Kingsdoms of Ruin is kinda like this year's Mira Nikki, your typically edgy show with a badass protagonist who's going against the world. However as a Manga and LN enjoyer I know where the story is headed and cant wait to see some scenes adaptated. The anime does take on an 18+ theme but in a way similar to AOT does rather from fan service and ecchi scenes. The story picks up after the Moon incident and we get more character development as the story goes on leading to some badass fights and enjoyable scenes.

As a Light Novel (LN) reader, this part was done really well. Knowing all the things that would happen and understanding what's going to be happening next made it all the better. It was amazing how all the content from the Depressed Magician Arc/Mid Rank Adventure to the University arc and now with the start of this new arc, fit so well into twelve episodes. Now, as for where the show left off, 'Mushoku Tensei II' concluded, in my opinion, in an amazing way.
