringefest this was. I gave this an 8/10 first watch through but that dropped to a 5/10. My reason for this is while it is
...
undoubtedly terrible there was a certain aspect I enjoyed. The yaoi. I've never been a big fan of the yaoi genre (probably never will) but I did enjoy the relationship Yukari had with Nisaka and found it pretty wholesome in fact. If you had ANY reason to want to watch this it would be for that reason SOLELY (still not enough IMO). All said and done this is not worth your time and you're better off watching SAO 3 times.

Demon slayer is one of those anime you will have a really hard time going into with a completely unbiased mindset. Your friends have either hyped it up to death or have talked about of overrated it is. I was lucky enough to have not heard much about it on my first watch through so I feel as if I can give a pretty unbiased opinion on it. Demon Slayer (being made by only one of the top tier studios, Ufotable) has absolute immaculate animation I've only been seen topped by few shows (that being JJK and the Fate series). If the gorgeous animation wasn't
...
enough you have an amazing cast of characters with very unique personalities. However, some of them do suffer from the same problem Black Clover did in that they have a trait that is basically used to define them, and every time they're on screen they beat it to death. A good example of how this was used includes the character "Zenitsu" (e.g. always screaming). Long story short, is Demon Slayer worth the watch to see what all the fuss is about??? ABSOLUTELY. Although it wasn't the best after finishing it I did not feel like my time spent was wasted at all.
