Some of my friends and I got together and decided to watch this movie as we had not seen it before and had heard positive things about it. The first thing I noticed was the very high quality animation. That being said there's more to a show than just how it looks. Several of the characters I did not quite understand nor their actions. Now the biggest problem I had with the show was the damn bike. Not specifically the bike but *spoiler alert I guess*
When his bike gets lent out and ditched in a field he does not even attempt to find the identity
...
of the guy (or girl) that ditched the bike. Just disrespectful. I wouldn't be taking that kind of disrespect. How is he supposed to pay them a visit to gift words if he doesn't know who they are or where they live? It was like in the new Mad Max when they had a very large scope mounted over a top ejecting rifle. It's in the way of the ejecting cartridges and it would cause malfunctions and damage to the scope. Totally ruined the movie for me. Like that but with a bike.
Characters:
Didn't get the MC he was a dick. Why would you pick on such a cute girl? Smh. On the positive side he was apparently the first person to start picking on her and the rest of the class followed which makes him a leader. Employers look for good leadership skills so he's got that going for him. His friend (the short one) was a real bro, liked him. The movie should've had more of him in it. That one girl with the black hair, not the reverse trap but the bitchy one, yeah her. She was best girl. The deaf girl and the reverse trap were cool too. (pay attention this is important) but after watching anime for a while I've noticed that blind or deaf girls always die and who wants a dead wife? Ain't nobody got time for funerals.
Story:
There was a story and it did progress and do story stuff.
Overall enjoyment:
Pretty good. Enjoyable. I had a fairly good time watching it. Better with friends. Didn't even get my eyes wet. Deaf girl trying to talk was pretty funny. No wonder he couldn't understand her, she wasn't even speaking English. Would I watch it again? No but I've already seen it. Should you watch it? The better question is what are you doing with your life.
