If you have found this manga without knowing anything about it and you are interested in it because of the summary you have read, the art style, genres or something else, than oh boy are you going in blind! I WAS LIKE THAT AS WELL!
Gal Cleaning is a manga about girls (gals) and a boy (named Daisuke Kaji) who knows a hell of a lot about cleaning. Kaji is forced, by a certain event, to live with the main gal of the story. He is treated like a slave and every chapter ... has it's unique and cool little "tips" about cleaning, that are actually pretty clever and helpful in real life. And with the chapters rolling I started enjoing this manga more and more. The story is nothing that special, but if you are searching for a manga that has some ecchi elements, some *meh* humour and stress-relieving vibes, then this average comedy/romance manga is for you! Yes it has some retarded things like *LOL* in every second gal sentence, yes it may have some form of sexism, yes there are some plot holes here and there but that is to be expected of a short romance manga like that.
OOOOR that's what I was going to say if it wasn't for the mental breakdown of the story at halfway through! This story really had quite the potential to become some really enjoyable and happy ecchi/romance/comedy/school manga but it turned out to be more like ecchi/romance/comedy/school/drama/psychological .
And after some chapters everything returns to normal. Like, the author had some serious issues at some point and after his medication he returned back to normal and finished his work with the expected *meh* ending.
OVERALL: This was a project gone wrong
