I've actually played the Game on iOS, "Love Live! School Idol" before i watched the Anime so yes, that is how i actually knew about this Anime. After watching this Season and playing the Game, they seem to not be connected to each other, which is a plus to those who already started on the Game first followed by the Anime.
Story: 8
The story is entirely focused on saving the school due to low Student applicants. Honoka and her Friends decide to start an Idol Club for their school to hope to attract more students to save the school.
Art: 9
I absolutely find the Art in this
...
Anime very cute. I also like the fact that CGI is used in the Live Shows. Some many not like the idea of 3D CGI, but it works well in this Anime where all the Characters are dancing. Its like seeing a live concert of dancers on stage dancing and you should see every move with different angles.
Sound: 9
Yes, this is a Music genre Anime, so you will expect Music to play. As with any Music based anime, its a bit difficult to Review a song because everybody has different taste in music. If you love J-Pop and Idol music (i don't know the term for it) then you will enjoy the Music here.
Characters: 8
All the Characters are sweet, cute, and funny girls that you will surely love. As the story progresses, you learn more of the characters and many conflicts they will encounter along the way.
Enjoyment: 9
I am a huge fan of these types of Anime and i really enjoyed watching it. From the comedy to the seriousness to the Drama and of course the dancing and singing. Overall, i'll give this Season a 8 out of 10 and i do recommend watching this if you love Music-genre Anime.

I've been a Pokemon fan for a very long time. Pokemon Blue was my very first Pokemon game to ever play. If It weren't for the original Pokemon Games (Red/Blue), Pokemon wouldn't be very successful today. Its about time we appreciate these older games that brought Pokemon where It is today.
>> STORY (8.0)
Pokemon: The Origins is pretty much based on the Story of the Pokemon Red and Blue games. It may be short, but Its very simple for those who never played the games before.
>> ART (10)
The Art matches the same exact style from the Games. If you compare this to the main Anime
...
with Ash Ketchum, they clearly use a different Art style to produce this Special Series.
>> SOUND (10)
Beautifully remastered sounds from the Original Games. I am hoping they plan on releasing a Soundtrack so I can hear the new versions of the battle songs and such.
>> CHARACTER (8)
Both Red and Green are the counterparts of Ash Ketchum and Gary except that they are more aiming towards completing the Pokedex, just as the games would expect you to do.
To sum up this short Review, I'd suggest ANYONE who used to love the Original games to go ahead and watch this Special. Its very short and shouldn't take up your whole day.

Let's put aside the biased of the Male and Female demographic because that doesn't make a Series more "GOOD" or "AWESOME". I watch Anime for entertainment and Story, I do not care If It is catered to a certain Audience. Free, for some reason was very anticipated many Female viewers prior to Its airing. Many Male viewers began hating on Free saying that Its "GAY" even prior to Its premiere date. I'm a Male myself and I will be honest with you, I did enjoy Free from Episode 1 up to Episode 12. Yes, there were some Fan Services in the Anime, but nothing for
...
me to drop the Anime as a whole because I love the Story, Music, and Art. K-ON! was catered to Male viewers as well, yet the Females don't complain about It. I don't know what makes Free hated by Males. Don't many of us guys enjoy having a good looking Body? If so, why hate Free just for that?
[STORY] 8.0 /// [CHARACTER] 7.0
I was expecting Free to be another Plotless Anime because of Its SPORTS genre. Keep in mind, I'm not an avid watcher of the Sports Genre in anime so this is technically my first time watching an Anime from that Genre. It proved to be wrong when I saw 1-2 Episodes where It did have the potential to have a great Storyline. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Plot. Everything was well fleshed and easy for many viewers will understand. The Ending was absolutely well done no doubt.
[ART/SOUND] 10.0
Animated by the same Company who did Kanon, Clannad, Hyouka, Chuunibyou, and K-ON! another excellent job for Kyoto Animation for producing such amazing Art for Free. This Anime does share some similar Art Style from Hyouka and a little bit from Chuunibyou, especially the character designs. The Water and the Environments are top notch. Watching it in 720p looked absolutely beautiful. I was also impressed with the Music that was used in the Background. Mixed with Acoustic tunes to some Electronics like Dubstep that fits well with the Scenes.
To Sum it all up, Free is not a bad Anime to watch. If you are a Male viewer who wants to watch It, just watch It. Don't be ashamed to watch It just because Its for Females. I can't say for Fan Services, but again don't let that stop you. With that said, that's all I have to say for my Review of Free. And I do look forward to Next Season in 2014.

When I heard about this Anime from a Anime Magazine, I thought It looked decent. I even checked out the Opening prior to watching It and my first Impressions was "I think this might be a decent Anime." Guess what? It wasn't that fantastic. As a huge watcher of the Slice of Life and School Life Genre, I can see this Anime as an attempt to be like K-ON. Four Girls just having fun with their High School Life.
Story? What Story? You don't expect huge Plot in these types of Anime.
Art (7.5): Art wasn't half bad. Although Yuuko's Character Design looked out of place
...
compared to other Characters.
Sound (8.0): The only thing I even enjoyed with this Anime is the OST. I like the melody, lyrics, and tone to the Music, makes me want to download the Soundtrack for It.
To sum up this quick Review, Do I recommend this Anime for people to watch? I would say MAYBE. For someone who enjoys Slice of Life and School Life, I would suggest you find something else other than this. The Comedy is mediocre and the pacing is quite slow. Add both of that, your going to be sitting through 12 Episodes of a "boring" Anime. Then again, Its just the way I feel about this Anime. I'm not saying that this is BAD, but Its not the worst I've seen. If you just want to see girls having fun together, I would recommend this for you, but If your the type of person who enjoys these type of Anime, go look for something else.

I figured I should do a Review of Clannad: After Story since I really love this Anime so much. In fact, this was the Series that brought my Interest back into Anime. So I've completed this Series about a year ago, but at the time, I didn't have a myanimelist account so I was unable to make a Review. Since everything is stuck in my head about the Series, I might as well Review It, just in case you guys haven't watched It or thinking about watching It.
Clannad: After Story takes place right after the Original Season, Clannad. Everybody is about to Graduate from High
...
School and finally begin to experience life as an Adult. Both Tomoya and Nagisa will begin their own Family together in this Series. Meanwhile, Tomoya will also face the truth behind his Life with his Father when he a little boy. The Story is very interesting and should fit quite well in our day to day lives as most of us might be Parents someday and this Anime does provide some Moral lessons about Family. Like I said already, After Story is entirely focused on Family as well as the illusionary world that was referred in the First Season, this time, more in-depth of what It really means.
Clannad and Clannad: After Story are very well done in terms of Animation and Art Style. Some may say the Eyes are too big, but in reality, Its not really a big issue. I also love how the Animators animated the illusionary world because It feels much smoother than other Anime I've seen.
The Clannad Soundtrack is beautiful to listen to. In fact, I have all the Clannad OST on my computer and they are really nice to listen to. Beautiful melody and beautiful lyrics is what makes the OST really great.
I personally have enjoyed Clannad: After Story quite well, which is why I gave It a perfect 10. The Story is beautiful, happy, and sad all at the same time. It also makes me want to think about the Future because like I said, all of us will eventually become Parents. And since After Story is entirely focused on that aspect of Family, you could learn a thing or two or just get inspiration of what being a Family is all about. I'll admit, I've cried about 3 times in this Series because of how well the feelings were executed in the Series. On top of that, you also have the most beautiful, yet sad BGM playing which adds more emotion to those particular scenes. To sum It up, I HIGHLY suggest you watch After Story right after you finish the Original Season. This won't be a disappointment.
Just a little EXTRA for some people. If you are interested in the OFFICIAL ENGLISH DUB of Clannad, I'm going to give a little Review about the voices. I admit, the English Dub for Clannad is not half bad. I really love Matranga, David's voice when he played as Tomoya. He really did a great job in putting all those emotions into his Character. I have no complaints with the English Dub at all. I thought they did a fantastic job in choosing the perfect cast for voicing a such wonderful Series. If I were to rate the English Dub for Clannad, It would be a 9.5/10.

Since Lucky Star doesn't have a Plot I'm gonna try to make this Review simple as possible.
Well yes, like I said Lucky Star doesn't have a Storyline, Its basically your average School Life Anime. I personally found Lucky Star boring in some way because It felt like they kept doing the same thing over and over. As far as Comedy goes, It isn't that great, but not terrible. I do like the fact that Lucky Star does reference other TV Shows/Movies, such as Pokemon, Harry Potter, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
Overall, I think Lucky Star would have been better off by having 13
...
Episodes rather than a full blown series of 24 Episodes when nothing good happens, story-wise.

The entire point of this OVA is getting the "Hokago Tea Time" members performing their very first Public gig. They were invited by Maki, one of the drummers in the band called, "Love Crisis" and is also friends with Ritsu and Mio.
Story: 8/10
Already mentioned It above that basically the entire OVA is getting the girls to perform their first public concert to celebrate the New Year's Eve.
Art: 10/10
Still the same across all the K-ON Episodes.
Sound: 10/10
Something you can already hear from previous Season 1 Episodes. Nothing too important.
...
Character: 10/10
Its really great to see them working their way to become Pro players. I guess having their first public gig will motivate them even more to reach their goal to go "Budakon" as what Yui says (also mentioned at some point in Season 2).
Enjoyment: 8/10
To be honest, they should have played all 4 songs instead of 1. Probably Its because of time constraints, but in my opinion, It wouldn't hurt to make one more OVA to continue off from this. Basically, a Part II for their Live House! concert.
Overall: 8/10
Still a great OVA, nonetheless. Like I said about more music, I would have liked It to see them Perform all 4 songs. They should have just made this particular OVA a introduction to the Live House! event as well as preparing for the actual concert. Then they should have released a Part II of the OVA to continue off from last Episode where they play all the songs.

You might think I may be biased on K-ON because of the perfect 10, but I would like to explain It a bit further why I gave It a perfect 10. Following up from my Review of the First Season, I did mention that they spend more time on Tea Time rather than practicing, which is still a common thing here on K-ON. I always thought the whole series would be all about Music, but turns out to be the average life of High School girls. Not that I hate It or anything, but I would have liked to see the series adapt to more
...
music time because that is what K-ON was advertised or known for which is "MUSIC".
However, I did change my views on K-ON when I began with Season 2. I felt that Season 2 was better to enjoy because of the longer Episodes. I also find them to be enjoyable even without practice or music time. On top of that, Yui, Mugi, Ritsu, and Mio are all Seniors, they will be graduating while Azunyan will be stayed back, while the girls are off to College. It tells me that this Series seems to be more focused on friendship and High School life than Music, which isn't necessary a bad thing. If you were expecting tons of Music in this Anime, I'm sorry, but you will be disappointed.
Story [10/10]
K-ON! (both Seasons) do not follow a sequential plot like certain Animes do. Heck, you go right ahead and watch Season 2 WITHOUT Season 1 because there is nothing major that happens in the first Season. Unless you want to sit through 12 Episodes of Yui getting started on learning the Guitar as well as getting the Light Music Club together. But the choice is up to you, not mine. What Season 2 seems to be aiming for is graduation since the "Senpais" are Seniors now. That's pretty much sums up of what your going to expect in Season 2.
Art [10/10]
I was very impressed on how well the characters are designed as well as the environments. In my opinion, I found that Season 2 felt a lot smoother in terms of animations. I was disappointed by the last Episode of Season 1 because of the bad frame rates of their concert. I'm glad to see KyoAni improving the animations in this Season. Very impressed on how well everything is synchronized from vocals to the instruments.
Sound [10/10]
I loved all the Music in K-ON, they were all easy to listen to and has that "Happy" feeling to It, which makes me like It even further. However, this may vary by your taste of music so I can't really judge If the music is good or not since Its entirely your opinion. I guess If you like music with a full band, I'm sure your going to like It.
Character [10/10]
All Characters are perfectly well done, nothing much to complain here. I find them amusing at times and overall seeing them having a good time together.
Overall, K-ON is one of the most nicest Anime I've ever watched so far (followed by Clannad). Mainly because of graduation, which I'm sure 100% of us will or have faced in life. I'll be honest here, I was crying towards the end because I didn't want to see them all go, I was completely attached to these characters. Like I said above, K-ON seems to be aimed towards Friendship & High School life rather than music.

Story: 6/10
The whole story really with K-ON is forming the Light Music Club as well as getting Yui to start practicing with her Guitar. The problem I have is the unexpected jumps from each Episode. In the first half, It has only been 1 year since forming the club with 4 Members and after that, towards the end of the series, another member joins, which in turn adds another year. When Azusa joins the band as another guitarist, Yui herself doesn't know much about Guitars, especially when she asked Azusa about tuning and all the other stuff. By 1 year, Yui should have at least
...
some knowledge on using the Guitar not just working on the notes. Which brings up to another problem. It seems too quick for Yui to perfect all those notes for a beginner. As much as I agree with "They are good when they play together!" I still don't understand how you can perform that great on stage as a beginner. I probably guess they wanted to fit all the plot in 12 Episodes, but at the same time, It really makes the entire story confusing. It could have been interesting to see Yui working step by step on the Guitar and then have a concert later on. I honestly think they have shown too much "Tea time" Fillers instead of rehearsing together as a band. But of course, we don't always want to watch them constantly practice and instead, just balance both of them out.
Art: 8/10
At first, the characters looked pretty weird because I was completely used to the style that other Animes follow. As I kept watching It, I've gotten used to It. It might be weird for some people, but It will eventually grow on you as you keep watching.
Sound: (8/10)
This rating may vary by other people's taste in music. If you really aren't a big fan of Japanese music, then I guess you probably won't enjoy K-ON as much. But If you a fan of Japanese Music (any genre really), K-ON might be a good choice. The OP and Outro is fantastic. As I kept watching It, I've always listened to It and not skip It unlike other animes I watch where I sometimes skip some OP and Outro. The Concert Music is pretty awesome as well. Like I said, It just comes down to your taste in Japanese music.
Character: (7/10)
Every character seems to be just fine. Nothing to really complain about. Just your typical 4 (later on, 5) girls doing their part on having fun as a band.
Enjoyment: (8/10)
Despite the confusing story, I really enjoyed this Anime. And one of the first Anime that I completed in a week since I tend to procrastinate when I watch. I guess the Music kept me entertained the whole time.
Now that I finished Season 1, I'm looking forward to see what Season 2 has to offer. At least now they have 24 Episodes rather than 12 Episodes like this. Season 1 could have at least 24 Episodes to prevent bad first impressions of the show, but hopefully Season 2 will fix that.

Such a short Anime, but Its too cute to resist to be honest. Acchi Kocchi is mainly about love and having fun with friends.
Story (8.5/10)
To be honest, this anime doesn't really have a storyline to follow. Most of the time, you will see Lo and his friends just having their fun times outside & inside of school. I was expecting heavy romance as well (such as holding hands, kissing, etc), but you won't find It here. Like I said, this anime doesn't have a storyline to follow, but tons of comedy you will find here.
Art (10/10)
The art in this anime is absolutely cute
...
no doubt.
Sound (10/10)
Nothing really to complain about. The BGM is really good and It fits well with the series.
Character (10/10)
I don't see much to give this a low rating. All the characters in the series are fantastic.
Enjoyment (10/10)
I have been enjoying Acchi Kocchi since I started watching It. It gave me the laugh that really sets my mind somewhere else. Sure the story is not relevant, but the comedy in this series is awesome! Sometimes the nose bleed gag is annoying, but that's not going to give this anime a bad rating just for that overused gag.
Overall (9/10)
After you really watch a long anime series and you want some fun anime to watch for the time being, Acchi Kocchi is not to disappoint. Storyline won't matter, but for sure It will make you laugh.
