Honestly the biggest problem was the fact that the fights did not capture the intensity that came from the manga itself, the emotions in the second fight. It fell short in every aspect and ended up becoming a joke of an adaption. Even the youtuber AmiasD, who edited the manga chapters with great transition from panel to panel, with music (before being removed, rip sweet dreams. But you can find reuploads on yt) did an amazing job in setting up how the fights should've felt.

I understand that they're trying to squeeze like 100 something chapters into 12 episodes, so you're essentially bound to skip quite a few things/change up the story from the manga. But why on earth if you're speeding through the series you show a backstory of literally 3 irrelevant characters (no exaggeration) but cut the better scenes short? Consistency could be a bit better imo
But overall the pacing is pretty quick, it's almost Tokyo Ghoul : re speed but the animation is better. Art actually represents how they're shown in the manga so applaud there. I'd still recommend reading the manga to get better context on certain ...

This is suppose to be a sequel? Are you kidding me? This is more like 25 mins of recapping first season, 25 mins of PTSD flashbacks, and 30 mins of a somewhat "new" development. You're better off labeling this as an OVA.
Honestly it was not worth 1 hour and 20 mins of my life. You're better off doing something else How else am I suppose to write this longer since this movie provides nothing good to even talk about. What an absolute disaster of a sequel. After years of waiting all we got was this mess. It would've been better to just end it with just season 2 and not bother with a third.
The pacing is very confusing, almost reminds me of Tokyo Ghoul : Re season 2. Very fast and makes no sense. A lot of the things that happens is questionable, a few main thing is power scaling. Someone who can booty clap on people 1 moment, but after a few hours later (literally says in anime) they're almost on equal footing for a brief moment??? What kind of power up is ...

Imagine Overlord if it wasn't stupid. That's what this anime is. Doesn't waste half a season on irrelevant character arc, and is actually fast pace.
This show doesn't spend much 6 episodes on building story that has no impact, very enjoyable story and tells it quite nicely. The pacing of episodes are pretty good, gets things resolved within 1 - 2 episodes and continues with the story, not much time is spent on irrelevant characters who doesn't compare to the main character. Great art, love the opening theme song, and knows how to hook audiences and keeps the hook without letting go with boring background ...

A great movie that actually cuts idle chatter by a lot. I was surprised with how little talking they did overall, and especially with any screaming to transform, doesn't take 10 mins to go into next stage. They cut a lot of useless/unnecessary things that would've made the movie 5 hours into 2 if they stuck with normal methods from dbz
The only downside was the 3DCG that would appear randomly during fights, otherwise the fights were absolutely beautiful and colorful, the music was hype which was great Would recommend if you enjoy a movie with loads of fighting with very little idle chatter, or just ...

This show is more confusing than my relationship. Like seriously, what is even going on in half these episodes? Who thought it was a good idea to squeeze 120 chapters into 12 episodes? It's like they made nothing from the original series and are on a poor budget. Like even 3DCG with 24 episodes would've been better.
Pacing is too hectic, it's literally like a train wreck, I have nothing else to say except avoid this mess. Or watch if you enjoy roller coasters The show makes a particular mecha anime from this season look like it was decent despite being also a train wreck. LOL |
