...then you might like Seto no Hanayome add

The World of Narue and Seto no Hanayome both focus on the romantic yet quirky relationships between a spineless teenage boy and his supernatural girlfriend (in Hanayome, it's the main character's wife, but you get the idea). Both female leads appear to be the ones "leading" the relationship while the leading males constantly watch their backs for any aliens or yakuza mermen tracking them down. The supernatural elements of both shows seem like afterthoughts put in to make the shows more interesting, but if you like the combination of high school romance and fantasy/supernatural action but want something a little funnier, give Seto no Hanayome a try.

...then you might like Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin add

Rainbow and Gurren Lagann are two shows that take place in vastly different worlds, but they both share the theme of brotherhood and sacrificing oneself for the sake of others. Although both shows have that standard shonen theme flowing through the story and characters, Rainbow tends to be more mature in expressing that brotherly bond, whereas GL is more lively and animated. If you liked Rainbow's passionate portrayal of brotherhood, then you might like Gurren Lagann.

If you liked Baccano! add

...then you might like Senkou no Night Raid add

Both anime feature characters in certain organizations (an army special ops group in Senkou and the mafia in Baccano!) that have superhuman powers, but they do not distract from the historical setting of the anime. If you like how these two elements do not overpower each other, then I recommend this anime.

...then you might like Romeo x Juliet add

Juliet Capulet, the heroine of Romeo x Juliet, is the Utena Tenjou of a new generation. She's tomboyish, independent, and passionate, but, like Utena, her romantic dilemma slowly comes into conflict with her tasks as a hero. If you're tired of seeing moe schoolgirls and crabby tsunderes as female leads and want more heroines like Utena, give Romeo x Juliet a try. You might just end up rooting for the House of Capulet.

...then you might like Ristorante Paradiso add

The waiters in Ristorante not only capture the hearts of their customers like the boys of the Ouran Host Club, but they also all have their own unique attributes despite most of them wearing glasses. Nicoletta, like Haruhi, questions the strange yet entrancing ways of these gentlemen and eventually becomes fond of the warm atmosphere surrounding them and the restaurant they call home. If you want a more European version of Ouran without all the frills and sparkles (and a bit of pasta, too), then give Ristorante Paradiso a try.

If you enjoy surreal world and thought-provoking yet somewhat confusing plotline of La Maison, then you'll find a lot more of that in Angel's Egg. You can not only give your brain a 90-minute workout, but you can look at some nice eye candy as well.

Don't be fooled by their childlike exteriors. Both Kaiba and Chirin no Suzu combine cute artistic styles with in-depth, often dark themes.

If you like well-drawn anime with stories that can be dark and light-hearted at the same time, then I highly recommend Scrapped Princess.
