How to start this? There are some definite pros and cons to this movie. To start off: visually how the movie looked because this is what I had the biggest gripe with but also I found the best. In the beginning I thought the quality was trash but then I thought to myself “maybe they are going for how the anime looked in the beginning, that older style” which I then actually appreciated and thought was cool. The story always kept me entertained, especially near the end. I'll be honest, some tears may have been shed due to Migi in certain scenes. I find Migi 100% adorable and is by far my favorite character. Therefore I do find this anime very high on my list because of that. As far as story I mean it can be a little long at times and the end is odd as it tries to teach you about humans and the earth. They do that throughout the whole show talking about creatures fending for themselves etc but the end really talks about humans as a whole

Short and simple review: Its pretty darn good. Once the show picks up at episode 4 the ball keeps rolling the whole time. There's never a dull moment and you want to just keep watching. There are so many twists and turns. What I loved about this anime was that it didn't leave you with and questions in the plot,unlike many animes. Yes of course we have to wait for season 2 to see what happens next but I never questioned anything about the plot asking myself "wtf thats such an illogical decision this makes no sense" or " They could have just done it

I finished watching this in one one day, I recommend doing it this way. Beginning is great, love it. You then meet ,as I like to refer to them boar boy and banana head (Inosuke and Zenitsu) around the middle part of the anime. Boar boy will be annoying in the beginning because he wants to be the best in everything and keeps wanting to fight. Don't worry within a few episodes this calms down and you'll actually enjoy him as a character. Now my problem is with banana boy. He almost made me want to stop watching this anime.
