Just wanted to make a review as I see nobody as done one for the moment (first time).

I was new to Manhwas, and I readed Sweet Home. Clearly my best experience on mobile reading so far. So when I found that Shotgun Boy was a prequel to SH, I couldn't wait to take the train.

I am at chapter 50 and here is my opinion :

- Characters have pretty much the same system as SH, antisocial boy, his girl crush, some teacher, coward students etc... Maybe you will find it boring, or not just as me.

- Drawings are below SH, it's always dark ... and you don't see a lot of things especially if you are reading outside. And monsters are less originals.

- Lots of correlations to SH. You will find some protagonist you already know, finding links between the two stories and mostly big revelations. Love it as a fan.

Conclusion :

Will you like it as a Sweet Home non-reader ? Maybe but probably less. Would I recommend SH before ? Absolutely. Shotgun Boy is a good experience, not fantastic. But my personal enjoyment is great since the start, always fun to read.
