Vinland Saga absolutely exceeded my expectations on this one. The show starts off with Thorfinn, the main character who is actually based off of historical icelandic explorer Thorfinn Karlsefni, losing his father to a battle which leads Thorfinn on a quest to kill the man who killed his father.

This was a really good part to add into the show because it sets the scene for development in Thorfinn which can keep watchers attention and make them seeking for more (and for me, it did). It sets the plot and gives you a look into what you are getting yourself into but at the same ... time doesn’t make the show predictable. Which was a huge part for it.

The show jumps between different characters and groups of people, which keeps it unique and interesting and gives you in-sight of what’s happening so after the episode you arent wondering what the fuck happened with character A, B, etc.

One thing that is bad about the show is that its plot is very unorganized which can be a downside for some people, it did not affect my rating in this case but if you are looking for a show that makes perfect sense it might effect your experience and expectations when watching.

The fight scenes are dramatic and exciting (with lots of blood and gore) and are action packed which for a show of this caliber is necessary because in EVERY episode there is some sort of fight or violence (which is good for this show). The animation is great and not bland.

TDLR: Its a “viking” show with good fight scenes and interesting characters and events, which makes the show exciting and entertaining.

A couple words can be used to describe this show in a nutshell: A typical otherworldly highschool with a guy and his “harem”.

I could not continue this show because it makes so many attempts to make the actual plot interesting but it fails every time because this show is just a cesspool of fan-service. Its really gross and the characters are very shallow and uninteresting and all this combined makes the very few “dramatic” parts of the show just blend in with the trash.

If the show was simpler it might be able to keep up with the 7.00 rating it ... has currently on MAL but it doesn’t make the cut. Unless you have really bad taste, I don’t see this show appealing to anyone, would not recommend. 4/10 show.

Horimiya is your average romantic comedy, but it quickly got me addicted wondering how the show would continue.
Its a show where you can relate to one of the characters one way or another, or somehow be interested in the relationships they form.

The artwork and timings are great and although the plot is very messed up due to a lot of stuff being packed into only 13 episodes, the show makes up for it with each moment being exciting and the character’s development overtime.
If you ... like this genre, give it a watch, its a very interesting and exciting show, and it was not a disappointment at all for me.

What you are looking at for Sword Art Online 2 is a mess of an anime.
The whole setup is very random and also drawn out longer than you would want it to, as you will always be waiting for something to happen, watching the next episode, realizing the show is still as boring as ever. The anime’s attempt at keeping you interested won’t work, which is part of the reason why this show as such a low rating.

Like the last season of this show, there is another arc at the end which has little to no relevancy to the main plot of the ... beginning episodes and is very misplaced. I’m rating this show an overall 6 because it isn’t very bad but I would say if you are a devoted fan of this show, please give it a watch because it is short and is needed to keep up with the future seasons. If you aren’t, drop this show after the first season. You won’t regret it.
