I love the world of Berserk. Easily my favorite manga and I can't get enough. This adaptation is pathetic and hurts to watch. From atrocious camera angles and the constant clanging, I wish this adaptation never happened. Story wise they skipped parts out from the manga, otherwise my rank for that would've been higher. CG can definitely work depending on the anime. I enjoyed Kado the right answer's use of CG and Kengan Ashuras at times at least made sense as they conveyed the movements and force to the viewer during its many fights. The Berserk movies were decently done as well especially the last ... movie. But Berserk 2016 and 2017 truly dropped the ball in terms of animation. I almost wish they never included any of the still frames where the art looked amazing, because it just made me hopeful that the quality would improve in time. The cast and character development in Berserk is nearly unmatched. The CG definitely took away from facial expressions however. I love Berserk but watching this made me sad. 3/10
