Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer are two highly popular Shonen Jump series often compared due to similar tones and premises. 1. Both have realistic approaches to MCs power levels; both MCs start off as weak but progressively get stronger (obviously duh). In the early stages of both series, it is evident that the MCs are relatively weak compared to other characters, and it remains like this towards the middle-end of the anime -- adding a sense of realism. 2. Side characters aren't useless (omg wow). The characters that follow the MCs have a similar power level to that of the MCs, but they are written in such a way, that they don't overpower or ruin the MCs "badass moments" while keeping their individual "badass moments" (Daddy Zenitsuツ). 3. Variety and creativity with all characters (mostly antagonists) of both shows. All antagonists vary from basic monsters to ultra-powerful humanoids and everything in between, it is virtually possible to create any form of character and it will still fit the series! 4. There is bound to be collateral damage when shonen characters use weapons, magic, and giant robots, such as smashed cars, wrecked buildings, or even death among innocent civilians. Both series make this clear, this reinforces the realism. There is a sense of loss. In conclusion of an analysis of both shows, it became evident that both are similar to another, thereof and therefore we are able to conclude, that for the foreseeable future both will continue to revolutionize the anime world; with their appealing stories.
