It is an undeniable fact that the anime industry is already oversaturated with a lot of these fantasy tropes anime to the point that the genre had become stale. Most of them are adapted from light novels that have these ridiculously long names. However, not all of them are significantly bad or downright horrible because everything will always have exceptions and in this case, with an intermingle chemistry of the Cute Girls Doing Cute Things or CGDCT in short, Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu (BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense)
...
is an anime to behold in its own right.
After watching a couple of episodes, I had realized that it has that Sword Art Online coupled with your standard fantasy DNA within its genes but without an intricate storyline as almost everything from characters diving into a VRMMORPG called New World Online (again, sounds familiar to you? ) to the settings has its own unique touch and feel.
The storyline is nothing much to be seen here considering the fact that it is still a slice of life fantasy anime with 95% of the setting in the anime takes place in the virtual online game. Some people argued that the story is a tad too simple and all rainbows and sunshine for their tastes but for me it's just nice even though there is no major breakthrough in the plot as it can be summarized as the MC who never played a virtual MMO before tried playing the game for the first time as recommended by her best friend and as they continue to level up and recruit new members for their newly built guild, they joined events and raid dungeons at it is as simple as that.
What made me flabbergasted is the animations. These are probably some of the most fluid I have ever seen in any anime ever. The highlight would be the battle scenes. Everything from how the characters used their respective skills with striking visuals to the way they engage in battles is just spectacular indeed. I would dare to say that they are on par with the likes of anime made by Ufotable. Props to the animators who managed to create such wonderful animations within this department. Moreover, the opening and the ending songs are substandard in my opinion, nothing groundbreaking that would make me listen to them a few times but they still did get the job done.
When it comes to the characters and their personalities, as simplistic as they are, all of them have their own charm. Obviously, as the title of the anime implies, we have our cute main protagonist, Mapple (which is her in-game name) who is too afraid to die in the video game although the game didn’t have any consequences like what we had seen in the events of SAO, she still insisted to add the entire vitality stats and maximize her defense when she was making her avatar which resulted in such outrageous outcomes. With her closest friend, Sally, she received all the guidance she needs in order to get used to playing the game. As they continue to level up, they met with more new characters which I am not going to spoil along the way. The interactions between the characters made me laugh sometimes especially when Mapple tried to do something unpredictable as she was so overpowered.
For my overall enjoyment, I did notice some minor issues that would not hinder my amusement when watching the anime. But if I want to nit-pick though, that would be this one particular song that is so overused in almost every episode. The song is great and all but it would be better if they tried not to play the same song all over again. Apart from that, this is a rather fantastic anime that features a calm but competitive atmosphere when people are playing an MMORPG which differs from what you would expect in real-life situations.
If you like fantasy and of course CGDCT based anime and don’t mind the rudimentary plot, then you might like it.
A 9/10 from me

I dont even know why did i watch this anime in the first place. i am not even a fan of harem anime but i still ended up finishing the entire anime for some reason anyway. And that reason probably have something to do with my passion in animals. as the name of the name implies, Murenase! Seton Gakuen is a slice of life mixed with comedy elements that takes place in a world where animals, or should i say anthropomorphic animals learning like normal students would do at an academy. So here is my rather not so long review on Seton Academy : Join
...
the Pack!
One of the things that i really adore is the opening and ending songs, especially the latter like it literally melted my heart every single time i listen to it. It is so cute and lovely to the point that i didnt even skip watching it in almost every single episode. Other than that, the sound design is quite good. the voice actors had done a splendid job portraying the personalities of the characters as shallow and one dimensional as they are.
Speaking of characters, we have our standard main protagonist, Jin who just gotten elected at an academy filled with wild animals and also a person who hate animals because of some incident happened to him when he was a child. Being the only human in that academy, or so he thought until he encountered with a human female whom he fell over heels for her. But wait, where is the harem if the anime has it on the tag? well, that is when a lone wolf named Ranka decided to join the cooking club which started by the human characters and thus begin the daily lives of Jin and his harem as more female animals also joined their pack. To be honest, most of the characters did not really stand out that much and does not help that some of them are really shallow and didnt show not even minor character developments at all.
There is not much story being told as it is basically about the daily lives of members of a cooking club at an animal academy searching for more members to join their pack . There are some issues that are addressed like whether if it is morally okay for different species of animals to become a pack together which is what the members of cooking club unintentionally had initially done.
As i mentioned in the first paragraph about me being a zoology nerd, that is pretty much the biggest reasons why i decided to watch the entire thing. Not only there are short sessions where the narrator will explain general facts on specific animals but i am also surprised on how accurate they are although there are some misinformation that really made me angry. But overall, it is a decent comedy anime and i did laugh at some parts even though the fan service can be a bit overblown at times.
i give it a 7/10

When i first started to watch this anime, i was not really impressed by the cover art of it. I thought to myself that its going to be another generic romcom anime just like the other similar titles that are released in the market nowadays. However i was so wrong after i finished watching the 1st episode and this is where my review of Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet (Juliet's Boarding School) comes in.
Story : 7/10
Just like the title of the anime implies, the plot takes place in a prestigious boarding school where 2 student factions called the Black Dogs and the White Cats from rivaling
...
countries are frequently enganging in a war among each other since they were in elemantary school. the main protagonist, Romio Inuzuka being the leader of the dorms' first-years, wishes for a romance with Juliet Persia, also the 1st year's leader of her division that can never be achieved easily which what caused him to vow himself to change the world and obtain peace between these two factions someday. It has a mixture of slice of life and shounen genre but the story itself is nothing spetacular and that "changing the world" cliche theme can be found in most shounen anime. Now im not going to spoil the plot because it is something that you must watch yourself to gain a better understanding of it but nonetheless, i actually enjoyed it from begining to end.
Art : 9/10
I absolutely love how the developers implement the graphical animations in this anime from the character's elegant movements to the bright and colourful splash of paint on the characters. and speaking of design, they had done a splendid job on the character's facial expressions. all of the female characters are cute and gorgeous and this can be said the same to the badass design male characters as well. You may also realised that the artstyle may share some similarities with certain shoune anime considering that it also has a mixture of shounen style as well. overall, one of the best graphical anime of the season for sure.
Sound : 9/10
Music has always being the key factor in order to make any scenes whether its from video games or movies to be more epic and enganging. and Juliet's Boarding School's soundtrack is no exception. the osts that they used in the anime are probably some of the best ive listened to so far in any romcom anime. every single one of the soundtracks suits really well with the action scenes and the drama that occur between the characters. Not to mention the OP and ED are great as well maybe not to my taste but still good nonetheless.
Character : 8/10
Throughout the episodes, the story mainly focuses on the relationship between the main protagonist,Romio Inuzuka and the heroine, Juliet Persia. to be honest, i really dont like romio that much because on how childish and inmature he can be most of the times. he is supposed to be the leader of his group but due to his relationship with persia, he often forgets about his responsibilities and also becomes too clingy with persia. and speaking of which,Juliet is what the enbodiment of a heroine should be. strong, has a sense of justice, and a high motivation to solve all of the problems that her comrades are facing and most importantly, her kindness towards her friends especially to romio. Other side characters have their own fair share of uniqueness as well. Chartreux being persia's childhood friend is your "ara ara girl with a sexy voice" character. Hasuki, also a childhood friend of Romio is probably the best character in the anime due to her strong will to always keep moving forward no matter what obstacles that she is facing( you will know what i mean if you watch the anime). Overall, almost every one of characters main or support have their fleshed out characterization that makes the story much more interesting to go through.
Enjoyment : 9/10
I was quite suprised that not a lot of people are talking about the show when it was first came out. what makes it different from the other similar titles is how it tries to break the norms of those cliche and generic drama theme that you always encounter in most shows nowadays. its nice and refreshing to see distinctive things from the show. While some people may consider it as an average romcom anime but for those who had watched it will realise how interesting this anime is.
I will rate it an 8/10.

Just a reminder that i had no intentions in watching Aho girl in the first place as just reading the title alone already made me thinks that its one of those shows that are not worth my time at all. The reason i made a decision to watch it is because a friend of mine always telling me to give it a try because apparently its one of the funniest commedy anime to date. Well guess what? i was absolutely disappointed from the begining until the end and right now im going to write a review according to what i think about Aho Girl
...
aka Stupid Girl
Story
what story? since this is a comedy anime there is no story at all. if i actually want to give a brief explanation on what you are going to expect, its about an absurd and remarkably stupid girl (hence the title of the show) named Yoshiko who has an IQ less than the emoji movie's rotten tomatoes ratings that apparently suffers mental disorders. The reason why i mentioned this is because she is really that stupid always makes dumb decisions which could left the viewers disgusted. the entire show revolves around her insane daily lives with her friends who also had absurd personalities which i will cover later in the characters section. and thats about it. each episode is relatively short which lasts for about 10 minutes in total and is divided into specific sketch sections and they are all the same.
Art
There is nothing much to be said here since the artstyle is just plain to look at. i do kinda like the character's designs though especially the girls. They looked really great most of the times. Overall, its your standard animated artstyle that you had already seen several times in dozens of anime.
Sound
Im going to start with the openings and endings. As for the former, well you could say that its the only good thing from the show. I do appreciate the animators who creating a distinctive version for each of the episodes meaning that the sequence animations of the OP will change from 1 episode to the next but the song still remains the same. The ending song on the other hand basicially just merges with the ending sequences in every episode. Voice acting is pretty standard for the most part.
Character
This is like one of a few comedy anime that i found the characters loathful and had no substance at all. Especially the queen of idiots, Yoshiko aka the monkey who cant think wisely than a 6 year old child because basically she is a teenager with mind of a child heck even some children are far more intelligent than her. She is the childhood friend of Akutsu ( A-kun for short) also one of the main character who dont have any friends because the grim expression that he always potray which makes others to stay away from him and seemed to keeps continuing abusing yoshiko whenever she did something idiotic. Now many people would think that its unjustified for him to always hit her whenever he can but if you think about it,no matter what you say to her, it will always comes out from her ears so hitting her might be the only way to shut her up. HOWEVER, he does not need to act rude to his other friends for no reason especially Sumino, the only normal person out of the cast. While she is a kind girl and always wanted to sort problems out i found her quite unnecessary to the show as everything that she did always ended up with a failure. The other side characters are just there without contributing anything to the show at all. The only characters that i like are A- kun's little sister and the dog.
Enjoyment
I do admit that i chuckled a bit in the first early episodes but thats about it. There is almost nothing in this show that is universally funny. when i said universal im talking about slapstick comedy which majority of the people will find it hilarious but the usage of it in this show is absolutely very low effort to the point it becomes irritating and extremely repetitive. Yeah we get it that the monkey likes to eat bananas. yeah we get it that the monkey loves to show her panties to A-kun like heck.
Overall
So far this is by far one of the worse comedy anime ive ever watched and that is saying something as i found the anime Cells at Work even funnier than this unpolished turd. I'll rate it a 5/10

in these modern days when the anime industry is at its pinnacle peak as dozens of strange anime are being made based on either the manga or light novel counterparts. yes im talking about anime that features anthropomorphic characters. anime about animals and anime about blood cells they have them all and Houseki no Kuni is no exception. In fact, its rather an underrated gem (no pun intended) which fell under most peoples' radar just because they found out that it uses CGI animation. Now let me tell you why they are wrong.
Land of the lustrous takes place in a strange world that is
...
inhabited with genderless gems that can actually talk. The story tells us of a precious gem named Phosphophyllite, the main character who "works" along side with the other gems and their Sensei, the guardian and father figure of the gems whom he guides them in their daily lives with only one purpose; to defeat a group of Moon beings called Lunarians which always appeared in the sky sometimes very near to their residental places just to kidnap the gems for some apparent reason. In the first early episodes i found the premise of the plot very confusing as it didnt provide us adequate information on what the plot is actually about but after you proceed watching until the very end,you can realise that the story is a breath of a fresh air, something that seems to be rarely found in modern anime nowadays because its not only just about the daily lives of the gems but it also unravels the origins of the gems and has an overbearing sense of mystery which will keep you captivated until the end of the episode.
Now before you say " oh no its another CGI anime? look what happened to berserk 2016 are you telling me that i should give houseki no kuni a try?" well damn right you should as its artsyle and graphical animations are some of the most gorgeous ive ever seen in recent years. in fact i could proudly say that it if the anime participates in any animation awards, it will probably win which it actually did in the 2017 CG World Awards in the "Best Work in CG Animation" category. The battle animations are absolutely top notch i really enjoyed every single moment of it they are so fluid and polished its like im watching a cinematic cutscenes of a video game! that doesnt include on how vibrant the world of houseki no kuni is from the animated grass fields to the environments as a whole. there is a reason why it was nominated in many animation category awards and you know what? it totally deserves it.
The tranquill osts of the anime really captures the setting and the characters where at one moment you feel the sense of calmness as the gems gazed into the beautiful environments monologing their curiosities about themselves and the world around them while in other moments you can grapse the ambience of epicness when the gems are fighting with the Lunarians in the sense that it actually creates some sort of balance with the right usage of the music. I could say the same with the openings and endings especially the intro which does a splendid job representing the struggles of the main character trying to comprehend the world around her.
Perhaps the strongest selling point would be the characters themselves especially in terms of the main character's interaction with the other gems. You got Phosphophyllite which has the lowest hardness according to the Mohs Scale (measurement of qualitative ordinal scale characterizing scratch resistance of a particular mineral/gemstones) compared to her (i had to used "her" as although the gems are genderless, their voice actors and body figures resembles that of a female so yeah) other friends but at the same time behaves like a hyperactive child wanting to show to her growth and maturity to her friends which she fails miserably as she always puts herself into trouble resulting in many unforseen accidents from being kidnapped by the lunarians to letting one of her comrades to be in various vulnerable situations. At first you may find her annoying, constantly boasts herself that she can do anything despites her being the weakest and the most fragile of them all but as the series progresses you will realise that her characterisation will drastically improve as she experienced occurings that teaches her the harsh and brutal reality in front of her eyes. While she maybe had that kind of personality at the begining but i actually found her really cheerful,a happy go lucky girl which she always embodies a smile in my face. That is how massive her level of character development is.
Moving on to the side characters is also something that i have to praise to the animators for actually creating characters that blends really well in their world. Its one of the few anime out there that potrays the side characters not just being you know side characters that dont contribute any subtle or meaningful happenings to the show but here we have Dia (a diamond gem) probably the side character that i love the most and she is absolutely adorable i feel like i wanted to hug her! However he struggels seems to be different compared to the MC as her characterization in general is to proves to the one she loves, her best friend Bort that she can take care of herself which i think something that i appreciate. Other characters while not being that crucial to the overall plot also had their own distinguishable personalities to carry their own weight.
In a nutshell, whether you are offended to the fact that the characters are genderless despites being gemstones or not, Houseki no Kuni is definitely worth the watch. Although it had some minor flaws which could influence the enjoyment of many viewers, i really recommend this anime to almost every anime fan out there. from the beautiful CGI animations to the well rounded plot to how fantastic they incorporated the chemistry between the characters, its another one of those "anime that features humanized characters" genre that you should place in your watch list. overall i give it a 9.3/10

Summer 2018 is undeniably one heck of a ride with all of the most hyped and anticipated anime be it sequels or original adaptions but there is one particular unique anime that stands out from the rest of the titles and that is Cells at Work! or also known as Hataraku no Saibou. Japan never fails us in providing us anime that contain personifications of inanimated objects or living things like Houseki no Kuni (anime about gems) and Kemono friends (anime about wild animals) and both of them were breaths of fresh air in the modern anime industry and Cells at Work is no execption.
...
STORY : (7)
the rest of the plot takes place in a personified human body where billions of trillions of anthropomorphic cells are living there, working all day without taking a break at all just like our real life body cells. it also focuses on two main characters, the red blood cell who always get lost whenever she goes and a relentless white blood cell who always gets his job done fighting invading pathogens. to be specific there is almost no plot in the entire episodes each of the episodes tells a single story about each of the cells specific functions and what they contribute to the human body. there are some laughs here and there but the most crucial is how the narrator explains the functions of the cells whenever they make their first appearance to the point that it already becomes an educational tool for those who dont have any background in biology which is a good thing indeed as a lot of anime nowadays are lacking it.
ART : (8)
the series was made by a studio that Jojo fans are familiarized with, David Production. While most of their works are not really that groundbreaking, the visuals in this anime is actually decent. i really love how bright the settings are not to mention the graphical expressions of the characters as they interact with each other. Unfortunately, the background settings are not really that great. its average at best with all of the dull looking buildings which can be an eyesore to some people. one thing that i want to praise is how accurate they designed the pathogens. for instance, the bacterium actually do have those tentacles-like parts which are something that are attached to real life bacterium. with all of these amazing details and how each of the anthropomorphic cells look very different from each other, the studio did their best.
SOUND : (8)
im going to start with the opening and ending songs. for starters, the OP song is quite catchy to listened to although some people may actually dont like it that much. What amazed me is that the seiyuus are actually the ones who sang the song. as for the ending, i feel like it is charimastic and relaxing in the sense of like after all of the chaotic moments in a particular episode (yeah im not kidding) and this song plays, it will put a smile in your face. and most crucially, the voice actors notably the famous Kana Hanazawa who played the role of Erythrocyte chan she really did an absolutely splendid job heck some people solely watched cells at work just because she played a role of the main character it shows how many people adored her voice although she appeared in dozens of anime that it some people got bored with it. the other seiyuus also performed a great job potraying each of the characters professionally.
CHARACTER : (9)
if there is one thing that im going to praise a lot,it would be the cast of the cells mainly Miss Red Blood Cell chan. Kana Hanazawa is perhaps the best seiyuu which fits her clumsiness and overreactions most of the times. Some might found our cute RBC quite a bit annoying with her trademark of being lost in almost every episode but that is how she is. Mr White Blood Cell on the other hand, is the complete opposite of her. Being one of the few blood cells in the human body's immune system to annihilate any invading pathogens. He can be quite serious and ruthless most of the times but from the inside, he's actually kind hearted always protecting RBC from the shadows. Other than that, probably the most lovable character by the fandom is of course adorable little Platelet chan, another important cell which helps to coagulate wounds. although her appearance is not that frequent but whenever she did, it always sent smiles to our faces. Of course there are other great characters as well i can gurarentee that you will find them likeable.
Enjoyment : (9)
Like i said earlier at the begining of the review, this anime is a breath of fresh air that not only it serves as a form of entertainment but at the same time viewers can also learn a bit of two about the characteristics and functions of the cells which these anthropomorphic cells professionally displayed in the show. Unfortunately, the pace can get a bit repetitive in nature due to the fact that almost every episode begins with pathogens invading the body, a new cell is introduced to destroy them and the end. there are however some episodes that change the pace which makes it less daunting to watch especially the last episode which in my opinion is very dark and gritty. but overall Hataraku no Saibou is a fantastic anime which even non anime fans will find it enjoyable. if you dont have anything to watch and looking for something fresh and new also if you are passionate in biology just like i am, then this show is worth the watch!
Overall : (8.6)

Grand Blue was not under my radar eventhough a lot of people had already talked and discussed about it considering how well known it is throughout the community because my first impressions told me that it was going to be another generic slice of life anime. However, once i gave it a 2nd change, that is when all of my point of view completely changed. and here is why :
1. Story (7)
well there is not much of a story considering that it is still belong to the slice of life category but to summarize the things that you are going to expect from here onwards,
...
it all started when an adult teen named Iori Kitahara went off to his uncle's diving shop in order to prepare for his college life but that was when he encountered the local Diving Club, at first you would probably had thought that its going to be just a normal diving club but turns out it consist of full of buff men who spend more time drinking, partying, and stripping naked than actually diving instead, now that's a plot twist! Anyhow, he also met her cute cousin who was then unfortunately had a wrong first impression about Iori and thus beging Iori's journey with the rest of the crew of the diving club.
2. Art (9)
the visuals are absolutely top notch.Probably some of the best ive seen in recent memories and quite an achievement for a comedic anime like this. all of the character's expression and superb animation really does bring the whole setting to life especially when the whole team when off diving in the ocean along with its breathtaking and crystal clear open waters. Although, character's overreacting facial animations are just cherry on top but they are being overused quite a lot that it can sometimes become stail but overall, fantastic visuals and animation indeed.
3. Sound (8)
for this category, i feel like the seiyuus did a splendid job playing the roles of the characters. the voices actually blended really well with the character's personalities. if im going to spell out even more, their voice acting might be on par as gintama's character voice acting with all of those overreacting moments which is something very great indeed. as for the music, its your typical and standard slice of life background music without anything noticable but its decent for its own.
4. Characters (9)
in my honest opinion, i really like the interactions between the characters. every single one of them had their own style of doing things and unique relationships. for instance, Iori Kitahara and his otaku weirdo friend, Kohei who was tricked to enter the diving club have probably one of the best chemistry in all history of comedic anime. whatever they did from blowing up antics to getting themselves into trouble, they always made me laugh. the same goes to the side characters notably Azusa, she is not one of those kind of "generic women tropes" you can see why if you watch the anime. However, the only character that i dislike are Ryuijiro and Shinji aka the "drunken duo" not in the sense of pure hate its just that their roles most of the time are just getting drunk and strip naked. i do admit that they can be pretty serious sometimes especially when it comes to diving lessons but forcing iori and kohei to join their alcohol party is something that i really dont like from them eventhough those 2 had grown accustomed with drinking alchohol.
5. enjoyment/personal opinion (9)
at first when i first found out that the anime is mostly about university students doing crazy stuffs like getting drunk and having a naked party i was turned off by the concept since the cover title literally tells the audience that its going to be an anime about diving. well fortunately it did provided us 3 episodes about diving and im really glad that the characters took it seriously. After i finished the anime, it turned out to be actually great! i was entertained with all of the hilarous moments from it and this is coming from a guy who dont usually watch slice of life anime. if you want to look for comedic anime that doesnt use the cliche tropes and wouldnt mind with all of the over drinking and getting naked stuffs then you should give it a try.
6. overall (9)

Its really rare and hard to find funny anime like Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou nowadays because every single moments from the anime are all unforgetabble indeed! this is the kind of anime that will always makes you laugh really hard that even non anime fans will also find the characters absolutely hilarious xD
Daily Lives of High School Boys illustrates about a group of 3 high school boys named Tadakuni,Hidenori and Yoshitake and their daily lives as high school students. Yep. Since this is a comedy genred anime theyre no stories
...
or plots or whatsoever and the anime has a total of 12 episodes. You can finish watching the anime for a day though and since its a 2012 anime, the graphics and the art style are pretty normal but that doesnt stop me from watching it cuz its the comedy that we"re after.
The most crucial thing however is the characters. i was only in the first episode and they were already stimulates my funny bones xD Also, i was quite suprised that the characters have the same voice actors that played as chacacters from the well known anime. In addition, the opening and ending are all superb especially the ending which i never missed in every single episode.
So far,it is one of the funniest anime ive ever watched. i dont have the reasons to dislike this anime because im sure that the people out there that already watched it will feel the same exact thing that i have now. I really recommend this anime to every fellow anime fans out there and whats more,it will be more funnier if you watch it with friends :D so in the end,ill rate this anime a 9/10 overall.

Well this is my first time writting a formal review of an anime online as i usually done it on facebook or any other related social websites. So back into business. The anime Charlotte is one of the newly released animes that was being released as a summer 2015 anime and it has a total of 13 episodes. The story tells us about a young boy who develops superhuman abillities which he used it for his general purposes until he met another group of people who also posessed those special abillities too and that is when the story
...
begins. Thus, they are many aspects that i want to stress and to make you comprehend completely about this anime.
Firstly,is about the storyline. To be honest, the whole plot is mainly about the characters' depressing and painful life stories as they continue with their lives along with their superhuman abillities. The episodes are fit together neatly into a continuous story but if we talk about the ending,it is way too rush. There are whole lots of unexplained things and questions and they are plot holes too that is supposed to be explained in the next season but i dont think that will happen. However, the story is actually pretty interesting and unique too but the suspense after one episode ends is really huge. Also, some of the comedies made by the characters can sometimes be funny and hilarious. Most crucially, every episode will harbour tons of feelings and sadness.
Secondly, the artstyle is simply a masterpiece. I mean just look at the graphics of the sceneries and even the characters, are quite marvelous! to be honest, the first time i watched the first episode i was really flabbergasted by its flawless graphics and this makes the anime, the story and the characters well suited. When in terms of the characters' designs, i sometimes find them not that appealing as some of them had really huge eyes and sometimes the nosebleed of Ayumu isnt necessary in the anime. Overall, their appearance did match their personalities and attitudes.
Furthermore, all I can say that the opening and ending songs are really superb! they really fit well with the atmosphere and the storyline of the anime and as well as the characters. You got this fantasy feeling as you are listening to these songs in a fantasy realm. Next is the seiyuus. Well some of them really fits the character like Nao with her light-kuudere but deep voice (I dont know how to describe it). There is this band called ZHIEND which Nao really likes and i am surpised that they also made outstanding music and as a result, i really love their music!
To make a review about the characters,I will start with the worst and the best. The first is Ayumi Otosaka. After her first tribute in the early episodes,I already cant tolerate her extreme" loliness" personality, her overused "desu" words and most obviously, her nosebleeds but im glad that it was over before i knew it. Next are the protagonists and Im going to start with Yuu Otosaka. His personalites had a lot of negatives like using his power to cheat in exams, doesnt wanted to listen to other's opinions and the like in the first early episodes but as he met Nao,the Student President Council,he gained a lot of things and before he knew it,he had done of of the most generous and heroic attributes in his life. The minor characters arent that many but some of them did play their own roles like the mysterious girl who wanted to kill Ayumi. The narrators are the characters themselves but only appeared at the first and the end of the series if im not mistaken.
To conclude,Charlotte is an interesting and delightful anime as it upholds the depressing moments and flashbacks of the characters like losing someone you love, protecting your family members by any means and being kidapped as lab mice for greedy needs. Personally i really enjoyed this anime as the genre of the anime are supernatural and fantasy and those are the things that are compulsory in any anime that i watched although not every single one of them. In my opinion some of the people will dislike this anime because of the major flaws but at the same time Charotte can teach you lots of valuable lessons and moral values. If you like tragic and sad moments, not to mention supernatural related things, this anime is for you.
