I really liked the premise - a hero being extremely cautious. It reminded me of myself both when playing an MMORPG and overbuying healing potions and in real life as well.

But after 10 episodes I rated it as 1 and dropped it. In 10 episodes I had a chance to meet many characters who were mostly women, and all of them were belittled by the MC.

So, by 10 episodes it was clear that it was a gender thing. Unfortunately, I would love if they kept the premise of him being cautious.

All woman characters were ... stupid, hysterical, illogical, etc. - typical degrading stereotypes of women. Women characters were not likeable. I tried my best to ignore this part of the show, but in 10 episodes it became overwhelming.

I wouldn't enjoy same plot with reversed genders.

This show is a dream of misogynists, unfortunately.

This anime is too good to be true.

Every character is so beautiful and the cinematography is amazing. You end up taking lots of screenshots. It's hard to choose one favourite character.

There is no fan service whatsoever and every character has depth and every character is likeable and has believable motivation and struggles and idk this is an exceptional show.

It reminds me of Naruto and Darker Than Black. But some characters are unique. For example Dazai. I guess in the beginning you could kinda compare him to Yato from Noragami, but his further development is something I have never seen before.

There is ... a perfect mix of comedy and action and drama and everything. So many characters and I want to know more so definitely will be reading manga.

I think it's my favourite show now.

I think this was a great anime show in so many ways.

Epic fantasy story with humour and great characters, including female characters who have both physical power and willpower as well! Every episode was great.

Loved the main character Nina, her haircut was also so cute! Then we have Azazel who has this tragic story and he is just so hot and also a great person, and such a badass. He just checks all the marks.

And when something tragic happens in this show, it doesn't feel like they put it just to have a tragic plot. It feels natural and not fake. Every death ... feels natural.

And in the end it reminded me of Supernatural TV series. And I loved the parallel between first season sacrifice and this season.

Yes there was some inconsistencies with the king motives, but honestly I don't care. Because overall it was 10/10 anime.

I dropped this show on episode 2, because it's about bullying. Most of the "funny" scenes are built on making fun of one of the girls. Yes she is naive, but nobody deserves to be treated like that.

I think the target audience for this show is middle school bullies. Yes they will enjoy this show and their actions will be validated, because according to this show it's totally fine to be a bully.

For the rest of us who are seeking a light and fun anime, it's not the right one. It will trigger in you emotions of unfairness and feeling bad for ... the "victim".

Was all that poop vomit piss really necessary?

Also genital references. Would give it higher rating, I just don't understand why so much focus on urine and stuff like that was necessary. Art and animation is so beautiful and these fluids just kill the vibe. Also their punishment is to be hanged naked? Why naked? Characters are 12 which makes all this weirder.

Another thing, I would love if characters had some compassion towards animals they meet as well. I understand the world they live in, main food source is meat, but still. They could explore flora more and not rely on fauna only. Would be ... more enjoyable to watch.

I am on episode 14 right now and I enjoy it so much!

This is an anime you can watch before you go to bed or in bed before you fall asleep. You will get lots of "aww cute" moments, laugh, and get your mood elevated.

It is not a series that will make you put your life away to watch next episode, but instead you can turn it on whenever you need it.

Characters:
I loooove the characters in Blue Exorcist! Everyone! Nothing extreme and female characters have normal size boobs! No fetish elements either. For example in Fairy Tail you would get lots of foot ... fetish vibes, nothing like this here!

The main character is done so well! He is half demon and facial expressions are just amazing!

There are tons of cool support "monster" characters and that brings this show to another level!

Story:
You need to survive first 2-3 episodes I would say. First it's mostly this main character just screaming basically. But then it gets much better.

Also so far I should say this anime is pretty vegan friendly lol. What I mean by that is that there is no slicing animals and stuff like that like in One Piece for example. I still have flashbacks of Luffy cutting dinosaurs alive on that island. Anyway, here in Blue Exorcist the main character gets in fight because someone was throwing stones at pigeons. He has a very big heart and all characters are very cool and believable.

Hope all this will continue till the end, but whatever happens I am already giving this show 10/10 based on first 13 episodes.
