Selfless freak goes around helping his friends with their supernatural and personal problems, whilist also dealing with some of his own. In Kokoro Connect they all share the same supernatural problem, while in Bakemonogari they are mostly different, though. A very interesting cast, with tridimensional characters, and banger songs, also, can't forget the deep, meaningful and awesome story and drama. OH, I FORGOT. THE ROMANCEEEEEEEE! Give both a watch and see if you'll like them. If you loved one, you probably will love the other too.

- Female main character has a disability of some sort and suffers prejudice from other people because of it. - Main character doesn't quite understand F-MC, but gets to know her better and understand her over time, eventually falling in love. - Female main character has a rival in love that is a asshole with her at first. However... - MC has a cool friend that supports him and the FMC - Very deep and highly emotional, with lots of comedy, romance and drama. Prepare some lil handkerchiefs. Or buckets. - BANGER SOUNDTRACK, WITH A AMAZING ENDING SONG!!!!!!

A "boy-meets-girl" drama, music, romance with a pinch of comedy and a bit of slice-of-life story and how they influence and impact each other's lives. Protagonists have something they love and share with the world (Cherry and his haikus, Arima Kousei and his music and piano, Smile with her kawaii things and streaming, Kaori with her music and violin), with their friends and the main girl who is also the protagonist's romantic interest cheering them on and helping them. Kousei and Cherry are also very similar in personality and behaviour and appearance, except Kousei wears glasses and Cherry doesn't. Sometimes both get a little lost in reality, by that i mean daydream. Cherry with his headphones and Kousei with his thoughts. Smile and Kaori are also a little similar in behaviour and personality. Regarding the characters of Beaver and Tough Boy, they remember me a little of Shigatsu's Watari Ryota. Juri remembers me of Nao Kashiwagi, and Mai of Tsubaki and Nagi Aiza. The haiku lady and Nana are also kinda like Hiroko Seto. The animes also have teenagers as main characters, and a good part, if not most, of the characters are teenagers. They deal with their own problems as they grown up, and live the experiences, pains, and loves of Youth. Amazing stories, amazing art and animations, amazing supporting cast and characters overall (waifus too), amazing music and, to sum up, Amazing infinite/10 animes i would recommend to anyone. Also, they both are also emotional and cryable anime featuring happy moments that make you have hope in everything in this universe, sad moments that will probably make you feel like a friggin newborn baby again, and are sure to make you smile and cry at the same time, like they did with me. :) I don't watch too much romance anime as it's probably my least favorite genre in fiction, however, when i do watch one, it's surely going to be good and one of the best i ever watched. Thanks for reading! And good watching!!!!! Just found it's also directed by the same director as Shigatsu, Kyouhei Ishiguro.

I first watched Shigatsu, so when watching I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, and the story unfolded, i noticed the similarities between them: The two of them have similar characters, you can easily notice this in Kaori and Sakura, cheerful waif- i mean girls, with an illness. Its also noticeable in the MCs and i found Kyouko a little comparable to Tsubaki, same with Issei and Watari. Also, one thing i liked about both is how they have a certain small focus on Spring, April and the blooming of Cherry Blossoms, its quite beautiful. Similiar themes and vibe Great character development as the story progresses, if you didn't like the MCs that much at first, give them a little time. Considered as tear-jerkers by pretty much everyone (and they didn't lie) The fact is, if you liked Shigatsu and watched it first (like me) or vice versa, you will love the other! So, what are you waiting for? Go on and watch them! They are basically look-alikes!
