For a long time, i have been searching a decent ecchi anime with a good comedy and that would particularly enjoy me, despise many animes that have those annoying fanservices...untill i find Shimoneta. Just like Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, Shimoneta have a kind of "original" plot yet is not so original as you think is since is something you can kind of expect in a ecchi show but it still can entertain. Well, lets go with our review and you will see the point.

Story: 6/10
Sixteen years after the "Law for Public Order and Morals in Healthy Child-Raising" banned coarse language in the country, Tanukichi Okuma enrolls ... in the country's leading elite public morals school and is soon invited into the Anti-Societal Organization (SOX) by its founder, Ayame Kajou. As a member blackmailed into joining by Ayame, Tanukichi ends up taking part in obscene acts of terrorism against the talented student council president Anna (for whom Tanukichi has a crush on).

The story as i said is "original" but...just in some aspects because the fact a plot of a main character go find a childhood female character in a school is more than a typical anime ecchi cliché thing YET the story is a bit more different, which is a good because at least something is going on, rather a male character going with girls with no reason. And since shimoneta is a comedy animes, is fair to put some kind of "stupid" things aswell in the plot, like a super-hero which fight for bring back the ero-jokes but is what shines in this anime, can be stupid but somehow genius aswell.

Art: 8/10
The art is good. Don't expect something animation full of details in the face, hair, colors etc. Is the animation you expect in a ecchi anime.

Sound: 8/10
Sound is also very catchy. The OP and ED are Ok(prefer the ed though). The OSTs are also very good, they are different type of symphonies, melodies, vocal themed soundtracks and many other types. Is a great variety, many people will or not try find those soundtracks. Thats depends of the taste.

Character: 6/10
Characters is OK. There is a great variety YET stereotyped characters in this anime that you always find in other ecchi comedy animes like the trap, the pevert girl, the male leader in the confusions, the male that have something for the mc, the jealous girl etc. What is the difference? the focus in the anime is different. There characters you will particularly like because of the comedic scenes in the anime, because they are really funny.

Enjoyment: 7/10
Thats about taste. Don't watch Shimoneta if you expect something serious. But if you are fan of prison school or seitokai yakuindomo, then this anime is perfect for you. You will enjoy for the comedy....the confusion that the characters are in and....the ecchi aswell...but thats just it.

Overall: 8/10
Shimoneta is actually good. It does have a different story....or concept for the events, which is actually different than most of this genre of anime. It does explains the why of most the facts, different of a anime which don't have any sense and just give protagonism to the main character. Those who are fan of ecchi, go on and watch, its for you, those who want to take a break of serious anime and watch something for laugh and entertain a bit, you can watch but don't expect you will enjoy because thats taste, but i can assure you will laugh in some scenes.

For those who watched tokyo ghoul for the first time and haven't read the manga, this anime would be a amazing experience for those who are fans of horror animes like shiki, higurashi, another and etc to fill the empty space missing some good horror animes. But for those who readed the manga, it will have a more different though of the adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul √A. When i first read the manga, the concept was very interesting(even if is not original), and i was hoping they could adapt it to the anime, to become one of the best animes of all ... the time but unfortunally, thats not going to happen with tokyo ghoul(unless they make a remake like fullmetal alchemist). By the way, lets start and i will prove my point.

Story: 6/10
Well, the story itself is about Kaneki ken, a normal student that in a night, got attacked by a ghoul but managed to survive since the same ghoul that attacked him, died mysteriously. For save Kaneki, the doctors transplanted the ghoul's organs inside of kaneki, having him to become a hybrid human-ghoul, now he lives betweens the ghouls and humans trying to survive the world from the humans(that hunt ghouls) and other ghouls, without to know what to do. This is a little review of season 1's story, the reason i write it is because this may help to explain somethings more forward. With this kind of concept/story, you may agree with me that the story deserves a 6 but, i must say, a anime is kinda like a cake, all cakes are equals, what differ, is what you are going to put on it like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry etc. In other words, many anime can have similiar or even equal concepts, but there things that differ on tokyo ghoul, for example the concepts of morals about what is wrong and what is right(similiar to shiki, but is developed in a different way), who is the real monster if is the humans or the ghouls, everything you will find out in tokyo ghoul. The reason i gave it a 6 is simple, i personally liked the story of tokyo ghoul, what i hated is one of the most common problems of the animes that is: They rushed the anime in every ways. A lot of things got skipped(some are underdstandable) and others totally avoid. If the anime had 24 episodes would be very enough to explain a lot of things but no, nowdays, looks like animes with 12 episodes means "SUCESS" -w- i don't know if they do that to the anime for increases the popularity of the manga(in other words, if there missing informations in the anime, of course they will buy the manga for understand more about the story), but for be sincerity, is a great disappointment, principally for me, since i'm a great fan of horror animes. I could have been much better if they make the anime with patience and adaptating everything necessary for explain the events of the story. But unfortunally, thats not the case. All we can do is prey for a remake in the future.

Art: 8/10: Art is very good, kinda realistic with a lot of details in the eyes(principally the eyes of the ghouls) and the kagune aswell. Is really a fitting art style for a horror anime, since it have fits with the scenes where the vitcmins shows the expression of horror, rage, sad etc.What i don't like it are some bugs in the body and the constantly censorship in the anime. Tokyo ghoul is a bloody anime, so why they have to censor it?

Sound: 9/10
Probably the best thing in the anime. The OP really fits in everything about kaneki's fate and situations that he lives. The ED is okay, not memorable as the OP. Voice acting really fits in what the character is trying to express, also the themes aswell have that feeling of dark, melancholics, depression that fits in the universe of tokyo ghoul, and some good instrumentals themes in battles. Overall, the sound is a amazing work.

Character: 5/10
Now, lets go to the part i personally don't like...ugh....characters. Well, what i can tell about it? the characters are very steoeotyped, you will see all type of characters that have in a dark atmosphere: The psychopath, the cannibal, the crybaby, the violent, the "no cares" about you, the crazy etc. All of them got their personalities totally explored that you will see them acting like their respective personality all the time and constantly that turns boring. There are few memorable characters on tokyo ghoul or even developed ones. Tohka is a little memorable, but you won't like her that much because she kinda acts like a bitch by the way she acts towards kaneki and there few development on her(more in the middle to the final). Kaneki got a good development, and is slighty memorable, he becomes a good character more near at the final but i was expectating more development on him since he will feel both sides of the world(human/ghoul) and many horrible things around. Hope in season 2, he have a proper develop.

Enjoyment: 5/10
For those who doesn't read the manga, is going to be a good anime, but for those who read, will be a anime rushed, full of unexplained things and a lot of missing information that would help to construct the story and develop the characters so...it depends of the taste, if you like horror, then you will enjoy this but i must say that there a lot of censorship. I advice you after you watch the anime, read the manga so you can understand what is going on and also understand many things that occur in the anime.

For me, is a disappoint, a good manga turned into a rushed anime that had a high potential. There is already a second season of tokyo ghoul and soon i will write my first impressions of the episode 1 of second season. As i said, this anime is for people who like horror, if you don't like rushed animes that miss informations, then read the manga and don't watch it. If you really don't care if is rushed or no and like this kind of atmosphere of horror, go on and enjoy it. Even if you haven't read the manga, you will see what i'm talking about and how badly adapted and rushed the anime come.

When i first was going to watch claymore, i was expectating just a ordinary anime with warriors defeating monsters full of blood and gore with nothing special. After watching few episodes(untill episode 9) i just started to believe about how wrong i was about the series. For most old it is, this anime never fails to suprise, bringing things that make it different and unique, becoming one of the best series that i have follow in my life, even with the flaws, the show/manga itself, is amazing and worthly to check out. Yet, the show is not perfect, i have praised it a lot but ... i must be sincerity that i have to tell a lot of things about the show(principally the anime), without wasting time, Lets start shall we?

Story: 7/10
The story focus on the medieval era, where a new threat comes to haunt and end the humanity, monsters called Youmas that devour humans come spreading the horror and the terror in the life of the humans, destroying and killing every human that see. The result is in the panic and the lose of hope where everyone is afraid to die and no one is reliable since youmas can transform into humans and live between them for after devour and kill them, also them are more fast and strong than the humans. In order to put a end in this situation, a organization is founded to create warriors for fight with those monsters, where they put blood and youma guts on them in order to becoming a hybrid race of human and youma and fight with the monster in equality, those are warriors are called Claymore, warriors of blonde hair with silver eyes(99,7% is female, somehow, females are more compatible with the blood and guts of youma). The story starts with a young boy called Raki, that is attached with a claymore called Claire that saved his life by killing the youma that murdered his family, and somehow they become like partners where Raki always accompanies Claire no matter where she go and as soon the story goes, a deep relationship is being made between them. By Hearing this, you can say that the story is a typical monster slayer story with few romance into it right between the hero and the fragile girl right? WRONG! is very very different, Claymore is not really focused in only warriors fightning monsters or the romance between the characters, is not like that. The focus of the story is the horror, melancholy, and the sadness that involves the characters in most of the situations where they react very well in determinated situations such as Dangerous, Sadness etc. Also, what make the story more good is the events on it, principally involving claymores that are a mixed of human and youma. You would trust in someone that have 50% of humanity and 50% of monstroity? I guess not. This is a other thing that makes the plot very captivating, the prejudice and the fear that the humans have for both youmas and claymores(even if they are half human) and you somehow you feel sorry for the claymores because you see that some of them are not really bad or even deserved to be treacted like this, is not like a fantasy anime where everyone root for the main character, praying for him/her to win, this one, they must support everything in their backs like the fardue of fightning monsters and hate of everyone. Claymores may not express any emotions in most of the scenes, but you can see inside their eyes, the sadness and the melancholy of their fates. There a lot of things that makes the plot enjoyable such as the background stories(principally claire's) of the characters that somehow locks you into the character and you can't do nothing than root for him/her complete his/her goal. By everything i say, you may disagree of note as 7, since by what i said, is a very good dark story BUUUUT lets not stick only to the good side. There also some bad points aswell, the story itself is not original and like many animes, the events on it makes enjoyable, but also the anime have somethings that disappoints. Unfortunally, i really wanted to give a higher rating since the anime somehow is loyal to the manga with very few things changed or deleted, but i must say that the final of the anime is what affect the anime and makes it bad. I'm not saying you shouldn't see the series, but for you be prepared, since the manga ended in 2014, and the anime finished in 2007, there was a lot of things missing and hopes are increasing for a second season but unfortunally it was just a illusion, since with the alternative ending of claymore, the hopes just turns down because is very different from the manga. You can watch it and trust me, you will enjoy it, but be prepared since in the last episodes, you will see something different from the manga and it may make you a little frustrated since we all want a anime with a decent adaptation. If it actually adaptated pretty well and made into two seasons, it could have been better, since we could expect to understand more things if does have a second season but since it doesn't have, there a lot of things missing in the story.

I Really like the art of claymore, principally the eyes of the claymores that is really beautiful, the facial expression is not that "BEST" thing you have see, but is really good, plastic and in some parts very detailed. I also like the designs of the characters and their details principally the armor of the claymores, and also the effects in the fight moments, its all beautiful. What i really missed is some more details in the face expression, since there were a lot of panic and despair moments of the anime, just for cause some reality and feel in the character's expressions, but overall, is very good.

One of the best things of the anime are,no doubts, the OSTs, I love the OP that gives that melancholy theme of how sad the characters are and the fardue that they carry on their back involving in a lot of situations, risking their lifes for the humanity's sake, and also i loved the ending that makes everyone hype that somehow describe the stories/fates that most of the characters had. Thats something i really liked of the show, the epic soundtracks like the rocks/guitar mixed themes in fight scenes and the melody and compositions flutes, violins, hornpipe, piano etc., that give that medieval feeling, creating a amazing atmosphere for the anime and also describing some sad events involving all the characters.

This is will be a mixed point. The good side of claymore, in terms of characters is all of them are unique and somehow memorable in every scenes that they actually appears. They react very well in most of the scenes, showing reality in their faces and you can see and feel the despair, sadness, fear and horror when they are facing somthing. You will feel bad for them for most of the things that have happened to them like loss, traumas etc. The problem of claymore is, most of the background stories are very repetitive and annoying with a character losing someone close(friend, parents, brother etc). 1 or 2 characters having the same fate is understandable but a lot, is very weird and i know those monsters are the principal responsable for the horror and despair of the characters but i think they could have worked more in with BG stories of the characters and turn them more enjoyable to watch, because is pretty annoying when them went into flashback and show parents or anything like that dying and they complain about it.

Claymore overall, is a pretty good anime. The story may be unorginal and there are some predictable things but you can't do nothing than just keep going enjoying and wanting to see more about the everything in the world of claymore and the events that helps building a story with memorable characters where you will always root for them and feel bad/frustrated when something happens to them.

Claymore is a very good anime and if you plan to watch, you won't regret it. Unfortunally, the anime itself had potential to be one of the best ones with a very good adaptation but somehow, disappoints near of the final. I Recommend you after finishing the anime, read the manga since there are things different and more things to show after the ending of the anime. Do not read it in the chapter where you stopped in the anime, read from the start.

When i first watched freezing's first season, i was really hooked for see what are going to happen next, it somehow attached me, probably i was wishing for more events involving satellizer, kazuya and rana, since they are funny to watch and in the first show. After the announcement of Freezing vibration, i was kinda happy to see what is that about and expectating new things and also new interesting events to happens just like few events in the first show. But after completing the series....i was very disappointed by how freezing vibration turned out. In other words, i can freely say that Freezing(2011) ... is superior than Freezing Vibration. I have a lot of things to say in this review and about this anime so lets start to the point shall we?

Story: 4/10
Lets start with the weakiest part of the show that are the story. It happens some time later after the first season. Chevalier concluded that most of the Nova assaults are causing many loss of pandoras that they can even produce. For fix this, a certain project starts called E-Pandora(Evolution Padora), that consists in giving powers to normal humans in order to turn them into pandoras aswell. In order to help with experiences and developing the E-pandoras, most of the pandoras around the world is invited to come to the alaska in the base of the project for help. Satellizer, Kazuya and Lana aswell are invited for it but they soon manage to discover some secrets of the e-pandora's project as they lives some dark events around it. Well....about the story....it have decreased a lot in terms of enjoyment. The first season was building a good plot with a gripping atmosphere and certain interesting events that the second season could have turned it better but the e-pandora arc is not really interesting. Few episodes saved the anime for being bad but yet the story doesn't really impressed me. I have see a lot of animes with that nakama feeling with emotional themes that had sucess in transmit it just like One piece, fairy tail(but i think FT just overruse it that nakama thing) and etc. I have feeling that freezing vibration tried to do that, showing about how much of the e-pandoras cares about theirselves and her friends, but for be sincerity, in the sad scenes, i don't feel sorry for them because i didn't find they interesting in point of having me locked into them(i will explain more about it in the character section).The Fights are not so good as the first season, they are somehow rushed and skipped a lot for show other scenes, something that really disappointed me since freezing had some good fights before, i was expectating to see more good fights in this season aswell but i couldn't see, there are some fights involving pandoras but they are not interesting to see, you will just see and wish it for end quickly for how boring it is. In the first season, it was good to see pandoras fighting against novas and how epic were the effects during the fight scenes, but this second season don't have any fight involving novas(only more near of the end but i can't tell since it would be spoiler) but is very quickly, decreasing the excitment. Other thing i want to make sure is i readed freezing manga and i already saw how the e-pandora arc is in the manga and i can say...is so much better and amazing than the anime. Its somehow more deep and dark with a lot of interesting contents and more explained things. In other words, i can say in the story, Freezing vibration had a mediocre adaptation, with a lot of unexplained things and skipped information that decreased the story in point of becoming a lot of uniteresting and boring. As i said before, few episodes saved the anime like episode 6-7 and the last 2 episodes that turned the anime slighty interesting, yet the story is still awful duo the bad adaptation, becoming unmotivating to keep watch.

Art: 7/10
Nothing to say about it, is the same animation since Freezing 2011, with some few changes in the visuals and effects. New changes would increases the quality of the anime but meh is still a good animation.

Sound: 6/10
The sound decreased it a little in terms of OP and ED, is not really memorable, those are OK OP and ED, you will just hear but won't remember or feel like hearing it again. Yet the Orchestral and Piano OSTs of Freezing vibration are still so epic to hear.

Character: 5/10
In terms of character, i have to say that is slighty better than the original Freezing. Now there is more characters that somehow fits with the story and the events around it or got more attention than the first season like roxanne, ticy, cassie, chiffon, Elizabeth, Amelia and etc. They are eh...OK characters, not exactly memorable, they are like just for fit their hole in the anime, not like will make any change to the story, there few ones that really will change everything in the story or how the things will go. Satellizer, Kazuya and Rana are back, they are exactly the same, won't change anything, but Satellizer gets a little more of development, becoming a slighty better character but yet i really don't liked how OP satellizer be, i know she don't like giving up but we can give too much protagonism on her. Well, Duo the rushed adaptation, i will say a problem that appears aswell in Black Bullet. For a lot of content and information being skipped and unexplained, you won't know many things about the characters, in other words, in case of something happens with them, you won't really care for them because you think of them like just a support for help the protagonists and if they die, won't make difference. This is not a problem of the manga, and yes of the anime. A ongoing manga(with more than 30-50 chapters) cannot have only 13 episodes, because it will be very rushed and less enjoying. Characters that would be memorable, will be eh...good but not excitting characters that you will always remember. Nowdays animators think less information and more action makes something good. =/

Enjoyment: 5/10
The Ecchi/Fanservice decreased a little, giving some more focus in the story that still comes rushed and unexplained, turning it less excitting. i Didn't liked Freezing Vibration too much for having the same mistake as many animes around, bad adaptation. I was expectating more from it since i enjoyed the first season. A lot of things decreased principally the quality of anime in terms of story and sound that before were kinda good but it have fall.

Overall: 5/10
Freezing Vibration, for most mediocre it is, you have to watch or you won't catch to the story, and also you will do not understand anything if Freezing have future seasons. Is not really good as the first season and also not very enjoyable because the excitment have decreased for anime that don't bring anything new or something to lock us into the series.

Since the day i have watched shingeki no kyojin, i started to become a slighty attached to animes with some apocalyptic themes, where humans are faced with something that would end their existence, and in the same time, we could see the despair and the feeling of less hope in their eyes. This Spring's year have launched a lot of good animes as No game no life, DBZ Kai 2014, Fairy tail 2014 and others animes aswell. Most of them have catch my attention like NGNL and this interesting anime called Black Bullet. After reading the sinopse, i had some high expectations, even if the ... idea is not so original, somehow, catches me because have a different setting and also a different enviroment and atmosphere. I Won't say that the series is a disappointment, unlikely, is a very good series, the problem is...the adaptation. Lets not waste time and start to the point uh?

Story: 6/10
Let's go to the part that makes me a little disappointed and yet amazed, the story. The story focus near the future where humans are being exterminated by a parasital virus called Gastrea, while they live this hystorical terror moment, they are obligated to live in small territories living with the despair, horror and fear of the monsters. For at least increases a little the hope in the heart of the humanity, is created the "civil security", members of organization that fights against gastreas. The story starts with Satomi Rentaro, one member of the civil security aside his partner Enju Aihara, where they both have to take dangerous missions involving gastreas for fight for survive and save the humanity from the destruction. The story may be not so original yet...is extremelly amazing duo the events that happens on it principally with the cursed childrens(childrens like Enju that born with some gastrea blood for fight equal to equal with them) that constantly suffer racism and prejudice and more other factors in the anime, increasing the dark atmosphere and gripping events. I'm pretty sure you will ask "LoneNinja123, if the story is that much amazing and good, why you give it a 6?" - is simple, the adaptation. Black Bullet have a mediocre adaptation, by watching it, you can easy see that the animators skipped a lot of important things that caused some less impact in some scenes of the anime. Is very rushed and left a lot..and i mean A LOT of things unexplained. Duo this fact, a other problem appears, the anime itself have different arcs at 4 and 4 episodes. Duo the bad adaptation, it feels like in the first 4 episodes you are watching a arc, then in the others 4 episodes(4-8) you are watching a other arc, that don't have any ligation with the first one. Is very weird, i believe that because of the bad adapation and a lot of skipped inforation, every arc don't have a ligation one by one. I'm pretty sure if they adapt the anime just like the novel and manga, somehow would be something that would link every arc to make sense of why the events are going like that. Thats why i rate 6 in the story and also why i'm disappointed, the bad adaptation makes some parts very confused and they could have done better than it, explained everything but they end making this and left many things without explanation and also confused to understand.

I really liked the art of Black bullet for most simple it is. It doesn't have full of details but yet the colors and designs are pretty good, i really enjoyed Hiruko, Satomi and Enju's designs, also i really loved every effects in the fights scenes on the anime. They did a very good job, but for a anime where humans are facing the fear and despair for being destroyed, more details in the facial expression would be pretty good aswell, incluing the eyes that could be better, they come out too simple.

Sound: 9/10
One of the best things in the anime are the soundtracks. I really like OP and i really loved the ED(i prefer the ED more) also every track and OSTs fits the scene that the anime want to show. Its simple beautiful the beats on the fight themes, the orchestra, guitarl and piano themes are very well done. It helped a lot build the gripping dark atmosphere of the anime and also are memorable for many people that will hear.

Characters: 5/10
This part will be mixed between positive and negative. I loved Most of Black bullet characters as Satomi, Enju, Tina, Hiruko, Kisara and etc. They all have different personalities: calm, insane, cute, violent, determinated and etc. For most stereotypical they be, they have something that differ from the characters of other animes, thats is how they react depending of a event they are in. It express a lot of reality, and somehow you can feel how they are feeling in a determinated scene, where most of the times you beg for them and other times you feel very sorry for what happens, it's really good. Now that we have heard the positive side, lets go to the negative, i really wanted to rate 9 in the characters, but i have already told you guys the problem of Black bullet having a bad adaptation, and duo the a lot of missing informations, most of the characters don't have a very well constructed backgroud story, in other words, in a scene where you could be sad for them....you will be like...for example...neutral. The lack of information creates some characters that could have been memorable somehow...but ends being left without causing any impact, of course there are exceptions but cmon, this really disappoints. All characters should have their respective attention, so we could have enjoyed them more. Other problem is...how i can put...the characters fast change of mood during some scenes....from sad...goes to determinated...happy to angry, etc. Is very unreal in this part but they are stil enjoyable somehow.

Enjoyment: 7/10
I personally enjoyed Black Bullet very much but duo the lack of information and a great amount of a unexplained things, the anime come out with some confusing things, decreasing the excitement but yet, is still a very good anime to watch and you will personally enjoy.

Overall: 7/10
Black Bullet had eveything for become a very good anime, with amazing sounds; characters and stories. but for a mediocre adaptation, it turned to be something inferior than what could have become, a memorable anime. Is still good to watch and enjoy. The Novel is still ongoing, so i hope if they make a second season, make a better adaptation than what the season one be, with a lot more of suprises and twists.

-Its very rushed. Lack of Information and Many unexplained things that affected in many areas of the anime.

Only Fanservice will not mean that a ecchi anime will turn out to be good, Maken-ki is a very good example of it. This is one of the first animes that i have dropped since i just couldn't watch since there was a lot of mistakes and flaws in this anime that ends being a generic predictable and unmotivated anime to watch. Lets start then? here we go:

Story: 3/10
How about we start with the story? now i ask you guys....what story? Maken-ki just have a concept for explain the why of the events are happening. It starts with Takeru Ooyama, a typical pervert generic ... character that enter in a school in that doesn't require entrance exams. Soon he discover that this school is special where everyone is able to gain a special weapon/item called maken, that unleash magical abilities but yet somehow he cannot have a maken and he some type of hide power inside of him and while he keeps trying to find a maken fo him, he get between troubles and problems involving girls of diverse personalities. The story is simple...awful and unpleasant. Is extrmelly unoriginal, since we have already see many animes where the main characters develop a special power and gets surrounded by girls, if at least had some interesting events, it have could be understandable but yet nothing are interesting in this show. Is just a generic anime ecchi with a lot of fanservice and not story at all. Every episode focus in takeru's problem between a girl and nothing more. I didn't expect to ecchi animes have a lets say, deep plot, but cmon, there is a lot of ecchi animes that somehow turned out to be very good and amazing like Highschool dxd, sekirei, sora no otoshimono because what makes interesting were the events, yet Maken-ki falls hard in entertaining people. Story could have been much better, it started good and become very bad.

Art/Animation: 6/10
Is a OK Art, nothing spectacular or amazing for be impressed. What saves the Art, is the stunning effects of the combat that i have to admit, are simple beautiful and amazing to admire. But...the worst part of the animation...is just the anatomy....The girls' boobs are like giant watermelons O_o is so unreal and weird(i wonder how the medical teacher's boobs will look when she is old XD), i guess they think how more giant the boobs are, more beautiful the girl is, is just horrible.

Sound: 7/10
Is pretty good, i enjoyed the opening and ending, but i personally don't find them being spectacular or memorable. Yet the OSTs are simple AMAZING with a orchestral, violin and some rock beats themes principally in the battles, while simple and beautiful piano themes in the sad moments. Simple Amazing and thats what saves the sound of maken-ki.

Character: 3/10
Now the weakiest point of the show...All the characters are just...bad...really bad...they are not interesting(yet the girls looks beautiful), they are just typical unoriginal harem/ecchi characters that you see. Yanderes, tsunderes, the perv main character, the boob monster woman, the girl that wants to marry the main character and etc. No one of them are personally likeable but is not really dislikeable, they are just too simple, they do not entertain for cause the feeling of "want more", also they don't have something interesting to lock us into them, in other words, you will watch the anime without care what will happen to them since they don't exactly modify or change the show somehow. They will end just like how they starts.

Enjoyment: 5/10

Trust me, if you starts watching maken-ki, the chances that you will drop it in the episode 4 or 5, are like 75%. Somehow i managed to go to episode 8 and i was extremelly sick for all the fanservices and annoying characters appearences. Maken-ki could have been a lot of better if the creators could put less fanservice on it and some interesting stories on it. But it ended like this so we can't do anything about it.

Maken-ki is a so predictable anime with a unoriginal story and characters, horrible direction with a lot of plot holes. Is your typical and uniteresting ecchi anime with a weak male lead surrounded by strong females. As i said before, fanservice doesn't mean the anime will turn out to be good, you won't like this anime and will personally drop just like for some many flaws and mistakes in the story and very poorly developed characters. It's just lost potential to be a good ecchi anime for become a generic ecchi/hentai one.

Well, this is my first review in this site since i just logged here and i feel like giving reviews in animes that i personally like or don't like. I'm a great fan of ecchi animes XD so i decided to make this review for freezing that is personally one of the few good ecchi animes around with a decent characteristics. Well, lets no waste time and start!

Story: 6/10

The story is set in a futuristic wold where the earth is being attacked by aliens called novas that comes from a other dimension. In order to stop it, modified genetically girls are created using some nova ... fragments on them called stigmas in order to fight novas using new abilities, those girls are called Pandoras. The story starts with a young japanese boy called Kazuya Aoi, that enters in a special school that trains both pandoras and limiters(limiters are male partners of pandoras that uses a freezing ability in order to stop the opponent's moviments). As the story keeps going, Kazuya meets a older second year girl called Satellizer el Bridget, that are the strongest pandora of her class but yet she don't have a limiter for her. Kazuya somehow feels attached to satellizer since she really looks like his old deceased sister that died during a nova clash years ago. So he decides that he will become satellizer's limiter even if most of his classmates warn him about She don't like having limiters. And so the story keeps going.

Where we have see this before? Monsters attacking the earth and the humans...Female warriors were created, using same powers as the monsters for defeat them...a old female protagonist having a newer male partner on her side...? Many animes are like that, a clearly example is Claymore. The story itself is not so original and also have a very slow pacing, with few things explained. What makes interesting and unique are the events, the diffeent setting(futuristic setting) and the atmosphere of the anime that becomes slighty dark as the animes goes but do not expect something deep. For now, i won't critique the story totally since is still in the beginning, Freezing's story is good but it had potential to be better with more things explained.

Art: 7/10
I will be mixed in this part, in other words, i will be positive and negative about the art and designs. I personally liked Freezing's art, even if there is no such deep details, i liked it, principally the effects during the fight scenes. What i don't really liked is...some designs of the gils in the beginning of episode 1. I reallyl liked satellizer's design and some other characters'design aswell, but there some girls that...how i say...had some unnecessary designs like very short pants, short shits, short skirts and etc. As i said, i like ecchi animes, but there things that are really unnecessary, like those designs that i told, it makes the girls looks immoral somehow...idk..is hard to explain.

Sound: 7/10
The Op and ED is good, is not so memorable with that feeling of "want more of it" , but yet the OSTs were very good. It fits every scene(sad, fight, etc) with those piano, violin and orchestral marvelous themes.

Characters: 3/10
Now...the weakest part of the show, the characters. There are very few FEW enjoyable characters in this show, incluing the main characters of the show, Satellizer; Kazuya and Rana. Well since we started about the main charactes how about talking about them? Lets start then

Kazuya Aoi: he is your typical correct and unmotivated shounen hero with those repetitive typic phrases like "i will never leave you side" or "i will protect senpai no matter what", making girls attached to him. Kazuya is neither likeable or dislikeable, he is a OK character but is not a character that will motivate us or catch us somehow. The problem of kazuya is because he don't have anything new that lock us on him. we have see too many of his kind, thats ends being a boring and repetitive character. 1.5/5

Satellize el Bridget: Satellizer is a typical strong female warrior, with great powers that most of the times you will think she is OP XD. Besides of the being a strong and unstoppable woman, she is very shy and have unconfident mood and also she don't like being touched duo the trauma of her past. Satellizer somehow catches me deep, even if the authors used the same formula on her for being a typical strong character(just like erza, clare, teresa and etc), there is something new , that is her background story that was very unexpected and also very dark, causing us to enjoy the character in some terms. The only thing that i don't like about her is because she constantly says "i won't lose to anyone" and she don't have any other interesting phrase. =/ if you repeat this phrase a lot, it will comes a time that you will be sick for always see it, but yet, is a good character. 3.5/5

Rana Linchen:She is that agitated happy and confident character and also rival(of love) of Satellizer about Kazuya(since they both start to have feelings for him as the series goes). She is simple, honest and like kazuya, have the "Correct" will, also she is attached to kazuya and always plan to be his pandora. Rana is a mixed character because you will feel like her only hole is being a rival of love and nothing more. Is not really interesting but yet you somehow will like it her scenes, since she is a funny character and likeable in the same time. Rana should have a better background story, since she is just a fighter that ends having love for a main character and only that, i was kinda expectating more for this character, but yet, is more better than kazuya that somehow entertain us. 2.25/5

Honorable Mentions: Chiffon Fairchild, Cassie Lockheart, Elizabeth Mably, Ticy Phenyl(when i make the review on freezing vibration, i will tell more about them, since is when they characters gain a little more of focus)

Now i have told about the main characters and some honorable mentions. Now i will tell the problem of the characters variety in freezing....they are just simple...not interesting. I will explain, in the first episodes and more to the near of the final(1-9), is satellizer fightning with diffeent pandoras or a random fanservice. After the pandoras fight with satellizer, they basically...leave the anime, they don't appears anymore and if they do, is just in a scene. Most of the characters don't have a good background story, interesting concepts or developing characteristics, and is just there for fight with satellizer and then leave the anime like it doesn't existed =/. Freezing have a very poorly amount of memorable characters, most of them are annoying or egocentric in some terms, and you will end hating or not likeing them, there times that will don't even care if they appears or no in the scene. Characters are not very well developed.

Enjoyment: 6/10
I Pesonally enjoyed Freezing for being a anime with different concepts and environments, set in a future atmosphere. Even with the flaws and mistakes, you somehow will enjoy the fights, character relationships and few stories and events that somehow will lock you even if is not too much.

Overall: 7/10
If you are searching for a deep plot, deep characters, great sounds, great arts and great enjoyment with replay valuable, skip freezing. Freezing is a ecchi anime with, let's say, decent characteristics in terms of Arts, Sounds and few background stories and some interesting events, but this anime have a personal group target, that are the ecchi fans. The story for now is focus in the relationship of Rana, Satella and Kazuya, with a slow pacing plot. If you are fan of boobies, pretty girls, nude, love triangle, fights and some emotional scenes , you will enjoy it, if you don't then don't even watch. Soon i will give my review of freezing vibration...and i have really many things to talk about it.
