I've seen this exactly two times and the first thing that put me off is the number of episodes. granted it is an interesting story and slightly unpredictable but a story like this is better off as an epic.
The story is something that is dramatic, and at fitst looks very happy, teenagy and a bit perverted. read Manga so I don't know how the story came out there. But I am basing this review solely on the Anime.
I like this anime because the story was really gripping. I'm still reeling from the story and I want to keep watching it and I can't stop talking about it. It is a beautiful story mixed with tears, melancholy, darkness, a sadistic twisted plot and the root of everything, love.
The negatives about this is just one single thing. WHY IS IT SO SHORT!
These types of stories will be played out beautifulll when it is done slowly and at a tortoise pace. Starting from the beginning to the slow change to the intense friendship to the small fights till the end of the episodes. It should have atleast been a 50 episodes if not more. It all seems a bit rushed and before you know it, everything is over, the story is told and nothing else is left to do but sit with your head spinning.
But if you haven't watched it, I recommend that you do.
