Two bros sittin in a hot tub, 5 feet apart cause they're not gay! : The anime.
This was a hidden gem for me. I passed on it at first because it was an Isekai. Oh it was a romcom too? Ok. I was already watching SO MANY others. Couldn't be bothered. Then I watched it recently. Out of curiosity. Well... IT WAS AMAZING! I am upset with myself that I waited sooo long.
So if that old meme reference didn't sum it up, then here is the basic plot:
Tachibana and Jinguuji are two bros. Tachibana is the fun loving, friend making, gets no bitches having,
...
people person of the two. Jinguuji is the hard working, perfect, good looking, strong, women attracting, woman hating, awkward best friend to Tachibana. One night they go drinking and Tachibana strikes out while Jinguuji passes on all women in order to get a drunk Tachibana home.
In his depressed drunken stupor, Tachibana rants that he hates how awesome Jinguuji is and that if Tachibana was a cute girl then he would totally be a knock out that even Jinguuji would finally get a girl. Jinguuji laughs it off and just wants to see Tachibana home safe while also giving him the bedroom eyes. Then they go home and nothing happens. The end!
Yeah right. Literally out of no where, while Tachibana is passed out drunk, a goddess shows up and grants them their wishes based on drunken stupors! They are summoned to another world and Tachibana is now a knock out babe with BIG BLUE EYES! and Jinguuji is even stronger than he already are. The pair must, say it with me now, DEFEAT THE DEMON LORD AND SAVE THE WORLD!
So whats the twist? The bros must do everything in their power... To NOT fall for each other. Mind you, Tachibana is now biologically female and a Fantasy Knock Out (Get it). Tachibana is now, more or less, Jinguuji's ideal woman. With charm effects, curses, and other hilarity that ensues... Will these two complete the task before they fall for each other? Is it gay to love your homie if he was magically turned into your ideal girl?
FIND OUT!
Story: 8 - Not perfect, but it is basically Konosuba with more will they won't they jokes.
Art: 8 - There are some frames that seem off, but it is still extremely solid animation! Love it.
Sound: 10 - The opening and ending are absolute bangers! Busou Renkin opening singer Yoshiki Fukuyama knocks it out of the park with the opening! God it's so good to hear him again after so long!
Characters: 10 - Perfect. Sword art, Elf isekai, Reverse Trap and Horny kingdoms all have the best characters here!
Enjoyment: 10 - If I didn't have to go to work I could have binged it in one go. It's that good.
Overall: 8 - Not a perfect anime but it is definitely worth your time! I would love to read the manga and soon as I can get my hands on it :D Gonna need to bluray for my collection too. damn!

OK! OOOOOOOOK!
WHO IS READY TO GET CRUCIFIED FOR THEIR OPINION! ME! PICK ME!
I did not enjoy this. Now let me be specific here. This is not a horrible show or something that I will tell others is bad or god awful or something. No. This show was just not for me. I did not enjoy this. Why?
The taboo. Yeah I know, big shocker. Look at mister original here, not liking something because it tackles a social stigma in a realistic way that makes the viewer as well as the characters feel uncomfortable. Like it did what it intended and I couldn't enjoy it. Mister original
...
award goes to.... ME! Oh wait... this is the band wagon award... Damn.
Joke aside. Koushiro meets a high school girl after getting his heart stomped on. He, at first, doesn't care. However, when circumstances lead him to go to the carnival with this high school girl... he opens up and cries and she comforts him. She admits her heart was broken too. They comfort each other and the sparks start to fly.
Issue 1 - He is a 27 year old adult and she is a 15 year old high school girl.
Issue 2 - After a day at the carnival, she meets her father. Who happens to be his father. That's right! They are blood related siblings who haven't seen each other since they were super young. Their parents are divorced.
The premise is that these two must go through the social stigma hell and discover if love truly knows no bounds. AND! That is all I will say. I can not say more with out spoiling it.
Koushiro is a tall beefy looking manly man of a man who tries to bury his feelings behind being an asshole big brother. He can't help but soften up. Nanoka is a young lady who is curious about her older brother and wants to get closer to him. despite him being a butt face. I found moments where I genuinely laughed and moments I genuinely felt things for these two. I hated that this anime made me feel. It should not have. I felt weird watching it and I felt weird when it was over. I wanted to peg this as a show with shock value and nothing else. Like the Domestic Girlfriend anime (The manga was fire and I will die on this hill).
However, this anime has charm and realistic written characters who react in a way that doesn't break immersion and I respect that. I came in wanting to hate this, as it was a recommendation from a friend, but walked away not knowing how to feel.
My personal score is a 6 out of 10. I see many giving it a 10. I can see why, but I stand by my personal score. Watch it if you feel like needing food for thought. You can NOT turn your brain off to watch this. Sorry. It is not a dumpster fire.

I did not review Season 1 of Railgun. So here goes. It was fantastic and a great set up for this world.
OK Boom! Season 2.
SO! My favorite story of Index was the Sisters Arc where it focused on Mikoto Misaka and her clones. Cool. It was a very interest plot that lasted for like 2 or 3 episodes. Sad! I wanted more of that. It was something they really could expand on and I could sink my teeth into!
*Introducing Scientific Railgun S* What! An anime where about 16 episodes of the 24 episode run time is dedicated to the Sisters Arc from Misaka's perspective?
...
You mean it greatly expands on it and even redoes some scenes to make it flow better than Index!? SOLD!
The other arc involved is the Silent Part arc. It isn't as bad as many make it sound. Just comparatively to the first part of this season... It didn't stand a chance. The sisters arc is peak writing for this series. I honestly can't go into detail as it would be all spoilers. Trust me. Finally, Some good fucking anime.
Story: 9 - The Silent party arc, while necessary, almost felt like it could have just been more of the sisters arc aftermath. It wasn't bad but it doesn't hold up well. Almost as if this should have come first but it wouldn't make sense. GAH! It was fine.
Art: 10 - Fluid and Solid. The fights were some of the best.
Sound: 10 - Amazing OPs and Great OSTs!
Character: 9 - Misaka 10032 is one of my favorite of all the different Mikoto's out there.
Enjoyment: YES!
Overall: One of the best stories fully fleshed out and done in a way that is exactly what you would want. What more could you ask for!?

New Year! New Issues!
The second season of New Game! is much better than the first season.
With the characters established, they can now grow and become fleshed out. The ever calm and sloppy Kou Yagami now lets her cracks in her personality show. Aoba is determined but now shows more responsibility and frailty. Yun shows her kinder side and lets herself breathe more. Hifumi is started to grow into someone people can rely on and talk to. Hajime was perfect since episode 1 so. Still perfect here. No Bias. Just Facts.
The Second Season focuses on a new game being developed and how the team tackle
...
the new project. Once again, it will not explain more than what you need to know about game design in order to follow the characters. They talk about things like "I need you to program this code for a mini game" and then the character does it. They don't start trying to teach you C++ Programming Script. Good. This would never work other wise, trust me.
There are some new hires and a continuation of Nene's story. All wrapped into 12 episodes. I binged this and was kinda sad when I realized I finished it. It is a solid anime about an all girls game development team with light lesbian notions. You will see what I mean.
Story: 9 - a vast improvement over season 1.
Art: 10 - I loved the visuals and how the designs of the characters for the game once again made me want to play a game that does not exist.
Sound: 10 - Banger OP and a good OST. What is not to love? Even the ED bops.
Character: 8 - Some of the characters here are improvements and the new ones introduced are ok. However, the dense bubbly loud outgoing athletic and perfect Hajime just makes the others feel lacking. Jokes aside, they are all improvement of the Season 1 selves.
Enjoyments: This was a great anime and I got legit sad during a certain moment. It is great.
Overall: Just watch it. If I haven't sold you yet then watch it anyway.

This anime was both great and all over the place.
I loved it. Do not mistake this for it being bad. However, this is compared to ReLife a lot. The two are different.
ReLife actually has an anime ending that follows the manga somewhat. This is like the introduction to how the world will be fleshed out and leaves it open for a season 2. If it gets one.
So we got Hashiba Protag-Kun man who is out here living his worst life when he gets hit by... NOTHING! He just wakes up 10 years in the past and decides to change his course of life
...
to live with out regrets. Simple and Clean - Utada Hikaru
When he was older he idolized this group of people called the Platinum Generation and wanted to be like them. Well guess what happens when he goes back in time to his new college and settles into his new share house... HE MEETS THE IDOL OF HIS DREAM! The artist Shinoaki who was behind much of the art that inspired him. It is not a spoiler, trust me. They overly spell it out and then reveal it by Episode 1. He will go through his new life meeting new people and becoming the best version of himself. How will his meddling in the lives of others truly affect what happens from now on? That is what this anime is about.
ReLife was about taking drugs to look younger in order to get your groove back and trying not to fall for or bang a highschool girl should she fall in love with your teenage body. The message behind that anime was better than I worded it. Also, It was more interesting than this. Time travel is nothing new and something unique needs to be done to set it apart.
Is Murder involved? No. That would be Erased. Is there a time loop effect in play? No. That would be Re:Zero. Is this an experiment to save some one? No. That would be Steins;Gate. This is more... If you go back in time, it will alter the future! Spooky! Oooooo! So... The usual time travel plot. It isn't bad. The story is good and characters serviceable and Shinoaki is freaking adorable but... It won't stand out. If there are more seasons to flesh it out, then that can change everything. Stand alone. Nah. Glad I watched it though.
Story: 8 - It is very good in spite of the meh time travel plot. You will enjoy it, unless protag-kun bothers you. Then it is a hard sell.
Art: 10 - Art is amazing. Enough said.
Sound: 8 - Forgettable OST but a banger Opening. The OST is inoffensive but still has some solid songs. Forgettable though sadly. You will like em when you hear em, but don't expect to hum them with out listening to the OST frequently.
Character: 7 - Protag-kun is basic as most basic brown hair romcom slice of life anime are. So... Either you love him or Don't care. The others are great enough. Shinoaki is best girl. I said it. Fight me.
Enjoyment: There are times I felt it was a slog to sit through but 85% of the anime run time was a blast and held my attention. So. Good job.
Overall: An awkward yet well paced anime with a basic premise and a good take on it. The characters will win you over, even if the MC doesn't. Great opening that is catchy as hell and I do love the character designs. I just think it is great that Ichigo found her way into a new anime after Darling in the FranXX.

Cute girls doing things strikes again!
...from 2016. It is 2021 and I just watched New Game!
Here we have cute girls being productive members of society. Disclaimer: All characters depicted are 18 years of age or older. No real reason for the warning except Aoba (The main girl) looks like she is 12.
None of these characters look their age, but that is anime for you. Anywho! Let's see what this anime is about:
A 12 episode comedic look into the world of designing a game from the art dept. side of things. Ok. Cool.
This is a funny anime about a team of girls working on
...
a project for a game company called Square Soft- I mean, Square Soft- I mean Eagle Jump! They are working on Final- Fairy Story 3. Ok I will stop with the mediocre joke. I am sure there are at least 20 reviews making the same joke. Like this one! Go me!
It focuses more on the characters day to day and how they adjust with their work and other mild shenanigans. It does not focus on the technical aspects of it, so if you are worried it will try to flex it's knowledge in LOOOOONG drawn out explanations then, Good news! It won't. It will cover what is needed for the audience to understand what the characters feel. That's it.
It is a solid anime and slice of life heavy and funny. What more could you want? Action? Romance? Sorry. We don't do that here. As someone who loves me some romance, this series didn't need it and I loved it regardless. So it isn't something deep or mentally taxing to watch either. Just pop it on and enjoy!
Story: 7 - It's fine. It follows the group to their deadline of game release. Ha! Release.
Art: 10 - Fantastic art and they promo movie they showed for their game kind of made me want to play Fairy Story 3. I just love JRPGs and Anime openings in them can make it better for me, so I was sold on a game that doesn't exist! SAD!
Sound: 10 - Good music and good sound effects!
Character: 7 - None stand out too much except one character who perfectly captures a gamer's need to see up character model's... If you know what I mean.
Enjoyment: I did enjoy this a great deal. It wasn't mind blowing, but I had several great laughs and enjoyed the story presented.
Overall: 7 - A Great Slice of Life look into Game development without all the extra text book explanations.

This is a solid anime. I know. The premise: Trash. The characters: Trash. The overall product: Trash.
The anime and manga? Amazing. Why? I does not try to take itself seriously. It knows it is trash. It knows and becomes the best trash it can be.
A Soundtrack on par with some of the best romcoms out there Like Kaguya and Oregairu. The Sound track is fire. This is a Romcom that remembered the Funny. It is cranked to fucking Twenty-Five-Teen-Thoushand out of Ten!
Naoya finally got his dream girl in Saki-chan. Then along comes the Blue Hair Nagisa to confess. He can't just reject her. What,
...
Just because he has a girlfriend already and needs to be loyal, he has to reject her? Nah. Why not go ask his girlfriend if he can have TWO Girlfriends! Hey... If Makoto can do it, so can he. You see Makoto died because he wasn't honest to Kotonoha and Sekai, If he just straight up wanted to date both and was honest he- *Sees the School days visual novel end where he gets with both*
Well... there goes my joke.
Regardless... Naoya has two girlfriends to please. He does so with extreme bravado and will always go above and beyond. To him, its 100% or death! Sakisaki is dumb, but also a tsundere. I don't know where I was going with that. Nagisa is border line crazy and trained for 3 months just to confess. She also has blue hair and I fear for her future as a Blue hair girl in a romcom.
You also have Rika who is a popular Youtuber and has a rack to attack. She isn't his girlfriend but will stop at nothing to try. Then there is Shino. She is Sakisaki's best friend and is on the hunt for logic in the anime as there doesn't seem to be any. That is fine though. I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Watch as this disaster becomes one of your favorite romcoms that has emphasis on the com. COMedic, COMpulsive, COMplicated, All of the COMs. It is COMpletely devoid of dull moments and will have you in stitches. It also has the best misunderstanding of the girls walking in on the guy in a "Provocative" situation misunderstanding in anime history. Fight me.
Story - Maybe.
Art - South Korea
Sound - Amazing
Character - Exists
Enjoyment - YES!
Overall - 8. No perfect. it doesn't even want to be close to perfect. It knows it is a 5 at best, but it is so good at being a 5 it transcended it and achieved an 8 overall!

Man. SO much negativity for this series I see. I saw so many 5 and below out of 10 for this.
Let me tell you something! It is OK at best! A solid 7. Let's get down to business then.
So my main gripe first. How do you construct a series so much that the three side protagonists are more interesting than the main protagonist. It baffles me. Rail-gun, Accelerator, and Hamazura are all very interesting. Like... They should have their own series.
*Looks at a Certain Scientific Rail-Gun, A Certain Scientific Accelerator, and a Certain Level Zero Hamazura*
OH WAIT! That last one is fake.
...
When a Certain Level Zero Hamazura or something like that happens though... I will be on that shit!
This 3rd season is full of action, drama, and an actual moment that got me so invested I got a lump in my throat. Seriously. It pulled off the redemption arc so god damn well that it made me feel things. So why the hate? Is it because it takes until the finale of the 3rd season to finally really begin to develop Kamijou's abilities and answer some questions. Not all, but some? ...Ok fair enough on that. This show is suppose to be about Index and Kamijou but honestly the other three protags steal the show. Literally. I was glued when ever they came on.
Ok ok... Kamijou wasn't that bad. He just... Needed more done. Look One Punch Man finishes off people in one punch so they have a competent cast to back it up and draw out tension wonderfully. In a Certain Magical Index... You have a competent cast that does almost nothing when Kamijou is involved and he has to be the one to win the fights. Fine. I get it, but you are making all these other characters look lame by comparison when you have established them as big players prior.
I do like the development Kamijou got and that other characters other than the other 3 protags could shine some but... Index is regulated to Damsel in distress mode once again. No big surprise but I hoped it wouldn't do that. I get it though. I wasn't a fan but I get it why it had to be that way.
74 episodes of this and they also leave it on a cliff hanger note for a fourth and final season if they do it. I hope they do. I am looking forward to give this show a solid 8 at some point. Fourth and Final if my math with how many LN Volumes are left. There are 22 Volumes and Season 3 ends on around 17 or 18 I think? We will see...
Story: 8 - Improvements were made but Kamijou is still Kamijou so... Ya know.
Art: 9 - Fantastic Fight scenes and visuals will keep you gripped all the way through. I had a blast for most of it. They didn't try to do the whole tragic backstory crap as much so the art and flow didn't lose focus.
Sound: 7 - I love the OST a bit more. Maybe because I heard for the better part of 74 episodes but some of the new songs were fire. The new Imagine Breaker Sound effect hurts my ears though. Season 4 needs to go back to the sounds it used in S1 and S2.
Character: 7 - You will love Rail-Gun, Accelerator, and Hamazura's stories. In fact, 2 of those 3 have their own shows! Which I will get to when I watch em.
Enjoyment: Yes. Very.
Overall: 7 - I still am digging this series in spite of my rants. I love it and Can not wait for a season 4!
Edit: This was the end before New Testament. So. My bad.

I finished Season 2 of a Certain Magical Index. Minor Spoiler. Nothing major.
Uh... Ok. SO! Improvements and pros!
1: The characters outside of One Punch-ish Man are used this time!
The mages have more of a chance to shine here. Even the titular Index does things. SHOCKING!
Character development? In my Anime? It's more likely than you think...
2: The fight choreography has improved!
Fights feel faster and more fluent. The spells and attacks are flashy and characters work together to combine tactics to overcome battles.
...
3: The openings!
Bangers. All of them. The endings are nice too! The OST is still ok.
4: The story actually starts to have a plot! Other character stories lead into the spin offs!
I can see why a Certain Scientific Rail-gun and Accelerator exist. I have not seen them yet, but I am getting to em. The Plot is now gearing up to showcase the start of a war between the Mages and Scientists. COOL! Only took a season and a half but ok. I see you.
NOW THE CONS!
1: Kamijou the Lucky Harem Protagonist!
Ok. I am all up for women wanted the MC's D but uh... can we make it make sense first? We got a young nun, a Rail-Gun, a Clone, A Priestess, a Ninja Saint, A Class Rep, and a Ghost girl thing. I get why Index and Misaka might like him, but why the clone, saint, etc.? Like he just showed up in their life and helps once and boom! They want babies. He does not even spend time with them or develop the relationship... So... Maybe calm down on that?
2: The tragic Back Story 2: Sadness Boohoogaloo
When you villain decides to tell their backstory right before the climax of the fight in motion and it is about... an amusement park ride failure... I... I can't take that seriously anymore. That was bad. Really Really bad.
3. This Fist is the Fist to crush the Heavens! (Literally)
SO! When is Kamijou just straight up not gonna be enough? Touch this and that and Boom! End it with One Punch Man! Imagine breaker is cool, but we are about 48 episodes in and now and something new like a development would be great. He can't seriously still be classified as a Level 0 Esper after beating Level 5s, Angels, High ranked sorcerers and a freaking Commander of enemy forces by this point. Let my mans grow!
4: Talk no-jutsu during "Critical Moments"
"We only have 2 minutes before we die! let me tell you why I am doing this and my back story which will take 10 minutes and then we can fight and you will still make it in time. No need to worry" Says the villain as that exact thing happens. Seriously! A dood was getting the shit kicked in while Index was on the phone! LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT TO SAID DOOD GETTING KICKED!
...10/10
Story: Uh/10 - It is better but still a bit confusing. It is developing into an overall plot so I am game for season 3.
Art: 9 - Much better and really fantastic!
Sound: 8 - Pretty cool effects with some stock explosions you can't unhear and the soundtrack is ok.
Character: 7 - Better than Season 1 but something feels very Gary Sue here.
Enjoymen: Binged Season 2 in 2 days like I did Season 1. Doing something right.
Overall: 7. Won't break barriers like Kamijou can but hey. It is pretty damn good. I swear he better end up with either Index or Misaka at the end or this will be lame.

I am surprised no reviews exist. This is an... Interesting manga.
Zombie Shoujo no Fujimi-San is odd yes, but wholesome. A boy wakes up during a zombie apocalypse and the girl he kinda crushed on is a Zombie. HOWEVER, she acts normal.
Fujimi-san has no idea why she is the way she is, yet Nekuro (The MC) is determined to stay with her despite not being a Zombie himself.
They travel together and begin to develop feelings. However, being that she is infected, they can not interact outside of hand holding. The most lewd of all acts. Next you gonna show me Nekuro head patting her...
...
Degenerates.
This is a fun Short Romcom. I think only 12 chapters exist and looked to end it nicely? Maybe I am wrong. I could only read chapter 8 through 12 in Japanese and my Japanese is pretty bad so I understood like 2% of those last chapters. Still if it IS the end. Then the ending is sweet.
Story: 8 - Short. Simple. Sweet. You could say it is... INFECTIOUS!? HMM? ...Sorry...
Art: 9 - A Busty Zombie in a bikini. Yeah. That has this.
Character: 8 - Won't change lives. For the readers anyway.
Enjoyment: Very much yes.
Overall: Necrophilia is not something one should expect when reading this. Yet... I think this may imply that? I don't know. Don't think about it. Just enjoy.
