The manhwa starts off good with a marriage of convenience of sorts. Arnee's(FL) mom is bothering her to date/get married and Cassian(ML) is trying to avoid a marriage to some chick who would spy on him for the Emperor of the Northern Empire. Arnee is the Western empires hero and swordmaster but ML doesn't know this at first and falls for her charm and character. The first season was good if a little slow.
All of a sudden half way through the story they start to introduce multiple bad guys that we don't really see until the end. The characters with black hair all look pretty

This story has a slightly different take on the time reversal trope. The FL is born with a birthmark on her face that others claim make her a devil and grotesque, but when she goes back in time to live again it vanishes. She has to tackle her trauma associated with her birthmark and family.
The storyline is not completed. The last chapter has the protagonists figure out who the real culprit behind a human trafficking operation is. They plan to go back to the capital to confront them, but no real ending. It was kind of slow, but the romance between the FL and ML ...

Just for those of you wondering this is not incest. They both know they are not blood siblings before they start to do anything intimate. It does feel kind of sketchy because readers don't find out until after ch. 40 that they're not siblings. It's fine while they are children during the first 30 chapters because they don't anything remotely romantic.

This story and plot line were typical for the premise and genre of a person reborn in another world with the memories of their past life and wanting to live a better life this time. There wasn't much romance but surface level blushing and holding hands. There was never even a confession or admitting that they liked the other person by the FMC.
