Bloom into you is quite a beautiful anime. I’ve never seen a anime touch subjects about people who don’t feel romantic and or sexual attraction. Shows rarely talk about the aromantic-asexual spectrum in the west as it is. This show does have some flaws. However, overall it’s a beautiful show. The animation is really pretty and the characters are pretty cool especially Yuu. My only issue with this series is that sometimes one of the main characters Touko steps over the boundaries of her love interest Yuu who is on this spectrum of not being interested in romance. It’s nothing to the point that I ... have to turn it off because Touko usually asks for consent when giving Yuu affection. Yuu doesn’t mind Touko giving her affection. Even though she doesn’t show any special romantic feelings towards her. I recommend this show. It’s one of a kind. Keep in mind It’s less of a romance anime than it looks like but I think it’s more about the struggles of love and friendship.
