"Kare" First Love
|
Both series focus on a couple. how they meet, get together and all the hardships on their way. Sakura in BODY is a stronger girl than in Kare First Love, and more likeable, in my opinion. Makes it more realistic than Kare First Love. A worthy read for sure.

Koizora: Setsunai Koimonogatari

Yeah, it's really a lot like BGI. Both girls fall in love with a cool popular boy, have a serious relationship, suffer hardships of the reality, and there are a lot of people who don't wish for their happiness. Although BGI is "lighter" in sense of hardships. Koizora is really tragic. Mika suffers A LOT, starting from rape to miscarriage.. Koizora is a true sad love story.
